We had wonderful breakfast here. The tea was great! Real brewed black tea with free refills - exactly like how tea should be.

Baghala ghatogh and persian breakfast were delicious.

The staff are great and the atmosphere is lovely.

We had an amazing experience at Delara in Vancouver! The food was beautifully crafted, creative, and absolutely delicious. I really appreciated their innovative approach to flavors. The location was great, and the staff were warm, attentive, and welcoming. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and flavorful dining experience!

Disappointing Experience – Not Recommended - Rude Staff

Our visit to Delara Restaurant was truly disappointing. The staff were extremely rude, making us feel unwelcome from the start.

We were a group of six with a reservation, but one couple was delayed by about 20 minutes due to traffic. The first waitress repeatedly asked us to order quickly because they had another reservation for our table at 7 PM. I have never been to a restaurant where the staff tells you upfront that you have to leave by a specific time, it was shocking and unprofessional.

To make matters worse, they were offering a limited Dine Out menu for February, which included an appetizer, main course, and dessert. While this would have been fine as an option, we were forced to order from it, with no choice to skip dessert or appetizers. The lack of flexibility was frustrating, especially given the high price.

During our meal, another waitress rudely told us to hurry up because the next reservation was coming. We were still eating our main course when she insisted on bringing our desserts to-go, rushing us in the most disrespectful way. When we asked for boxes for two of the desserts, she literally threw the boxes on the table and walked away.

For a restaurant recommended by the Michelin Guide, this kind of service is completely unacceptable. The experience was a total waste of money, time, and respect.

The food at Delara was absolutely amazing—rich in flavor, perfectly cooked, and incredibly authentic. We loved every bite! The atmosphere was also great, adding to the overall experience.

However, I did feel quite heavy and bloated after having the Fesenjan—not sure if others have had the same experience. Despite that, I truly enjoyed the meal and would still highly recommend this place for its delicious food and warm ambiance.

Persian food with a very nice twist! I absolutely recommend this place. The turmeric saffron orange blossom cake was some next level stuff. I dont know what the did to the barberry chicken, the chicken had such a nice texture and flavor. Its just top notch stuff. The beef was also very nice and tender. Loved the meatballs for starters as well.
