Overall 3.5 stars. Everything looks pretty at D Spot. I never been before because it looked so pretty that I thought it was expensive. And I was right. It was expensive, so big, big tip to come with friends to share. The English Toffee Latter was too sweet. The Chocolate Milk Cake taste phenomenal. Not too sweet, not too bitter; it was just right. Portion was designed for sharing.

D Spot Desserts is a great spot for not only dessert for other non-dessert items. I really assumed it was just another Demetres. I've drove past this location many times, but never went in. Well I was craving something sweet and dropped in. It wasn't busy, there were customers but it wasn't overwhelming. I stood at front waiting to be seated for a bit of time when a server came as asked if I wanted to be seated. I said yes, he said..."alone?" Yes, alone. *rolls eyes*. I'm seated and given a menu and he left. I waited, and waited and finally waved him down to take my order. I think he was weirded out I was eating alone because after I placed my order he was like just for you. When my waffle arrive they forgot the fork which took a little more time to get. Now I'm not upset about the food, it was delicious. I got the liege waffle with biscoff cream with cookie crumbles and a side of vanilla ice cream. If you are a biscoff fan, you will love this dessert. The waffle was warm and had a nice crisp on the outside. The biscoff cream is heavenly delicious! I can't get enough of biscoff cookies and spread! What upset me the most was the fact they made me feel like a weirdo for eating alone. Also, they seem to be very disorganized. There were three people working and they had no leadership in the kitchen or in the cafe. Everyone was trying to do everything. Assign tasks, one person at front/ serving, one doing prep. I think that took away from the experience. I will maybe visit again...maybe.

Decent dessert spot to try. The interior was pretty big with big booths to sit in. The service was good, nothing to complain about. I tried the chocolate and pistachio croffle which came with vanilla ice cream. It was pretty good and the ice cream balanced out the rich chocolate. Perfect to share with someone. Some friends got the cheesecake and said it was very hard and would not recommend. Overall a good dessert spot if you're craving something sweet.

Excellent spot for desserts. They have every imaginable sweet treat you can imagine. I miss their chocolate cake with the vanilla ice cream on the side - not too sweet. What's even sweeter are the memories I made with my family while eating there. Can't wait to return!

Came here at night time for a dessert with my friends, the food itself was great, and the service is great too. However, the staff members do not necessarily care or attempt to control any customers that are being too loud and disruptive to the other tables. I do not blame the employees for the behaviors of other customers, however I wish that rules are established regarding being too loud and when customers are being too inconsiderate.

Good dessert and service. A pretty enjoyable dessert place in Markham. The classic funnel cake is really good here. Crispy base, a good amount of strawberry sauce with real strawberry, top it up with the nice soft vanilla ice cream. Simply delicious. On the other hand, the drinks are just way too sweet for me. Pretty good-looking but they dump in a heavy load of sweetener to it. Honestly, I'm not a big fan of it. The servers are great with good politeness. Will come back for dessert but not necessarily for drinks. Still recommended.

Location became busier after 830pm. Funnel cakes were quite crispy. Generous servings with a big cup of ice cream topping the funnel cakes. I liked the "cozy and comfy" funnel cake with lots of apple topping and vanilla ice cream which seemed closer to soft serve which was fine. The other funnel cake had a strawberry sauce and chocolate ice cream. I preferred the apple funnel cake with vanilla ice cream. We had to pack both for take home. It is huge! Service was friendly and attentive. We couldn't finish the funnel cake or the ice cream and we asked for a cup to pack the ice cream to bring home. They kindly offered to keep the ice cream in the freezer until we were ready to leave. We couldn't have asked for better customer service! 5/5. Plenty of parking at this location.

The menu is quite extensive; there's even a table of contents with fourteen chapters! They've got drinks (milkshakes, cold/hot drinks), funnel cakes, cakes, waffles and crepes, ice cream, twisted tornados, Belgian creations, pancakes and funnel fry poutines, croffles, signature sundaes, sausages, and poutines. We ordered a crepe and a slice of cheesecake. I like that you can customize your crepe. It comes with three toppings and one sauce. Ice cream and additional toppings and sauces are an extra charge. The service was quick and friendly.

Great place in markham for a dessert night out. The service and food was very good. They have a very large variety on their item of like 15 pages with many toppings and ice creams. The service was pretty quick considering they only had 2 people working.

Red velvet cheesecake was a HIT!! I've heard through friends that this place was known for their super delicious milkshakes but I'm more of an ice cream cone girl. 10/10 Flavor choices. The service was quick. We got our milkshake and ice cream within 10 minutes, maybe less. The vibe was comfortable and quiet. The color scheme was too cute. Would definitely take more friends here.
