Friends, I just discovered an incredible Eastern European restaurant in downtown Montreal!

I went there for lunch today, and I have to say – I’m truly impressed! The borscht was a standout: rich, hearty, and bursting with flavor. The presentation was on point, making it feel like a special experience from the very first bite. The interior is warm and inviting, with a cozy atmosphere that feels like you’re stepping into someone’s home. It’s the kind of place where you can sit back, relax, and enjoy a meal that’s made with care.

The location is super convenient, and what really added to the experience was the owner, Galina. She’s so welcoming and friendly, making sure everyone feels right at home. If you’re curious about authentic Russian and Ukrainian cuisine, this place is a must-visit. Trust me, you won’t find anything better in Montreal! A very cozy small authentic restaurant. We had the tasting menu and the food was good and you can tell it was home made. Almost like you were invited to a Russian grandmother's house. The waitress went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time, in a light hearted way.

This restaurant is such a gem! Celebrated my boyfriend’s birthday here tonight and the staff went above and beyond to make it special. The menu is very reasonable and the food was great! Highly recommend!!

this is the very case when all your expectations coincide with reality and what's more, reality is even nicer:) I am very glad that I came to dine here, the cuisine is excellent, in the best traditions, very tasty. The interior is a classic Russian restaurant, with a pleasant view. The service is perfect, it was as if I came to visit old friends.
