Have always enjoyed the cocktails here, especially anything with the Liberty Gin. We recently booked for our anniversary party, and we couldn't have made a better choice. The atmosphere and staff was great, and I was delighted by how smooth the logistics were. The Liberty team made it a great and easy day for us.

Nice experience and warm atmosphere. The aesthetic is on point. A nice guy in a wicked stash gave us an explanation of all the whiskies from our flight, and which to add a few drops of water to, to expand the flavor profile. My favorite was the southern style (not a bourbon, but would be if made down south). It tasted like caramel and happiness. Also got a cocktail, I believe a greyhound. No tours in the middle of the week, if you want that you’ll have to pop by during the weekend. Still worth the stop regardless :)

Cute stop with the worst tasting experience I've ever had (out of about 40+ wineries, breweries & distilleries). Great vibe with untapped potential.

There were sterile, white, laminated info cards to describe the $15 flight tasting notes.
Zero experience.
Zero in-person explanation.
Zero reason to return.

Almost thought we were going to get some quality content when a dude with an awesome moustache and apron brought our water... (the highlight of the experience) But that was the whole experience, him bringing the water to the table.

Their sign posts tours, but they no longer offer tours.

If you want a quality tasting, visit Ontario (or Kentucky) . For comparables I'd recommend the staff / management visit 40 Creek (tasting / tour) or Dillon's in Ontario, or Alexander Keith's (Halifax, next level beer experience)...

Best place on Granville island to grab a drink, spirits are top quality, no wonder why they get so many awards. And the service is great, Andy was so helpful recommending drinks, the Pear Lady was absolutely delicious

The Liberty Distillery has a wide assortment of whiskeys and cocktails. My husband and I enjoyed a flight of their trust whiskeys which did not disappoint. I loved the flavor profiles of the ancient grains whiskey, and hubby enjoyed them all! The servers were considerate and knowledgeable. The bar itself is absolutely gorgeous! This was a great interlude to our day.
