We visited this restaurant yesterday to celebrate my birthday with a special dinner with my husband.

It was my first time here, and I had high expectations. The atmosphere was great, and the food was delicious. Our server was very attentive, providing a great introduction to the restaurant and taking good care of us throughout the meal.

The steak was incredibly tender! However, one thing that was a bit disappointing was that the bread service wasn’t complimentary—you have to order it separately. Since most fine dining restaurants provide complimentary bread, I think it’s good for future visitors to be aware that there is an extra charge for it. 😂

That being said, the chocolate they gave us with the bill at the end was absolutely delicious!

I would love to come back for another special occasion.

After about 14 years, this is my first time visiting this place. With a very contemporary decor and an extremely friendly staff—both over the phone and in person—it creates a great first impression.

We arrived a bit late, with only about 40 minutes before the kitchen was set to close, but they didn’t rush us at all, which was appreciated.

We tried several dishes, and each one was presented beautifully and tasted superb. Along with some cocktails and desserts, everything lived up to the restaurant’s long-standing reputation in the city.

I will definitely come back. While it is a bit pricey, I’d say it’s worth the money. The perfect spot for a special occasion!

I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the exceptional experience I had at your restaurant in celebration of my girlfriend's birthday. Despite the restaurant being quite busy, the entire team worked seamlessly to ensure that we felt welcome and well taken care of.

The sommelier’s recommendations were excellent, and the duck dish we enjoyed that evening was, without a doubt, the best I have ever had. I regret not having the opportunity to personally thank the chef for such an outstanding dish.

For me, however, it was not just the food that made the evening special—it was the wonderful atmosphere and the impeccable service that truly stood out. The memories created that evening are far more important than the meal itself, and I am sincerely grateful for all of your efforts to make it so unforgettable.

Jag hade FOSoup - lök var mosig Sen krabbpastarätten... vilken RIP OFF... kött från kanske 2 eller 3 medelstora krabbben så ungefär 3 teskedar värt i en salt, orangefärgad pastabeläggning (tagliolini? ) Jag beställde sedan en vanlig Coca Cola som tog evigheter (inte särskilt upptagen klockan 2 : 15 tisdag) och var fontän, så var inte intensiv eller kall (borde servera en oöppnad kyld burk med kondens och öppna och hälla vid bordet - jag kan smaka berätta de olika märkena av cola och denna servering var medioker. Min frus födelsedagsljus stod på en profiterole; jag åt en och chokladsåsen var medelmåttig; själva profiteroleskalet var tjockt och krispigt, inte som den ljusa gräddsmördegen jag förväntade mig. Jag kommer inte att gå tillbaka; plats har ingen själ.

Krokodil är en mycket exklusiv och dyr restaurang - - - För det skulle du förvänta dig excellens, och det är vad du kommer att få. Sulan förbereddes, urbenades och serverades perfekt, och toppades sedan med en underbar beurre blanc-sås. Allt var förtjusande. Jag antar att inte gå hela 5 har att göra med $ 75 corkage avgift, som vi kände var ganska bestraffande.

En vän och jag återvände till den här restaurangen efter en tid och hittade en ny kock som arbetade med sin magi i köket. Jag åt lunch till fast pris som inkluderade en sallad, en biff / pommes frites, en gom - rengöring, och en profiterole. Jag sköljde ner allt detta med vatten och en tjeckisk öl. Min fru och jag hade reservationer för 7 : 15 igår kväll. Vi kom mycket tidigt ( 6 : 30 ) och värdinnan vänligt inkvarterade oss genom att ta oss till baren för en pre - cocktail. vår gamla - gammaldags cocktail och gin martini var mycket väl förberedda och njutbara, och bartenders kapabla och personliga. Tyvärr var det slutet på den positiva upplevelsen i denna restaurang. Vi var så småningom ( 7 : 30 ) som tagits till vårt bord. Restaurang atmosfären var trevlig, men servicen mycket långsam. Med tanke på att var och en av de 6 provtagningskurserna gav 2 eller 3 matskedar mängd, tog varje rätt kanske 3 minuter att konsumera, följt av + / - 20 minuters väntan. Och väntar. Vår måltid tog ca 2 timmar från sittning till betalning. En mycket nedslående kväll, med tanke på de betyg denna restaurang tenderar att få. Grovt överskattat.

Detta är en fantastisk restaurang. Vi är San Francisco foodies och var imponerade av allt vi åt, särskilt kalv medaljonger med morel sås. Du kommer inte att bli besviken om du vågar här och priserna är mycket rimliga

Detta skulle ha varit en top - notch översyn med undantag för en detalj: det var mycket, mycket bullriga. Så synd. Maten var enastående, servicen var perfekt... mycket vänlig personal; kocken besöker bord för att kontrollera på matgäster. Om du inte har något emot buller och älskar utsökt tillagad fransk mat som serveras av vänlig, uppmärksam personal, är detta platsen för dig.

Jag hade inte varit här sedan Rob Feenie köpte och renoverade denna ikoniska lokal. Min födelsedagsmiddag var ännu bättre än jag ekoekterade! Ny modern inredning, kunnig och uppmärksam personal men inte overbearing. Läckra tallrikar av alla mina favoriter!

Mycket pretentiöst. Mycket dyrt. Maten var bra men tråkig. Servicen var ok. Denna restaurang är en stor miss eftersom det finns många mycket bättre restauranger mycket nära denna i Vancouver

Stort urval av aptitretare och huvudrätt. Vi åt råa ostron och nötköttstartar till att börja med, anka till huvudrätten och avslutade med profiteroler. Servicen var toppen - notch!

Vi har varit på restaurangen flera gånger under åren och förra gången var veckor innan omvandlingen till ny ägare. Vi åt middag för en vecka sedan och maten var utmärkt. Vi tycker dock att ljudnivån var mycket obehaglig, mellan 80 till låga 90 dB nära bullernivån i en pub. Det var aldrig en fråga före nytt ägande.

Första gången här sedan Rob Feenie tog över och jag blev inte besviken. Faktum är att jag älskade allt vi beställde. Den blåfenade tonfisken var färsk och lagren av delikata smaker och smörsallaten fanns där uppe också. Till middag åt vi biffen i pepparkornssås som kommer med pommes frites och kycklingen med svampspaetzle - såserna för varje var perfekt. Servicen i början var lite långsam men de var helt full på en tisdag kväll så en reservation behövs definitivt. Nästa gång begär jag en fönsterplats. Vi blev också behandlade med två lagom stora aptitretare innan måltiden, sorbet emellan, och en liten chokladbit efter. Allt detta förhöjde vår matupplevelse och gjorde vår jubileumsmiddag speciell. (Om du har 6 - 8 personer i ditt sällskap fanns det ett mysigt rum som heter fågelburen tror jag och barområdet var också ett separat område som verkade mysigt på ett franskt sätt. )
