If you’re in Jasper, this is stop number one. There’s a parking area where you can start exploring downstream. Along with stunning nature, you’ll find bridges over scenic canyons, beautiful nooks, and breathtaking waterfalls below. You can do a short loop and return to your car, or you can go all the way down, though it will take longer. We were even lucky enough to spot some deer greeting us right at the parking lot.

Great landscapes, it’s amazing and also a bit nerve-wracking to look over the bridges and see just how deep the canyon is! The nature and rock formations were magnificent even though we’ve seen a lot of canyons and waterfalls at this point of the trip. The trails were very well marked, clean, and safe. As you go down it gets a bit steeper but it’s manageable - just remember if you’re coming back up you have to climb a bit of elevation. We took the loop down to the Fourth Bridge and we loved its quietness as it has less people compared to the Second and Third Bridges. Parking wasn’t too hard for us, and there was a tea house at the end of the trail so you can refresh yourself.

We went first thing in morning, parked at fifth bridge. There was almost no other cars yet. It is a great hike up with many opportunities to enjoy the views and take pictures. The return trip was nicer as it was downhill.

Absolutely breathtaking place. I loved every moment at the canyon, nature is truly amazing. Hiking from bridge 1 to 5 is a steep downhill, you have to climb up to get back to where you started. Wear shoes with good grip and treat yourself at the tea house by the parking lot.
