Boulangerie sans gluten. Nous voulions voir quel type d'offre elle proposait et nous y sommes allés pour un petit déjeuner tardif. Nous étions les premiers à y rentrer donc le lieu était relativement calme. La propriétaire était sympathique, sans pour autant être trop jasante. Nous avons pris des mets salés et des boissons. C'était bon et comme tout était sans gluten, c'était safe. J'ai également acheté des biscuits et muffins à emporter pour le restaurant du séjour. Durant notre repas plusieurs personnes sont rentrées acheter des choses à emporter mais sans jamais rester. Probablement plus une place où les gens sont des habitué ms et ne passent pas leur matinée à traîner devant un bol de café comme dans certains des autres cafés environnants. Le service était rapide.

I'm Celiac and it was really hard to find a place that's fully Gluten Free. I'm happy we have such a nice spot here in Kits. However, not all the pastries are good, most of them are mediocre, especially the savoury ones. And they cost a lot. But! Their Lemon loaf is the best I've ever had! It's perfectly moist and sweet, just amazing. And the bread is delicious when fresh. Hot chocolate is good too! The girls working there are very nice and kind! And I like the style of the cafe too, but honestly the design makes it look very old.

Can't speak for the baked goods but their savoury items were very good. Tried this place via the "too good to go" app. My $6 order included two hearty potato cheese and chicken crepes (dinner solved!). The crepes had just enough sweetness to compliment the delicious savoury filling. The person working the counter even threw in a GF cookie into the mix - what a nice touch! Appreciate their convenient pick-up time of 5-6pm.

I've heard of Panne Rico as I had a girlfriend who was a celiac. But as Im not analphaltic from eating dairy although it does sound like it when I have bronchitis as I'll cough non-stop for 8 hrs, I haven't made my way here. But being inspired to write a blog about fabulous dairy-free alternatives, this seemed like a place worth investigation. Although I prefer almond milk, they do lattes with rice milk which probably suits more of their clientele who might be allergenic to some form of nuts. Their baked goods aren't made with wheat but rice flour so usually don't have the same lightness and could possible be more dense, athough I didn't try everything as I can eat wheat. Chocolate Utopia - dairy free- even sans diary allergy this is a decadent tasting moist brownie with nuts, cranberry and rum and then dipped in chocolate. It was so good I bought one for breakfast another day Most of their muffins are dairy free. The best which I found was less dense was the carrot which they make with or without cream cheese. It was as delicious as any ones I've tasted with flour. Banana walnut wasn't bad but a little dense, but the flavor was there. White chocolate raspberry was too dense for my liking. Although it's a tiny cafe they offer a big variery of other baked goods such as cookies, macaroons, pies, scones, daily lunch menu, squares, etc. It was apparent while I was enjoying my dairy-free indulgences, that Panne Rico has an established base of regulars as a continual flow of people came through, many buying 2-3 dozen of their favorite baked goods. They do custom baking and apparently keep a log of customer's allergies for future reference as I overheard the cashier tell a customer that the baker would know what his daughter could have. Not all goods are dairy free, but they do have a large selection and if you're a celiac well thus is wheat-free heaven. As for me, I'm heading straight for the Chocolate Utopia

We were excited to hear about a gluten free bakery that had vegan options but once we got there we were very disappointed. There are only four vegan options: Blondie Brownie- super dry and tastes old, the pumpkin cookies- also dry and old but my daughter liked it enough to eat it, a vegan samosa that tasted like "old, spicy cardboard" and we have now toasted the Chia vegan bread and it is ok, my daughter is liking it enough to it for breakfast. I know it's challenging to make vegan food so we are grateful they are trying. Wasn't satisfying and hopefully they can make some better options for vegans. Super expensive too.

The little bakery that could. That could what, you ask? That could bring joy into the lives of gluten and dairy free peep's like me, for one thing. Today I had the very best carrot muffin I've had to date since being on the Celiac diet. Like a slice of real carrot cake it was. And there is also a chocolate one. I don't know what the rules are that determine what is a muffin and what is a cupcake, and I know I made a promise to myself not to indulge on cupcakes for a while. But when I spotted that beautiful "muffin" -and yes, it did have frosting on it., I lost control of my sensibilities once again. And the best and worst part is that low price. 2.85 --no way!... get outa here! Their chickpea rolls are still the best, which you can buy fresh or frozen, and now they also have cinnamon rolls and dairy free brownies. I could spend my last dollar in there trying one of everything. Fortunately for me I live on the other side of town. Addendum: The new bread they have, ("Sunrice") is insanely good. It's not dry, it's moist and springy like 'real' bread, only way more nutritious. Best non gluten, non dairy bread I've had in over 3 years. WOW. the only draw back for me is the price, 6.99 -eek! but a woman's gotta eat.

Small little cafe hidden in the mist of Kits. Very small but not hard to find . Ordered the Mac & Cheese and a gf brownie. I was a little scared when it came out of a plastic microwaveable container, but it was surprisingly tasty for a Mac and cheese (also gf) ! Great place to go if you need gluten free bakery or food items. They also carry some items that are dairy free as well so it's a great place to go if you know someone that has a dairy allergy too! Definitely will come back

Not the greatest g free bakery... its soooo expensive for what they offer. A lot of the food tastes old and was really bad. Hardly anything has a description of the ingredients.. so who knows whats in it. I had the 8$ dairy free trifle or whatever it was. So nasty, filled with fake flavouring and the gross cool whip. The samosas tasted old, dry and fell apart. At least the butter tart was good. Im not looking forward to going back.. I got the groupon and have one left :( Im sorry but 8$ for mac n cheese hahahaa no thanks. The guy at the counter was nice at least.. sorry but your prices need to change for the quality. Gluten free Epicurean and Cloud 9 guys!

We've been here three times within the last year and the sandwiches beat the GF sandwiches I've had in gluten-free eateries in northern California by price and portion. The full tuna sandwich was only $6.95, compared to one place in Davis that charges $9.95. Their facilities are completely gluten-free (hence the five stars). We have tried their tollhouse cookies, chocolate chip cookies, and a few other desserts. I will be back in a month and will make a special trip out here to get some cookies and treats. Vancouver needs more gluten-free eateries!
