One of our favourite places in Québec City. We came Chez Rioux & Pettigrew two years in a row to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The first year, we did the blind menu (chef’s choice), everything was amazing. This time, we ordered from the menu and once again everything was amazing! The food, the service and the ambiance are all delightful. A truly phenomenal experience. Reservations are highly recommended!

We came here to celebrate my sister's birthday and wow! Everything was perfect. We chose to have the meal experience paired with wine. Each course was a surprise and elequantly designed/presented. Each bite was delightful and the wine pairing was just as spectacular. My sister and I had such a wonderful time and really enjoyed not only the food but also the ambiance of the space and thoughtfulness of our waiters. Thank you for such a magnificent evening!

Phenomenal experience! This was our favourite restaurant during our trip with friends. The food was delicious, and so flavourful. Each dish is so unique and special. Especially the red pepper dessert, and sweet potato gnocchi. Very cozy inside, and the service is great. They describe each dish that arrives at your table. We can’t wait to come back for our next visit!!

This place was incredible! The atmosphere was very cozy and it was overall a very cool place. We did the tasting menu which is 4 courses of surprise meals and each can be paired with a glass of wine. Every single one was outstanding. I would 100% come here again.

We had our last dinner in Quebec City here. The atmosphere gets you immediately. Warm and welcoming and rustic. It's worth it just to sit in the place. The wait staff were all super friendly (albeit a little leisurely with service, which is a decidedly Quebecois thing) and the food was good. Must hers are the homemade bread and the scallop crudo. Those were incredible. Everything else we had (oysters, squash ravioli, and hanger steak) were very good. A pricey meal but not outrageous.

Otrolig upplevelse! Mat, Service och atmosfär var alla enastående! Du kan äta en 4-rätters meny eller ala carte. Vi valde våra egna kurser så att vi kunde prova mer. Vår server var fantastisk och mycket hjälpsam i våra val.

Vi tog en Uber från skeppet. Vi gick lätt och säkert tillbaka till fartyget. Nästa gång skulle vi gå åt båda hållen. Vår server var Jade och hon gjorde ett bra jobb med att förklara menyalternativen. Vi var inte djärva nog att prova kockens val, 5 rätters erbjudande, med vinparningar. Menyn har en Engelska version för oss som inte läser eller talar Franska. Vi delade ostbrickan som förrätt. Mycket färska jordgubbar och blåbär med olika ostar, med några mycket trevliga focaccia. Risottorätten och koljan var båda utmärkta. Vi var mätta, så vi tackade nej till de underbara desserterna. Måltiden var mycket rimligt tempo. Vi var ganska tidiga för att passa den dagens schema och inom en timme var stället fullt. Reservationer uppmuntras. Priserna är i kanadensiska på menyn och mycket rimligt

Jag känner att jag är mycket erfaren på att laga hälleflundra. De flesta restauranger över koka det. Jag såg fram emot att äta hälleflundra på Chez Rioux. När våra måltider anlände kunde jag se att hälleflundran inte var tillagad och även rå i mitten. Man kan bli ganska sjuk om fisken inte tillagas ordentligt. Till chefens ära tittade han på den och sa utan vidare diskussion att han skulle skaffa mig en till. Men så satt min älskling där med en måltid som började bli kall. När den andra måltiden kom, den här gången var det verkligen överkokt. Måltiden var väl presenterad men saknade en smaklighet jag hade hoppats på.

Vi välkomnades varmt in i den härliga matsalen. Det spelades mjuk musik i bakgrunden och även om de flesta borden var upptagna, var de tillräckligt långt ifrån varandra för att ljudet av samtal aldrig var påträngande, bara varmt och behagligt. Vår server var utmärkt; vänlig och kunnig om maten och vinet. Våra måltider var sensationella; svamprisotton var av denna värld och hälleflundran ovanligt och härligt smakrik. Rummet är bekvämt och charmigt, och jag kan inte vänta med att gå tillbaka.

Kreativa och välsmakande rätter med innovativa kombinationer av ingredienser, många från Quebec. Informell miljö i före detta butik med uppmärksam Service från personal som är kunnig om menyn.

Wow vilken strålande restaurang! Avsmakningsmeny med överraskningsrätter är rätt väg att gå. Servicen var uppmärksam men inte påträngande.

Platsen är unik. IT var en gång en General Store och har behållit den eklektiska coola vibben. Servicen var utmärkt och maten var fantastisk. Bra värde också.

Besviken. Ganska inställning men dålig service (det var appox. 90 minuter innan vi serverades förrätter) . och intetsägande måltider. Båda måltiderna lät underbara men serverades på en bädd av okända purégrönsaker som gjorde måltiden smaklös. Vinlistan var för dyr och erbjöd få vita vinval i under $ 125 sortimentet.

För en middag Quebéc stil, bokade jag en fantastisk Michelin nämnda restaurang, Chez Rioux & Pettigrew. Det var en bit promenad från vårt hotell, men mitt val var perfekt. Restaurangen är så mysig och charmig! Det är utanför - den - slagna vägen, vilket uppenbarligen är en stor sak. Bokningar krävs. Vår server, Catherine, var mycket hjälpsam och hennes varma gästfrihet lagt till en hel del till vår middag. Vi ville inte äta så mycket en så varm dag, så vi delade på två förrätter, tog två glas uppfriskande Beaujolais Blanc och en gemensam dessert, som har kommit direkt från himlen 😊. För aptitretare beställdes dessa två: VIE TEL L'EAU QUAND IL TONNE TÔT Quebec grain - utfodrad kalvkött carpaccio, tonfiskmajonnäs, spenatpuré, örtolja, Bella Lodi ostspån, inlagd rödlök, lönnsirap och cidervinäigrette, marinerat vaktelägg, groddar BEAUTÉ DE MARBRE Marmorerad gåslever med Banyuls, peppar och torkade jordgubbar, naturlig jordgubbspuré, ingefäragelé med Camy verjuice, Banyuls chutney, pulver, jordgubbschips och kakel, honungskaka valnöt, hemlagad brioche rostad i olivolja, citronmeliss. Låter ganska komplicerat, eller hur? Jo, jag är ett stort fan av gåslever och hade det i Frankrike många gånger, men denna marmorerade gåslever var verkligen något annat. Min man var mycket nöjd med sin kalv carpaccio också (det var fenomenalt, jag provade det) . Och till efterrätt delade vi den här: FRAISINETTE Karamelliserad krispig smördeg, färska jordgubbar, citron - basilika mascarpone grädde, krossade jordgubbar, syrlig jordgubbsgel, citron och basilikagel, krispig smula, naturlig jordgubbssorbet. Om detta inte är himmelskt, då vet jag inte vad som är. Vår totala faktura var mycket rimligt CAD 144 med dricks. En middag att minnas ömt.

Jag är en kock och blev mycket förvånad över hur bra denna plats var. Jag var på tisdagskväll och det var fullsatt server. Benjamin var en absolut raring. Han gav mig en bra genomgång på menyn jag hade foi gra Och hummerrisotto Servicen var fantastisk. Maten var en åh herregud. Missa inte det här stället

Jag firade min födelsedagslunch på Chez Rioux & Pettigrew, och det var en sådan njutning. Atmosfären var snygg, mysig och full av karaktär – perfekt för ett speciellt tillfälle. Maten var vackert presenterad och sprudlande av smak. En utsökt och minnesvärd matupplevelse i Quebec City som vi alla grundligt haft!

En upplevelse som inte får missas. Från atmosfären till personalen till utsökt mat, en stjärnklar utekväll. Avsmakningsmenyn och vinparningar var det bästa vi har haft på mycket länge.

Vi var glada över att komma för att äta här, maten var enastående, servicen oklanderlig, och atmosfären mycket välkomnande. Min fru är vegetarian och hade flera alternativ att välja mellan. Servrarna weee mycket kunniga och beskrev varje maträtt i detalj. Det rekommenderades till oss av vänner och kommer definitivt att rekommendera till andra. Det enda konstiga var att du var tvungen att passera genom ett fungerande kök för att komma till vårt bord, lite märkligt.

Detta var en riktigt bra kväll, med en superb middag. Middagen utmärkt. Menyn var spännande och gjorde det svårt att välja bara en Förrätt. Servicen var förstklassig. Och atmosfären var så avkopplande. En underbar kväll. Rekommenderar starkt en kväll här.
