Literal art on every dish! The tasting menu was a treat for all the senses and soooo good for the soul! Each dish was incredibly delicious, attentive service, and the ambiance so chic and intimate. Truly one of my favorite tasting experiences in Montreal.

We loved our experience here! We are visiting from California and have experienced many fine dining restaurants, but nothing has compared to Toqué. The best part was our server, Eve. Hands down the best!

The food was delicious and the drinks were PERFECT! The old fashioned was made better than most places. The branded ice cube was a nice touch.

Oysters were shockingly super fresh. The strawberry vinaigrette and in-house jalapeño hot sauce were wonderful with the oysters. 10/10. The foie gras was the best I’ve ever had. The flavors are an explosion in your mouth 10/10.

For our main, we ordered the ribeye to share and it was pretty good 7/10. It had harder pieces of fat that were not easy to chew, but the flavor was delicious. Probably wouldn’t order again, and would opt for something else.

If you’re in Montreal, worth the experience!!

Enjoyed a multi-course tasting menu here which was a treat to our senses! The service was excellent and the staff were very kind and courteous to accommodate our schedule  to make some adaptations! Come here to enjoy a delicious feast!

We ordered the seven-course Tasting Menu with wine pairing.  The service was very slow making the dinner last 4-hours.  Our server, Eve, spent most of her time re-filling our water glasses.  The venue was a bit dated.  Finally, the design of the coffee cup with no handle, delivered at the end of the meal, was just plain silly.

Excellent service from the moment I walked in, but unfortunately, the food did not impress me at all. I visited this restaurant because I heard the experience would cost a thousand dollars in the States. Since I went for lunch, it wasn’t a course menu. All mains included one appetizer and coffee, priced at $49–53 CAD, which is a very good deal for fine dining menu.

They have quite a good wine collection, and many table customers opened bottles. They also offer half glasses of wine, priced at around $10 CAD each.

For my meal, I had foie gras as an appetizer and duck leg as the main course. Both dishes were heavy, overly sweet, and salty. While the duck skin was crispy, the meat was dry, and I couldn’t understand the purpose of the bread placed between the mushrooms and sauce.

My server, Phill, was efficient and well-organized. He handled customer questions about the wine selection quickly and knowledgeably.

The post-meal coffee, however, was machine-made, a bit watery, and took over ten minutes to make.

In summary, the service and ambiance were excellent, but the food was underwhelming.
