I recommend walking a little and going to another coffee shop as the tall man that works behind the counter is so rude!!! I grabbed a table towards the back of the shop to put my things down and open my laptop. I was literally sitting there for 5 minutes before he came over to me and starting saying I had to buy something as this is not a library. I told him I was going to order a drink but he kept yelling at me. I had to tell him to walk away from me and stop going around in circles as he would not quit. I was in complete shock at the audacity of this man. I packed up my things and took my business elsewhere.

TL;DR: Cinnamon buns are really dry. There's at least one outlet at the bar table by the window. Came here to get some midterm studying done while waiting for a buy/sell meetup at Commercial-Broadway. I'm not really a coffee person, so I ordered a "gooey" cinnamon bun with icing ($3.75). Gooey in quotes, because the bun part was pretty dry and hard on the insides (too thick? not microwaved enough? who knows?), and the goo between the bun layers is not quite enough to saturated the bun with flavor. Both my laptop and my phone were at about 15%, so I was desperate to find a charging outlet. Lucky for me, there was one by the high tables (close to the middle) facing the CIBC across the street. I didn't use their Wi-Fi, but I assume you have to ask someone at the front for a code. I would hope there are other outlets inside the store, because the glare from the sun at 3pm is almost unbearable if you're sitting there for more than 10 minutes. A notice by the trash can notes that they have the right to enforce maximum seating times, but I'm assuming if you can bear the noise levels and it's not too busy, you're probably good to go.

Delicious Chai tea and matcha latte . All staff is so gentle at this place. They follow strictly the sanitization protocol. Prices are very affordable and they have a huge variety of products and delicious alternatives. We visit here continuously and no matter the busy of the location, they always have nice words for customers and excellent customer service skills.

Looking for a nice relaxing coffee house experience? Then go to any other Blenz location! The last time I was at this one, I went to get a table at the very back so I could avoid all the sketchy people loitering around the front area. Which seems to be a common issue at this location. I found a little table near the washrooms at the back, but when I looked to the ground what did I see? A big shirtless guy passed out on the floor. Hmmm......then I had to painfully watch as the two young female employees tried to wake him up and pull him by his arms, but he wasn't going anywhere. Entertaining to say the least. Maybe I should suggest hiring a bouncer? Seriously, I love Blenz coffee but this is by far the worst location. If you have a Blenz craving, head over to the location on Main & 26th. Its the polar opposite of this one, an immaculate store, great surroundings and wonderful staff.

I came in today to order a beverage and use the restroom. The sign outside, on the door said: 'no public washroom'. The sign inside listed all of the new safety precautions including: 'seating and washrooms for paying customers only'. I was told after paying for my order that no one is allowed to use their washroom. Kindly update your signage so that it reads: no washroom on site, not even for paying customers! I understand you have a new policy in order to keep your staff safe and good on you, but please update your sign. Thanks

It's summer, and it's hot, and you need a blast of AC and a cold drink? This is the place to go -- If you're gonna be sitting here for a while it may get pretty chilly though, I've been sitting here for half an hour and I'm already shivering ! I went on a whim and ordered something I don't ususally do -- iced caffeinated beverages. I heard they make a good ice white chocolate mocha so I ordered it -- Kind of pricey for my liking ($4.50) -- I usually get a normal drip coffee, but it was actually quite delicious -- really rich and creamy and it tastes like they melted real white chocolate to put into it, not that gross powder/syrup stuff. I could be wrong, but meh I liked it ! Tables are wobbley though, and no outlets to plug your computer into if you need to get some work done, so you have been warned!

So this morning I ordered a SMALL caramel macchiato with almond milk. Not only did the lady use regular milk, the man charged me for a medium drink and the almond milk. My small drink was 7$. Ridiculous.

I go to this location regularly, but I will not be going again. While I was having my coffee this afternoon, another customer was talking rather loudly with the employee behind the counter. This customer ranted for about 10 minutes about how awful transgender people are. During all his very hurtful comments, the employee never tried to discourage him or even quiet him down. On the contrary, it appeared as if the employee was agreeing. This is not a business that I would consider a safe place for transgender individuals.

I am not a fan of Blenz coffee, but thats taste (subjective). Whats not up to subjectivity is their horrible idea about what customer service! Heads up staff, managers, or policy makers - there is a reason that other cafes allow people to freely use their washrooms, tap water, and wifi internet - its to attract foot traffic! Also, it makes your company look like such big dicks to the person who actually needs to use these very basic plumbing services when their denied. And when I just wanted to check my email for a second on my way to work? Yep, I hate you guys more than ever. So maybe there's enough people who use this washroom to make the staff feel justified about only letting a paying customer in. It may never have occurred to them that the reason their particular toilet was so popular was either due to a lack of a public washrooms on this block, or because their washroom is some holy Commercial at Broadway shrine. On this note, they also charge you for the privilege of a glass of tap water. Does "buying" a cup make you a customer? I dont understand this policy, because this brand of customer exclusivity in a coffee chain is a self perpetuating cycle - deny a potential customer one of your services before they buy anything, and then they wont want to buy anything from you again out of pure resentment. But if they did, they'd resent you for your poor coffee. From now on Im going to the starbucks just across the street, or try anything north of you for some GOOD coffee. Not only are they better cafes, but they wont think twice about giving you something as simple as a washroom key or a cup of tap water.

Broadway and Commercial- good location? It seems like it's great for business. But now I'm not so sure. Getting in the store involves navigating past a crowd of people waiting for the bus. Lots of people block your way. Inside the atmosphere is dingy. It's just not inviting or welcoming. Sitting at a table by the window is not rewarding, because you're starting at the crowds of people waiting for the bus. With so many other options on the drive, I will skip this one from now on.
