This club has an old school hotel type of vibe that feels classy, comfortable, and relaxing. I've come here just to chill and have tea, and I've attended the annual gala. Food is mostly excellent, especially the seafood. The facility is clean and people are polite.

Have played squash several times at Terminal City Club (TCC). Membership isn't cheap ($6K/4.5K/1.2K initiation fee for over 35/34 and under/spouse plus $400 monthly fees). Good - 3 squash singles courts - Steam room and sauna - Billiards room, four lane lap pool and hot tub - Spacious patio area - Lions Pub (British fare) is attached in the club's basement. Mediocre food ($22.00 empire burger) Bad - Courts are humid and shorter in width than regulation. No benches or places to sit - Cramped gym and locker room - Guests have to be escorted by front desk staff to access the elevator - Expensive parking ($4.50 for 30 min, $15.00 after 6pm, $28.00 from 6am-6pm)

Service: 1/1 Atmosphere: 1/1 Food: 2.5/3 I've come here a few times as the guest of a member, and it definitely is a nice place to be. Top notch service, lovely atmosphere, and good food and drink! The staff really go above and beyond to provide the best service I've ever seen, and their BBQ Duck Spring Roll appy is absolutely wow! My complaints though are that their menu is very limited and never seems to change. I've been there about 4 times now over the course of a year and the food selection has been the same few items. As well, while all the items I've tried have definitely all been good, for the price I can point out other restaurants downtown that can serve it better. Though they do not quite hit the spot for amazing food quality or selection, Terminal City Club still makes for a good evening out so I'd recommend giving it a try if you have the opportunity!

We were invited to see club by a member. Table we booked in lounge we were bumped from. Then had very expensive dinner with multiple bottles wine finishing at 950 went for post drinking in lounge and told it was closed. This was Friday night. Why would I join club in vancouver where on a Friday night I cannot have a drink after 950. I would never join not worth the money.

Club only open for members, now with the COVID-19 felt much safer to dine in here. Food is always good, cozy environment with live band playing on the patio, great place to spend the evening with your friends. Service team is very caring and tentative, when heard it's our friend's birthday, they prepared a lovely macaron tray for us, so sweet! One negative thing is the parking, it's open for public, but without member's fob, you can't access the elevator, need to go all the way around the building to Get in. Also difficult to find the pay station, the tap at the gate is not working, made it so complicate for us to get out.

Came here for a Christmas party. Always wondered how this place would compare to Vancouver Club next door. Parking is horrendous here unless it's after 2200. There's a pay lot underground. The actual club is actually behind the Auberge Hotel lobby. A bit tricky for first-timers. Once past the hotel concierge desk, the club desk is on the R side. A bit farther in and one reaches the main foyer. As I was only here for a party, I did not get to tour the full facility. There are several banquet halls and a restaurant on 2F, as well as a nice large billiard room. On the ground floor, there is also a business centre, which must be useful when one needs to get some work done. The food is of fairly decent quality. I had a chance to try their various crackers and dip, cheese platter, raw oysters, roast beef sandwiches, and desserts. The quality is very similar to what one would find at most hotels of similar calibre. Drinks are overpriced, but again, that's expected. Overall, it's a nice classy space, with practical facilities. Now if only I can afford a membership.

A review for my wedding venue is long overdue, but wow.. the staff executed everything perfectly for my wedding day back in July 2016. I was being pretty picky on the reception location, but happily went with Terminal City, as their main ballroom was just gorgeous and had a beautiful view. They were able to accomodate 180 guests for a seated buffet dinner. There was a grand piano on the main floor, which was rolled into the main reception area, which was perfect as we had a pianist play during our first dance. The event planner sat down with me to go over the room plan, which can be made into separate rooms with dividers. That being said, they were able to set up a comfortable "bridal suite" where we could store any supplies, personal belongings, clothes, etc. We also had a private room where we could do a tea ceremony, while the rest of the guests were outside in the grand lobby and reception area for cocktail hour. The food was also just amazing - a few months before the wedding, the chef cooked up a few dishes from the menu for myself and my parents to sample, along with wine tastings. The food was cooked perfectly, and I was excited for the buffet service for the wedding night. I had added on some extras (prime rib carving station, and raw oysters). I also had 2 bottles of wine per table, which the cost per bottle was surprisingly reasonable compared to other restaurants. A few other things I appreciated: - we got a complimentary wedding suite for the night - there was special rates for guests staying at the hotel - servers went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. If something was out of place, I didn't notice - Although I allowed for 2 bottles of wine per table, there were unopened bottles left so they took off the remaining 10 bottles off the finall invoice, which was really honest of them (and it was something I wouldn't have bothered to keep track of) - they were kind to my other vendors, allowing for them to come back and collect their rental items the next morning rather than at midnight (ie: lights, chair covers) - everyone was very coordinated and their communication was spot on, making sure the tea ceremony room was quickly flipped over to the reception room, making sure everything was displayed and set out properly I thought that my picky parents might find something to complain about, but had nothing but good things to say! 8/5 - would definitely get married here again

A very good, well-located *private* club in downtown Vancouver. I've been a member here for just under a year and enjoyed the experience. We joined in large part for a better gym experience than the commercial gyms offered and TCC has not disappointed. While the gym isn't terribly large, it has a decent range of equipment, a great view, friendly staff and mostly civil clientele. The adjacent squash courts can make it a bit noisy. The skylit 25 m indoor pool and hot tub have a great view too and are a signature feature. The dining facilities are decent but could use better menu choices, especially in the Cuvée wine bar where a 2016 menu change removed some of the proper meal choices and added too many "odd" items. The fine dining restaurant 1892 is no longer open for dinner - a bit unfortunate since The Grill is a bit casual. That said, The Grill has a fantastic patio in good weather. The Lions Pub downstairs is very good and open to the public. The staff and service are excellent.

This is one of the most beautiful spaces in Vancouver. I usually come here for various functions and events as a guest and the food here has always been wonderful. As a guest of a member I've seen the billiards room and as a member of a business club have been to meetings in the various rooms in this building. The meeting rooms have that old world charm and one of my favorite things about this space is the shoe shine machine (which used to be in the men's room but is now found in the coat room.) I can't comment on the hotel as I have not stayed as a guest. But this place is 3 stars A-OK from everything I've experienced so far.

I've been a member here for just over a year, and joined primarily for the gym facilities. While not the most modern and best-equipped gym in the city, the experience is a different one: staff members remember you by name, fellow members are friendly, and the gym is never crowded. These are benefits that you don't see in other gyms in the city - in fact, some (which shall remain nameless) are quite the opposite. The gym space is slightly cramped, but people are courteous and there usually isn't a wait for equipment. A full swimming pool and hot tub are available for member use (both gym and pool are also available for use by guests of the neighbouring Auberge Hotel). TCC has made an effort to remain relevant to the modern world, and yet still retains its traditional charm. Wifi is offered for members throughout the club, and the former reading room has been converted into a quiet-space business centre. The lobby, members' lounge (billiards room) and three restaurants retain decor to be expected from a club established in the 19th century, though the building itself is more modern (from the late 90s). For courtesy, cell phone use is restricted, and there is a business casual dress code in all areas except for the gym. I enjoy the dining experience at Cuvee, the wine bar, the most - the restaurant offers minimal mark-up on bottle prices and included corkage. Unfortunately, their dinner menu has changed and the "old reliable" choices such as the cobb salad and club sandwich have disappeared, replaced by items considered more "haute cuisine." The fine dining restaurant, 1892, is now closed on weekday evenings, which is disappointing as it was a very enjoyable experience. The Grill has a very good brunch on weekends, with an outdoor deck in warmer weather that overlooks the Vancouver waterfront. The Lions Pub (open to the public) on the basement level offers good value for drinks and pub fare, but I have seen mice running around the floor on two occasions (and would hesitate to return). Membership is on the pricier side, but offers great exercise facilities, networking, dining and events. Apart from the minor things, it's been a great experience so far.
