One of the, if not the, best Japanese restaurants in Vancouver. Sada-san and his team blew us away.

Octopus’ Garden is a high end Japanese restaurant that deserves all the recognition it has received from media since its inception.

The food was high quality, incredibly fresh, and incredibly delicious. I don’t think you can get materials this fresh and clean anywhere else unless you fish it yourself.

This establishments service was on another level. I genuinely enjoyed every second at this restaurant with my family and I will most definitely be visiting again in the future for another round of omakase.

Found this hidden gem by accident, we’ve already eaten but I really want to try this place so we ordered few small dishes. The service was excellent! The place is super comfortable! We spend $120 for 3 small dishes, I would say the food it’s not that amazing comparing to their environment and service but all in all it was great experience.

Are you looking for the best service, food, experience and want sushi? Well this place is by far the best sushi restaurant in BC I have ever had. The amount of stars I wish i could give this restaurant wont be enough compared to the night sky.

Firstly, I can't express how far and beyond they went to make us feel welcomed and treated us with professional services.

Secondly, the food. Where do I start... I was skeptical with the art sashimi where you decide how much you would like to pay for the chef to work with. I was speachless with what I got. A whole hobo fish sliced up with beautiful design and all the different Japanese and Canadian ingredients perfectly matched together. I appreciated the different plating too and including indigenous plates!

Lastly the price. Worth it. Don't be cheap. Spend it. Experience it. Stop spending $15 on your fast food restaurant and start saving for this experience.

Absolutely mindblowing meal! It's been 3 months since we visited and we still regularly mention how it'll be a long time until we come across a meal as satisfying as this one. The uni shooters and oysters kicked off the meal seamlessly, and the sashimi / lobster were indescribable. Don't be too surprised when the lobster comes out... very fresh. The price tag is hefty but the meal is 100% worth it. We will be back for future anniversaries!
