Sushi Hil is the best sushi I’ve had in Vancouver - this is no small statement as I’ve had a lot of incredible sushi over the years in Vancouver. Each dish at Hil feels so perfectly crafted for an incredible dining experience. That staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and deliver exquisite service. We went for my birthday dinner and I could not have had a better experience. I hope to be back - book your reservation now!

Food was good. Service was excellent. Sushi was fresh AF. Would recommend. Make a reservation. Space is limited. One washroom only, toliet seat isn't automatic so you have to lift it and same with the flush. Not a problem but thought people would like to know. 10/10 food and service.

Almost everything was perfect. The Sashimi was fresh and nicely plated. Rolls were tight and nice. Service was very good. The oysters were so good. With their garnish, it brought the oysters to a different level.
The gomae dressing was great but a bit to the salty side.
I would still give them 5 star!

Service was great and interior is beautiful. Restsuant is small and cozy. All the food is fresh and yummy. Everything is reasonably priced. I don't like the fake candles. To me personally they had a smaller menu and I would love to see some fish I wouldn't typically find at other sushi restaurants.

From SASHIMI we had the Sashimi Moriawase (Chef’s Daily Selection) which was 15 pc for $55. I loved that they had something different from other restaurants (seasame tuna, whelk, and scallop)

From the FEATURES we had the Fresh Seasonal Oysters which was 2 PC for 9 my boyfriend added with Hokkaido Uni for $10 which was great. The Oyster Motoyaki $12, and Scallop and Crab Motoyaki were both done very well especially compared to other restaurants. Nagasaki Bluefin Tasting (Akami/Chutoro/Otoro/Negitoro 8 PC) for $60 was so good and such a good deal, highly recommend to order

Hairy crab special was okay

For makimono we had the House roll $16 which was great price and filling and Snow Crab roll $25 which was great
