Absolutely superb! Came here with my partner on a Sunday night. We made a reservation because we knew we wanted to come here. Really cozy and friendly atmosphere with great food and lovely staff. As a tourist, I got the sense we were amongst many regulars, enjoying a nice meal over wine with their loved ones :).

We sincerely enjoyed everything we had, which was the ravioli appetizer, the fois gras, mussels in marinière (half portion, still 1 pound so plenty!), cassoulet, and the crème brûlée. The cassoulet was our absolute favorite - so fresh and absolutely delicious. The duck meat fell right off the bone and was seasoned so perfectly. We savored every bite.

The staff was so kind they gave us complimentary glasses of amaretto to enjoy with our crème brûlée. Merci beaucoup!  We can’t wait to come back!!

I loved this little spot. They have all you can mussels on Wednesday night, which was a great surprise. Our server, megan, was great! Owned by two chefs. The chicken was so so so good, almost sweet. However, I would skip the tartare next time. It was a bit fishy for me. The only “complaint” I can think of. Would love to visit again!

If you want to be treated like family, while eating some of the best food in Quebec City, do not hesitate to book a table here. The quality of the food is incredible, the chef, Phil, is so talented and so warm. Definitely a night my husband and I will always remember.

Food was alright, restaurant was very tiny. Sitting by the fireplace, even though it wasn’t on, smelled horrible. There were also two employees sitting at the table behind us that were obviously extremely sick, and coughing everywhere. Our server let us know the one person was the owner. It was so disgusting that we asked to move to a different table. We were first denied that, and after almost leaving, they let us move tables. So gross, will not return after that experience.

Wonderful experience at this restaurant and the food was very tasty.

We ordered the French onion soup (quite a big serving for the starter size), tuna tartare, the seafood stew (amazing!) and the apple tart (so big we couldn't finish it). I would definitely order the soup again and the beef cheek looked amazing too!

The food was delicious and we were definitely not hungry after this meal! Service was impeccable and food came out quickly.

Fantastisk plats lite utanför turist slagen väg. Förmodligen den bästa Tartiflette jag någonsin haft. Andra rätter var också utmärkt. Intressant vinlista. Bra service. Bra atmosfär, som en intim typ av avslappnad plats. Älskade det.

Efter att ha besökt området & museet, gick vi tillbaka i hällregnet när vi kom över denna restaurang. Det var tidig kväll & trots de många bokningar vi märkte senare, de sa att de kunde rymma oss för en tidig kvällsmåltid. Den unga damen som tjänade oss var trevlig, uppmärksam, kunnig och svarade på varje fråga vi hade. En pärla som fick dig att känna att du var på en personlig matupplevelse. Sen maten. Wow. Jag har slut på adjektiv. Tack för den mest njutbara måltid av vår vistelse i Quebec.

Vi åt en tidig middag på Bistro Street. Malo som ligger i Basse Ville delen av Gamla Quebec. Istället för en mysig och ljus fylld matsal som visas i gatan. Malos bilder på hemsidan, vi satt i ett svagt upplyst slitet och dammigt rum med dollarsedlar häftade på väggarna. Vi beställde en liten löksoppa ($ 11 /$ 16 ) och Gratin Snails ($ 14 ) som förrätt. Till våra förrätter beställde vi Confit Duck Leg (35 dollar) och Cassoulet (39 dollar). Middagen började illa när vår servitris ställde ner en stor löksoppa - när jag påpekade att jag hade beställt en liten skål förnekade hon starkt sitt misstag och gick sedan oförskämt iväg i en pust. Vi förväntade oss en klassisk escargoträtt tillagad med olivolja och vitlök och toppad med lättrostat brödsmulor - istället var det skalade sniglar täckta med ett tjockt täcke av knappt smält ost. Ankbenet i confit-ankförrätten var torrt, trådigt och för salt. Vi njöt av de läckra vita bönorna och grönsakerna i den rejäla cassouleten men inte den mjuka mossiga korven. Det confiterade ankbenet var bättre i den brottriga cassouleten. För nybörjare i Quebec – notera att din faktura kommer att återspegla två statligt påförda avgifter – TVQ (provinsiell omsättningsskatt i Quebec) och TPS (federal skatt på varor och tjänster) som kommer att lägga till nästan 15 % på din totala faktura. Dessa avgifter är inte i stället för din dricks som beräknas på maten totalt bara.

Bästa skaldjursgrytan någonsin. Den har ett Franskt namn, men jag minns inte. Älskar kusten så den säger något som jag ger den rekvisita.

Maten var mycket bra men Servicen var slumpmässig. Vi beställde Franska löksoppa som förrätt men vi serverades den stora portionen. Kassoulen var utmärkt. Patén var för dyr, serverad på en kokplatta och så var smältning och det fanns inte tillräckligt med brioche toast serveras - för $ 27 ! ! ! ! Ett glas rött vin serverades istället för vitt och den korrigerade serveringen var en dålig åtgärd. Kommer inte att återvända.

Maten var bra med undantag för öknen. Det var ett hårstrå på toppen. Jag påpekade IT för servitören. Han tog bort IT och tog med en till. Jag blev förvånad över att IT fortfarande stod på räkningen. Plus chipits kastades på toppen. Tacky som fan. En liten klick vispgrädde hade varit mycket mer lockande. Jag kan säga att tonfisktartaren var jättebra och jag älskade picklessalladen. Men tyvärr förstörde håret i min creme bruele IT för mig.

De var slut på paella och glutenfria kex är unkna för att peka på att vara oätliga, beställd kyckling kom nötkött, sallad är mest söta pickles

Läckra hus specialitet - nötkött kind. Nötkött höll på att falla sönder med lyftet av min gaffel, såsen var fantastisk och potatismoset med ost och Larson var mumsigt. Vi parade ihop med La Cantina rödvin från Quebec. Perfekt. Mysig atmosfär. Trevlig servicepersonal. Tack så mycket!

Var ska jag börja? Vi åt middag med ett annat par på en vacker kväll. Vi satt utanför och bjöds på några av de finaste mat någon av oss har haft på evigheter. Bland beställningarna vid vårt bord: Escargot, löksoppa, Caesarsallad, grönsallad, Oso Bucco, Cassoulet och Carbonara "Phil. " För öken: Creme brulee, syrlig tennburk och ostkaka. Phil är kocken och han lagar maten och öknen. Han är en skatt. Quebec City har sin andel av medelmåttig löksoppa. Phils löksoppa är transcendent. Tillverkad med kalvkött, lagren av smak är djupa och rika. Cassoulet innehöll smälta - i - din mun anka med en rik gryta av bönor, korv och träiga örter. Jag skulle kunna fortsätta med många stycken, men du fattar. Inte en enda miss i alla våra måltider. Maten är kulturell resa genom traditionella Quebec, men lätt upphöjd till fina restauranger. Stämningen är ändå allt annat än kinkig. Casual kul och kulinarisk spännande. Vår server, Florens, var förtjusande. Kunnig om menyn, kul, och verkade genuint glad att engagera sig med oss. Vi snubblade över denna bedårande bistro ungefär en timme innan den stängde. Ett par som kommer ut berättade att vi definitivt bör gå in eftersom maten var enastående. Vi gjorde och ägare och kock, Camille och Phil, och hela teamet på denna restaurang gjorde ingen besviken. Från den livliga interaktionen med sina kunder till den enastående och unika menyn, hade vi en matupplevelse som vi länge kommer att minnas. Vi kommer att vara säker på att återvända och kommer också att rekommendera denna bistro till alla vänner som reser genom Quebec City. Missa inte denna lilla pärla.

Jag älskade denna restaurang. Vår servitris var mycket trevlig och restaurangen har en trevlig atmosfär till det. Maten var enastående. Fransk löksoppa med ost som kaskad nerför sidan av skålen - mums! Första gången jag äter nötköttkind - så mört! De medföljande grönsakerna kokades perfekt. Tarte Tatin till efterrätt. Underbar smak. Dricker däremot, äckligt! Jag åt den värsta amaretto sour och den sämsta kir jag någonsin ätit. Hur kan du förstöra en kir? Jag drack dem men njöt inte av dem. Det kanske var en ny bar den kvällen.

Min son och jag besökte och provade denna plats på vår första natt i Quebec City. Vi provade den franska löksoppan, gåslever, tonfisktartartaren, musslorna och cassouleten (ja vi var hungriga) Maten var utsökt, platsen underbara och mysiga men mestadels tjänsten var otroligt vår servitör Zac var genuint så uppmärksam och omtänksam och gav oss stor rekommendation. Det var en glädje middag där

Alltid ett bra val. Fantastisk meny, men ännu viktigare, SUPER bra utfört. Maten är alltid fantastisk. Servicen är också bra och mysig. definitivt värt ett besök. Var min tredje gång och kommer att gå tillbaka igen.

Bodde runt hörnet från gatan Malo, så lätt att pop in för lunch. Utrymmet i sig är mysigt med ca 6 bord och en liten disk. Maten här kan bäst beskrivas som fransk komfort. Vi provsmakade den franska löksoppan, utsökt med lite gåslever vid sidan av. Hade även burrata, potatispurjolökssoppa och vitlök/vitvinsmusslor med pommes frites. Megane vår server var vänlig och hjälpsam. Ett fint litet fynd i norra änden av stan.

Utmärkt mat. Engagerande och tillmötesgående personal. Bra miljö. Skaldjursgryta och nötköttkind är fantastiskt. Precis som glassen och crème brûlée.
