This review is about club house. We stopped by around 3:15pm and stayed until closing (5pm) The customer pays at the cashier first, and they will give you a number card. We can choose where to sit and the servers will bring the orders looking at the table number card. The cashier and server's attitude were not overly friendly. It was like more concession stand mood. But it's ok. Because it's public place and no frills. We ordered two pieces of Cod Fish and chips. It was alright. the patio was surrounded by beautiful flowers and they add more depth for the dishes. The view is wonderful, too. They have carpet indoor dining room but I highly recommend outside seats.

This is a review only for the food served at the clubhouse. I did not golf here though S golfed here very often and liked the course. The view from the clubhouse was very pretty, especially when flowers were in bloom. You could dine indoors or out at the patio. As it was a nice evening, we decided to sit outside. It is not really a full service place. You go to the counter to place your order and they will bring the food out. Maybe they are also short staffed but many tables were not cleared when we were there. I had the burger with fries which was ok, nothing outstanding. S had the hot wings which he did not really like. He said my burger was better. I had also walked the trail a few years ago and you do have to be careful and watch where you are going. Go with someone as it can be very quiet inside the area.

Glad to see the renovations have finished. Inside looks lovely and the food quite good (I had the typical Burger and Beer combo. Large amount of fries, stuffed burger (usually I get the bacon cheeseburger but it was just the standard burger this time) At the table the salmon burger look A1 and the BLT's never disappoint.

This place really deserves 1 star. Used to be a great little range, when it was privately owned. Owner was friendly, personable and always willing to help. I remember when it was just $3.50 for a bucket, and I always carried a stash of tokens in my bag. Ever since the City took it over the place has gone absolutely downhill. The first floor is musty and grotty, and when it rains streams of water pour down from the upper deck. There are wood timbers that are broken and rotting, cobwebs everywhere, and pools of water collecting in open puddles. The upper deck doesn't fare much better. No cover at all - so wear a hat or prepare to get sunburned. No drivers or woods upstairs (which is standard, but of course that doesn't stop the occasional ruffian), low partitions (wayward balls everywhere) , and not even rubber tees to practice swings on. Pricing is a joke. $7.5 for a single bucket? Not to mention the geniuses at the Pro Shop. Recently I went in to grab a new card for 25 buckets. Waited in line while they fumbled with their card reading machine, before they got back to me telling me that the card dispenser was broken. The girl at the counter even had the audacity to tell me that I should call in a day in advance to make sure their machine is working before coming in. What in the world?? If you want my advice - go to Riverway. Much, much better maintained range, with proper cover and even electric heating. As much short game practice as you want, free of charge. And of course - way more cost effective. This is just for the range. The course requires an entirely separate review, as it's quite a decent course. But it's clear they don't give a rat's ass about the range because it's not the moneymaker.

One of the best golf courses out there, if you can get a tee time! Wide fairways, 5 different tee boxes and exceptional greens that will always challenge you. The range has an upper and lower deck but you can only hit driver from the lower deck. The range can get busy and is often backed up due to lessons. The club house is quaint but the food is meh - lots of deep fried food & nothing vegan. The patio is fun with a great view of the 18th hole. Great for dates, events but maybe not a place for kids unless they're into golf.

Still consider it a great course. Was at the Canada Life Open at Point Grey Sunday. First stop on the McKenzie Tour so these players are professionals usually out of college. Lots of players from the US and others from all over the world like Australia, Asian and Europe. Heard a couple of the pros and caddies, that did not make the weekend cut, that they had played Fraserview and McCleery and were definitely recommending the course to other pros. That tells me enough.

FORE! FOUR! ...not on my SCOREcard! On the side of a hill overlooking the river in Burnaby, stands a challenging track with fast greens and changing landscapes. Played a round with a client while out west. I had to use rental clubs but fared all right. Thing to note, it's hard to hold the greens here and if you lose a ball into the bushes...leave it! The whole place is covered in some briar bushes and it can leave you with some nice cuts. The facility has a small restaurant for a club house, a small pro shop with knowledgeable staff, a driving range, and a putting green. Though nice, I found the round to be expensive for the track. No matter how you look at though...a bad round of golf is still better than any day at work! So the saying goes...FORE!!!!

Gee I've always liked Fraserview Golf Course. It has been around since I first started playing golf! 25 years later it's still around! I played my first round of golf here! To me this course is the Vieille dame (Grand Old Lady) of the Van City golf scene. I'll bet ya 75 percent of people who play golf in Van played their first game at Fraserview Golf Course! I've only done it once but it's cool to sit in the patio overlooking the 18th hole with a cold drink, and watch people duff their approach shots! Haha The course itself was in good condition! Tough pin placements and gutless putting from yours truly lead to a frustrating day! We played team skins. Playing golf for money always adds to the stress level! Those easy 2 foot putts suddenly look like tough 4 feet putts! I shot 103! But won in the skins game and collected my $5.00! Haha!

This is the busiest of the three municipal courses in Vancouver. It's busy because Langara is the third choice, McCleery is the toughest and not as nice, and this has the nicest tree lined fairways and is challenging enough. Anytime any of my friends get a tee time here, I'm in if I can make it.

This is a good choice for golf in Vancouver. Lots of old growth trees, a bit of variety with sand, water and elevation (I usually golf in Richmond so I love the change from a flat course), and very easy to get to. That said, I felt that the course could have been groomed a bit better today. Some fairways were OK but some really needed the grass cut last week. What made matters more challenging was the fact that temporary greens were in play, as the main greens were being re-seeded. Sure can't complain about the price: $45 per person for green fees AND a cart! Clubhouse staff were fine, but not overly friendly. Didn't stay for lunch or use the driving range, so can't comment on those.
