Such a good deal for thai food! Amazing portions and cheap prices for really authentic thai food. Even if i'm not sitting down I love to order it for takeaway or pickup. My partner and I sat in and had pad see ew, pad kra prow, and a Thai iced milk tea. Everything was divine. The pad see ew had a lot of meat, eggs, and vegetables. The flavour was so good.. I could eat three dishes of this non-stop just to keep tasting it. I have nothing bad to say about it. The pad kra pow was too spicy for me, but it was still so good. I just avoided the chili seeds. Lots of meat -- the meat to rice ratio is basically 1:1. The flavour was phenomenal here too. The Thai iced milk tea was also great. Very sweet! Which is my preference. A great way to end the very umami meal. The service was good -- it's just counter service. It wasn't a particularly hot day, but it was quite hot in the restaurant. I can see it becoming unbearable during the summer, but it was fine for that day. Lots of tables inside.

There was twice as much fish last time that was steamed, however this time it was dried out and deep fried . After waiting 3 minutes as a senior customee was chit chatting to the 30+ yr old tattoo'd male cashier, I asked how much the small cups of tapioca was, however after the old woman snarled, " Thanks for interrupting our conversation and then told me to " shut up ", he became rude snatching the receipt away saying, " This is ours ! " I returned the tapioca and left, never to return ps Why are there two large containers of this in the men's washroom ? " Sodium hydroxide is strongly irritating and corrosive. It can cause severe burns and permanent damage to any tissue that it comes in contact with. Sodium hydroxide can cause hydrolysis of proteins, and hence can cause burns in the eyes which may lead to permanent eye damage...." "...What should never be used over sodium hydroxide? We will eat Thai food in excess of 25 times this year. this place, hands down, is the worst Thai food I have ever had. I ordered Pad Gra Prow which seems to have many different spellings. I do not profess to have any understanding of the Thai language but I have seen several versions of the naming of the dish which consists of your favorite protein, garlic, Thai basil, a spicy sauce, and an assortment of vegetables that may include onions, carrots, peppers, pea pods, or broccoli. I received what looked like rice a roni - the San Francisco treat. The only reason they are getting one star is because it was spicy. Otherwise, I had no idea what I was eating besides a brown rice concoction with not a vegetable in sight. We ordered the Mango with sticky rice that was next to tasteless. I threw it in the trash as it wasn't worth the calories. I ordered 2 large orders of white rice to go. When I got home, I opened the boxes of rice and was shocked at how little rice was there. Perhaps between the two Large orders combined, it might have been as much as a small order of white rice from anywhere else. I was surprised as the portion of gruel served to me as an entree was plentiful, if nothing else!

I was able to visit Thai Basil recently and it was probably some of the best Thai food I've ever had. The staff greeted us and we were able to be seated right away. You can order at the counter and pay in advance for ease. I loved the restaurants atheistic. The wall decorations gave off a welcoming/homey feel without being too cluttered. I ordered the yellow curry, a milder spiced curry with potatoes, topped with fried onions, and cilantro. It had such a beautiful balance of heat and flavour. I was very impressed and would 100% order this dish again. It was that good. They were able to accommodate my friend's dietary needs (they are gluten-free). I'm excited to go back and eat here again. There are plenty of other dishes that looked delicious.

I have been here a couple of times during Covid. Both times I was not disappointed. I love their curry dishes (red curry with tofu) with just the right kick of spiciness. Look for their daily specials written on the chalk board. Make sure you check out their lunch specials from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm. They use authentic ingredients as I could taste the lemongrass. You can add either chicken, beef, tofu, or seafood to your selection. They now offer dining inside with a few tables. Unfortunately I have been too full to try their mango and sticky rice dessert. Some day soon! If you ever have a hankering for Thai food, this is the place!

Great food at great prices. Not fancy but just good Thai food at really reasonable prices. We have gone through most of the menu and have not yet found anything we don't like. One of our go tos and would recommend.

Came here with friends, eating out on a rainy day. Ordered their pad Thai. CHEF KISS DELICIOUS. Their pad Thai is sooo good always craving it but too lazy hahaha. Recommend getting pad Thai if it's your first time. I've only gotten that because I'm a picky eater. Their ice Thai tea is good too, taste like chocolate milk if you ask me. Around $3-4 for a small cup when ordering to go but an average cup if your eating there. The Table kind of sticky tho.

Got the chicken cashew ($9.95 lunch special) that came with a salad. Have no idea what dressing was on the salad, but it was tasty. You get a good portion of food for what you're paying. I did like the sauce on the chicken cashew, but I think it would've been better if the chicken was marinated in it as well. Tried the chicken satay as well. The peanut sauce was good and made in house I'm assuming. Overall, pretty quick and friendly service.
