i was craving for some soup noodles when browsing along robson so i settled for Ebi Ten for a quick bowl if udon Been there a number of times in the past but not for the last couple of years or so. Their menu changed a bit to include more rice dishes and not as many soup udon. So i chose the curry tonkatsu udon I found overall the bowl was alright for a quick bite cos quality and quantity are both average The curry sauce was added on top after broth udon was prepared so it was oddly cold. The tonkatsu felt quite greasy. But as most japanese food facilities, service was good for sure

Ebi Ten is located 388 Robson St downtown Vancouver. It has a grab and go section and a small sit down section. They have pre-made rice bowls, bento boxed, sushi rolls, aburi, onigiri and much more. Got the loco moco $6.95 and spam musubi $3.45. The egg wasn't very runny, the hamburger meat was satisfying. Spam musubi had a good amount of rice and salty spam. Debit/credit only and has a no tipping added to the bill.

Japanese fast food featuring tempura bowls and curry, also some desserts. In general I don't love deep-fried foods but sometimes I like tempura, so I gave this a try. Ordered the ten don - prawns (4) and vegetable (green beans and 1 pc sweet potato) on rice. The batter was light and crispy but on the oiler side for tempura. I personally would've traded one of the prawns for more vegetables, but I was happy with the portion size. Overall nothing memorable but not bad. I also grabbed a pudding cup (from Cake Ya, a local producer of Japanese desserts), which was good - their desserts are high quality and taste fresh even though they're packaged. Service was okay - reasonably fast. The restaurant including the washroom were very clean. I like that they use real bowls for dining in even though it's kind of a fast food place.

Oh.my.gosh. If I lived in Vancouver, I would eat here everyday! The sushi here was so fresh, tasty and well priced at around $4 per roll. I just came from the airport and had a few hours to chill, so I sat here and ate roll after roll for three hours, lmfao. The staff was so friendly, and again-- the food was fantastic! I would surely be a regular if I lived in the area. Definitely a popular spot around lunch time!

My go to place for a quick curry fix when visiting Vancouver. This is approximately my 3rd time back Very consistent, reasonably priced dishes, staff always efficient and polite.

If you want a quick Japanese grab & go food, Ebi Ten is perfect. The price & portion are good. The food tasted good. - Tonkatsu curry: pork katsu were crispy yet the meat was tender. The curry sauce was thick (not watered down) - tasted ok. - Cheese katsu curry: the pork katsu was crispy & tender. I wish they put more cheese on the katsu. Again, the curry wasn't mu favorite. - Teriyaki chicken: hubby's favorite! The chicken was well cooked. The pieces were tender & flavorful. - Karaage bento: it came with 3 big pieces of crispy karaage. The meat was tender & well seasoned. - California roll: the rolls were rather small sized but taste wise, they were good roll. We bought the food to-go few times and our order came out pretty fast. We ordered via Uber Eats one time and everything was packed properly and was still warm when we got it.

Dropped by here yesterday for a quite bite, they have a machine to quickly make shrimp tempura and to assemble the bowl it took them almost no time, so if u were in a rush, this is the place to eat at. I ordered Mega Bowl, there are tempura shrimp, tempura green beans, greens, rice, tofu with minced pork and teriyaki chicken. Every bite is a new experience, the tempura is so delicious, there is sweet Mayo between the teriyaki chicken and the greens, trust me stirring them up and eat it, it is amazing! It is a pretty big bowl I couldn't finish the rice in the end. Will def come back again.

I needed a quick meal before seeing Cirque Du Soleil - Luzia (awesome by the way, but that's for another review!) and found myself on Robson Street. Marutama was my first choice, but there was a huge lineup, so I opted for Ebi-Ten. Sort of like a fast food place, you order your food at the counter and then they'll call you up when your order is ready. There's complimentary water and you pick up your utensils too. I chose the Mega Bowl ($12.50) as it seemed to be the biggest portion. I'm not sure if it's a limited time offer, but extra rice is free so I definitely did not pass up on that. The food came pretty quickly and it was a lot of food. The teriyaki chicken had a good flavour. The tempura was 2 pieces of prawn and yam, and was a big highlight for me. The prawn was moist and juicy. The tempura batter was quite light. The Minced pork and tofu with spicy sauce reminded me of mapo tofu. It was not very spicy at all, but had a nice kick. This went very well with the rice. Speaking of rice, this was a really generous portion of rice and I was definitely full by the end of my meal. Overall, a quick and delicious meal and relatively cheap for downtown.

One line review: Decent Japanese fast food We were downtown for a weekend conference (just before the COVID shutdown) and had a chance to try several restaurants in the area near Westside Church, across from the central library. This was the first place we went. We ordered: Ebi-ten bowl with rice, tempura (2 shrimp, sweet potato -- not crisp but edible Chicken teriyaki (lightly seasoned) Mega bowl (as above with tofu and minced pork added) The food, as indicated above, was decent. The dining room was non-descript -- typical fast food restaurant. Service was adequate but not memorable. We took transit into downtown, so I know nothing about parking around there -- except that I would hate to have to park down there. Bottom line: On the whole, I would eat here again if I were in the area. But the other reality is that we were there for a weekend and /didn't/ eat there again when we had the chance. It was fine but not compelling enough to go back to so soon.

Great place for lunch. I was recently visiting the area, walked by, and was drawn to this restaurant. They're conveniently fast. I sat there for a bit watching them push out one order after another for lunch. The prices are very fair, and you do get a lot of food. I had already eaten something not long before, but I had to try their Sushi Rolls. It was just 6 pieces, but quite delicious. The menu is small and very simple. The lady at the counter kept me waiting for a bit, even though I was the only person in line. That was a bit annoying....
