What a fabulous way to start our vacation in Quebec City! We were so happy to find a vegan restaurant a short walk from where we’re staying. The atmosphere is fun and cozy. Our server was friendly and helpful, always available and quick to serve. And the food…INCREDIBLE! Our appetizers, main courses, and dessert were all perfect. So delicious. We also enjoyed two fo their signature cocktails. We will definitely go back again before we leave to try some of the other dishes.

What a fantastic vegan dining experience! Our server, Laurence, was exceptionally skilled—effortlessly juggling multiple roles, from hosting and taking orders to serving food, making drinks, and, most importantly, staying impressively prompt. We were seated near the kitchen and had the pleasure of observing the smooth, calm energy in the space, which seemed to infuse our meal. The artichoke dip was prepared to perfection, so velvety that the layers peeled away effortlessly. The burrito bowl, with its delicious blend of jackfruit and other ingredients, was a delightful surprise. For dessert, the Gateau Don was a heavenly combination of cashews and berries. Paired with the relaxed vibe, impeccable service, and an excellent choice of music, this was a truly memorable experience.

Fantastic food, light atmosphere- wonderful service.  Fully bilingual which helped us bumbling with our French.  Warm and friendly service.  Large menu with a great, daily lunch deal and delicious cocktails.  The portions here are quite generous!  As someone that is omnivorous, the Caesar salad was fantastic!  The mushroom risotto, creamy with a sharp cheese accent and warm peppery aftertaste.  The Donplings, crisy exterior and juicy flavour with a tangy, mildly sweet dip is another appetizer I recommend.  The pad Thai was also impressive in serving size (we ended up w take away for our leftovers).  The flavours in the pad Thai and the tofu- the fried tofu!  SO good!  Fresh herbs and vegetables mixed in with this is amazing!  Will definitely go back to try more of their menu items and delicious cocktails!

Our first stop in Quebec City and the lunch was on point! Knowing everything is vegan made it hard to decide (so many great options) so as we sipped our delicious cocktails, our waiter showed us the combo of the most popular items and we got the gnocchi on the side. Everything was delicious & the art in the space adds to the vibe.

Vi stannade till första gången och tog en drink och ett mellanmål. Kronärtskocksdippen är toppen! Sen föreslog vi att vi skulle äta middag med två andra par ett par kvällar senare och glömma att det var veganskt. Vi bestämde oss för att äta här oavsett och det ändrade mitt intryck av vegansk mat. Alla har haft sina förrätter och vi skulle definitivt återvända. Det är ett bra ställe att ta en drink utanför på en trevlig eftermiddag.

Ett av de få veganska ställen att äta vi hittade. I Kanada. Min fru hade en mycket trevlig gnocchi maträtt och jag hade en underwhelming pad Thai.

Bästa vegetariska måltid vi har haft. Åt soppa, huvudmål och dessert. En cocktail och två öl. Servicen var snabb, vänlig och effektiv. Mittemot Port Royal där vi bodde så lätt att komma åt.

Detta är förmodligen den bästa restaurangen i Lower Town. Skippa alla dessa dyra, giftiga, köttätande platser och gå över hit för en fantastisk måltid som är fräsch, läcker och hälsosam. Fråga efter Catherine och säg att Pradeep skickade dig. Hon är den vänligaste, sötaste, någonsin leende person du kommer att träffa i QC.

Fantastiskt. Teamet var vänliga och mycket kunniga. Ett brett utbud av alternativ för alla cravings. Roliga drinkar, mocktails och cocktails. Maten var fantastisk.

Bra ställe för middag i den gamla hamnen i Quebec - som gränsar till Petit Champlain Quarter - utmärkt vegansk mat, med massor av val och smaker - skulle rekommendera Pad Thai och Burrito Bowl - samt en cocktail

Med så få veganska alternativ i Quebec kan jag förstå varför de tar ut en premie men Servicen var bra och vänlig och snabb och maten, även om små portioner, var utsökt. Det är i en trevlig och lugnare del av gamla stan, värt ett besök.

Vi bokade på samma dag, mest för att min flickvän (som inte är vegan) var sugen på något färskt och inte stekt efter två veckors resa genom Kanada. Jag brukar undvika helt veganska ställen så hon har alternativ, men jag är så glad att vi gjorde ett undantag. Maten här var inte bara färsk, det var det bästa vi hade under hela resan. Efter två veckors ätande ute i Toronto, Kingston, Montreal och Quebec stod denna måltid ut med en mil. Varje rätt - förrätt, huvudrätt och dessert - var fenomenal. Vi funderar även på att komma tillbaka för vår sista kväll. Servicen var lika imponerande, med genomtänkta rekommendationer i hela. Så många restauranger serverar liknande rätter, men denna plats erbjuder något annorlunda. Du kommer inte att ångra det.

Bra mat för både veganer och icke - veganer lika! Cool vibe - trevlig uteservering. Bra service - menyer på både franska och engelska.

Jag åt Pad Thai och den var jättegod. Det var en stor portion, mycket gott och gott. Servicen var också bra. Jag skulle definitivt komma tillbaka till denna restaurang

Vi firade vår årsdag på Don Vegan och kunde inte ha varit mer nöjda med vårt val! Jag lät dem veta att det var vår årsdag och den uppmärksamma och välkomnande servitrisen väntade med gratis glas champagne. Det var bara början. Därefter var vinet perfekt för tillfället, inte för tungt, men smakrikt. Det verkliga nöjet var våra middagar. Jag åt Duo bolognese och caesar, som var spaghetti bolognese med caesarsallad, med mandelricotta. Jag var helt enkelt av denna värld, bra! Jag var tvungen att fråga hur de fick det att smaka bättre än kött. Min fru hade Fettuccine med svamp, som innehöll shiitakes, portobellos, kungsostron och ostronsvamp. Hon tyckte också att det var toppen. Den riktiga godbiten var dessert, som vi sällan får, men hej det var vår årsdag och det måste vara bra, eftersom allt hittills var fantastiskt. Vi hade en chokladkaka att dela med oss av och den var helt underbar. Jag är laktosintolerant, så det är en sådan njutning att få vegansk mat som är så utsökt god. Vi älskade allt om Don Vegan.

Efter en lång dag av resa Don Vegan var en underbar hitta, särskilt som det var en mycket upptagen lördag kväll. Vi fick känna oss super - välkommen, vibe, service, meny och mat var enastående. Maten var helt utsökt och jag måste säga att det var länge sedan jag var på en restaurang som såg till att våra vin- och vattenglas fylldes på utan att fråga. Riktigt bra service, tack. Undrar redan om vi kan gå på brunch imorgon!

Åt middag (min var gegga och blomkål med Panko var bra också d) gick tillbaka för brunch... Laurence, krubban, lovade att göra det rätt för min fru (hennes pad Thai var inte så bra) Vi kom tillbaka på söndagen och vi behandlade oss mer än älskvärt — båda brunch plockar var utsökt — i själva verket min veganska version av ägg Benedict var enastående bra min frus tofuröra var god och boveteplätten med lönnsirap var perfekt, rekommenderar starkt att komma hit! !

Var ska vi börja då. Laurence chefen var fantastisk. Blomkålen var en stor hit. Pad Thai var inte som förväntat men Laurence kom till undsättning genom att ta bort det från räkningen och fråga om hon kunde skicka oss hem med någon måltid som vi väljer. Eftersom vi inte accepterade hennes vänliga erbjudande sa hon om du återvänder jag kommer att ge en måltid av vår på huset. Hennes ord var gott som guld när vi återvände några dagar senare för en annan hälsosam måltid. Hon gjorde sina förslag som vi tog och sedan snabbt tog bort priset på måltiden som hon lovade.
