I stumbled upon this restaurant while walking behind the hotel and ended up having brunch there—it was so good that I made a reservation for dinner too. The food was delicious and fresh, and the plating was great, and friendly staffs! The dinner menu portions are a bit small, so needed to order many dishes. Overall, I think brunch is the better option. Plus, if you dine in a get a coffee, you get one time refill for free.

My partner and I found this restaurant while on a walk and I’m so glad we did! We stopped in on a Monday afternoon and they were serving their brunch and lunch menus.  It was relatively quiet with a few tables filled with folks on business lunches or casual hang outs.

We sat down right away and I asked if they had iced tea, to which our incredible server replied, “no, but I can make one!” and then proceeded to make the most delicious and refreshing beverage!  Everything we had was absolutely fantastic and it ended up being one of our favorite meals in the city. The Çilbir had the most fresh and delicious garlic yogurt with chickpeas roasted to perfection. The poached eggs and yogurt made it easy to scoop up the chickpeas for a full and delicious bite. I’ll be dreaming about this for a long time.  Somehow this was only $13 CAD as well!

The tartiflette was also amazing. I wanted to drink the sauce right out of the bowl. The bacon was thick and flavorful. The homemade focaccia was…perfect. Loved the butter.

The deviled eggs were so incredibly tasty. The fried chicken skin on top was the perfect addition for texture and well-seasoned.

HIGHLY recommend coming here. We can’t wait to come back!

Absolute gem of a restaurant with delicious food, friendly service, and quaint atmosphere.  Menu items are unique and prepared perfectly with fresh ingredients.  Definitely recommend reservations, especially on weekends, in order to ensure you get to experience Le Hobbit.

Very good service, we went for Valentine's Day. They had a special tasting menu for that day. Skipping the tasting menu, we order "a la carte". We had 2 appetizers, Brie cheese with "tartinade de figues", which was very good, and the Duck Tartare. That second plate wasn't very good, it lacked flavor.
For the main course we ate Boudin (blood sausage) and "Encornet braisé", which is a mix of Calamari with Snails and foie gras. The boudin was good and the encornet was very flavorful. That last one was a taste I really can't compare to anything, but very good.
I recommend this place, the whole team is very knowledgeable about the dishes and the service is impeccable.

Le Hobbit was a lovely restaurant but my wife and I found our three dishes to be quite bland. The portions were so small that we ended up at a nearby crepe shop just to have a full stomach.
For the price paid, I would’ve liked to have left with a better experience.

Min fru åt ankbröst med jordgubbe i en sås som man skulle dö för. Missa inte jordnötssmör foie gra som förrätt. Jag åt öringen som var fantastisk och vi toppade med en fantastisk dessert som jag inte kan namnge men vi provade bara för sjutton. Vibe är mycket Välkomnande och Silvi vår server kunde inte ha varit mer älskvärd. Hon erbjöd oss ett extra glas vin på grund av det faktum att vår huvudrätt var försenad. Detta var en fantastisk upplevelse värdig deras utnämning av Michelin . Förhoppningsvis får de sin stjärna! Skulle inte missa denna plats när du besöker

Ställ i baren äta middag med Lou. Det var utmärkt bra bröd bra vin. Bra priser och brödet var färskt och vackert.

En måltid att minnas i vackra Quebec City - perfekt från början till slut på alla sätt, från det varma välkomnandet vid ankomsten, den vänliga, unstuffy Service, och den exceptionella maten (morot beigne med ricotta var utsökt! ). Le Hobbit är väl - förtjänar sin Michelinstjärna och har mycket rimliga priser för mat av denna kvalitet. Rekommenderas starkt!

Loves Le Hobbit. Vi kommer att 100 % komma igen när i Quebec City. Personalen var bra, hjälpsam och på punkt. Maten var utsökt. Menyn var kreativ och hade några frukost basvaror för e les äventyrliga som min fru. Spanska potatisar var fantastiska tillsammans med korv och sjöborreröra. . Mycket trevlig enkel inredning med inne och ute sittplatser. Jag rekommenderar en bokning i förväg 5 Starr hela vägen.

En kort bit från huvudvägen men väl värt vandringen Hobbit är en restaurang med ett omnämnande i Michelinguiden fördelat på två små rum som visar samtida konst. IT gör också en grym frukost där de vi valde stod ut med en nästan perfekt omelett med sjöborre kombinerat med en Engelska muffins toppad med getost och gräslök. Laxgravlax med lök och örtscone, sparriskräm och mullekaviar kom en nära sekund. En ”total” frukost med bacon, skinka, korv och äggröra sveks något av en hög potatis som kokades i deras skinn.

OTROLIGT UNDERBART. Vår server var över förväntan i vänlighet, kunskap och rekommendationer. Menyn är liten men väl genomtänkt med en mycket trevlig variation. Vi åt nötköttstartar, rädissallad och hälleflundra. Alla var perfekta med bra smaker och portionsstorlek. Enda besvikelsen var morotsmunken med ricottaost. Munken var torr och smaklös men osten var helt underbar.

Vi hade läst om denna restaurang och var glada IT prova det. Vi beställde en flaska Rose och de kom tillbaka och sa att de inte hade IT. Vi beställde en annan ros och de kom tillbaka och sa att de inte hade det heller. En i vårt parti hade några dietrestriktioner som servern inte verkade förstå och inte var särskilt villig att tillmötesgå. Deras meny uppgav att de hade veganska alternativ men de var slut på dem också. Maten vi slutligen gjorde beställning var mycket bra men upplevelsen var inte alls som den utmärkta Service som beskrevs i många av recensionerna. Skulle inte rekommendera eller återvända.

Fenomenalt läcker frukost. Vi njöt verkligen av våffla och jordgubbskonserver samt ratatouille gastronomi skål.

Vårt sällskap på tre hade en trevlig middag på denna avslappnade gård till bord restaurang. Vi hade gnudi till att börja med (vi hade bättre gnudi på en annan restaurang i Quebec) , detta var för tungt och gummy. Till huvudrätt åt vi tomahawk fläskkotlett, Coquille Saint Jacques och ankan. Alla var mycket bra. Till efterrätt åt vi macaron au chocolate. Du måste gilla mint. Om det finns saker som du gillar på menyn rekommenderar jag IT.

ENASTÅENDE mat, atmosfär, service och råd! Jenny är en juvel och hjälpte oss att välja vår mat och vin. Mycket uppmärksam. Atmosfären var härlig, vädret perfekt att äta utomhus eller inne med öppna fönster. Perfekta människor tittar på möjligheter! Om jag bodde här skulle jag vara där HELA tiden!

Bra mat, omfattande vinlista, utmärkt service och mysig atmosfär. Jag missar aldrig en chans att gå om jag är i Quebec City, och alltid rekommendera det till familj och vänner!

Unikt och utsökt kombinerat med utmärkt service. Vår server Enrique var personlig, informativ och effektiv. Ren och bekväm atmosfär förbättrar en otrolig matupplevelse.

Detta är det enda stället vi åkte till två gånger denna semester. En gång för brunch och en gång för middag. ÄLSKADE båda måltiderna. Platsen är populär och upptagen, (det fanns en väntan på att komma in för brunch, vi gjorde en reservation för middag) . Men servrarna kände sig aldrig stressade när de hade att göra med oss. Maten var utmärkt båda gångerna. Om du är orolig att namnet antyder att det är gimmicky, är det INTE. Det är mycket god mat och en avslappnad men elegant atmosfär med mycket bra service. Om vi var tillbaka i Quebec City, skulle vi gå igen. Bilderna är från brunchen.

Kom in på vårt hotell sent, så bestämde mig för att ta lite att äta i närheten. Hittade denna franskinspirerade restaurang inom 10 minuters gångavstånd. Vi beställde Scallop Crudo till förrätt och Fläsklejon och Biff till huvudrätt plus 2 glas vin från Frankrike. #Scallop Crudo var god och fräsch med körsbärstomater och gurkor. #Grislejon är lite på den torra sidan, med plommon, nötter, skapade en intressant smak i munnen. #Biffen var mycket god, jag beställde medium, biffen är mör, men jag borde ha beställt medium rare. Såsen var god, jag tycker det är balsamvinägrettsås. Atmosfären på restaurangen var stor och inredningen är modern med en liten öppen bar när du går in och en vik att hänga din kappa och jacka bredvid ingången. Servicen var mycket bra, servern var trevlig och hjälpsam. En mycket bra upplevelse överlag.

Fantastisk mat och en kreativ meny. Värd och personal kunde inte ha varit mer uppmärksam. Rekommenderar starkt deras syn på Eggs Benedict. Om du går för helg brunch rekommenderar jag att göra en reservation.
