Escaping the desk for a much-needed fresh bite, I checked out ROLLiO, the new Japanese/Korean and fusion spot right next door! What a find! I loved scrolling through their effortless self-serve kiosk (you can also order at your table!). My Okinawa Pork Cutlet Rice Bowl was exactly what I needed--piping hot, perfectly crispy, and utterly delicious, complete with a fresh side salad. Seriously impressed with their menu, from rolls and mains to bowls and noodles. Plus, they're known for their "Build Your Dish" option, where you can customize your perfect plate! I will come back to try other combos and the "Build Your Dish." The hard part is what to choose? The also have loyalty program so create an account to earn 1 point for every $1 spent and unlock $5 off every 100 points! As well, follow the Instagram profile @rollio_restaurant for promotions. I created my account on the self-serve kiosk.

We strolled through Lower Lonsdale and stopped at ROLLiO, and we're glad we did! This new spot in North Vancouver is bright, clean, and easy to order from (just a quick tap at their kiosk and you're good to go). It's a great mix of casual West Coast eats with some tasty Korean fusion twists. We tried a few of their signature à la carte items. Here's the rundown: * Rollio Morning Big Bowl - This super-filling bowl is packed with flavour. It's the kind of breakfast bowl that keeps you full and happy all day. * Massive Strawberry Mascarpone French Toast - This thing is massive. Fluffy, creamy, sweet, and totally drool-worthy. Our fave for sure! * Lonsdale Lobster Trio - A solid choice! Classic lobster in toasty buns--simple and tasty. * Korean Street Fried Chicken - Crispy, juicy, and straight-up addictive. Another top pick! * Korean BBQ Beef (Bulgogi) - Tender, flavourful, and hits all the right Korean BBQ notes. * Okinawa Pork Cutlet (Tonkatsu) - Crispy on the outside and juicy inside. Comfort food! Everything was flavourful, and the portions were generous, perfect for sharing. If we had to pick just two favourites, we'd go with the French Toast and Korean Fried Chicken--absolute winners!
