Great location right off of the 407, so not a lot of traffic. Little bit of an older hotel, but very clean. Odd entryway to get into the hotel thru a mini plaza parking lot. The people at the front desk have all been very nice. Would definitely stay here again

We stayed here during our two-day trip to Toronto and found it to be an excellent choice. The location is highly convenient, situated near Highway 407 and less than a 20-minute drive to downtown Toronto. It was the ideal base for our trip. After a long drive, we checked in late, and the process was seamless. Our room was ready upon arrival, complete with all the additional items we had requested. The room was spacious and well-equipped, meeting all our expectations. We were thoroughly satisfied with the amenities provided. The hotel serves a hot breakfast in the morning, which was a great start to the day. We almost missed it on the first morning as breakfast service ends at 10 a.m., but the variety offered each day was appreciated. Parking, however, can be a bit challenging. We eventually found a spot towards the back of the property, which was convenient as there is an entryway on that side leading directly to the elevator. We also used the laundry facilities and were pleased with the setup and cleanliness. The service throughout our stay was excellent--from the reception staff to the kitchen team. Everyone was friendly, professional, and eager to help. Overall, this stay was a great experience. We would happily return on our next trip to Toronto!

I recently had a business trip to Markham and decided to stay at the Hampton Inn. The staff is quite friendly and the included breakfast was limited, but decent. They do have complimentary coffee, hot water, and tea bags near the front desk; this was a welcomed addition as a snow storm hit during my stay. The small fridge and microwave does come in handy if you are staying a few days. The room was pretty clean and spacious, but the curtains don't close all the way; I normally wouldn't care, but my room was on the second floor and people outside can easily look right into your room. Another annoyance is that it can be difficult to find parking in the evening as the lot isn't that large and spaces in the front are partially taken up by the hotel next door. I like the look of the large glass walls of the shower, but there is a huge design flaw as the swinging door collects splashes and the water starts to leak out onto the bathroom floor. They do provide a towel on the door, so I guess they are aware of this issue. Overall, I did enjoy my stay. The drawbacks weren't serious, and the friendliness of the staff were top notch. I wouldn't mind staying here again in the future.

First time ever at a Hampton Inn and it definitely exceeded my expectations. Stayed here with my family mainly due to its proximity to many of the best Asian/Chinese restaurants in the GTA and we came away pretty satisfied staying here. The Studio (1 King Bed) that we stayed in was clean and spacious. Overall, the hotel and premises were very clean. The front desk folks were super friendly as well as they interacted with us and our kids. There was also a daily complimentary hot breakfast. It wasn't anything spectacular, but it was still solid - scrambled eggs, omelettes, sausage patties, bacon strips, home fries, waffles, pound cake, muffins, yogurts, fruits, cereal and juices. The breakfast area itself wasn't huge and a bit tight, but sufficed. Would we stay here again if we visited Toronto? Definitely.

Great stay here at the Hampton Inn. Everything I've grown to expect and love from Hampton Inns: friendly staff, neat lobbies, clean rooms, clean hallways, adequate fitness centers, decent continental breakfasts, free parking, daily room cleanings, efficient (dual) elevators. Great location right off the 407 on Woodbine Avenue and near the 404 and Highway 7. A few eating options in the strip mall next door. A gas station with a Tim Hortons is next to that...both easily walkable. Few notes: Parking was generally okay, but was tight on Saturday night, as expected. We were able to find one of two available spaces at that time. Parking lot can be entered through the adjacent strip mall parking lot, or through the rear. There is no direct parking lot entrance from the main road (Woodbine Avenue). Iron was pretty old...it made ironing our event outfits (2 suits and 2 dresses) quite a task.

Stayed here three nights in September 2022. While I wouldn't say it's in a particularly convenient location for going to Toronto everyday (thanks to 45min traffic-riddled 14mi commutes), inreally liked this Hampton Inn. That was until they didn't provide housekeeping on the first day. You pay $XXX/night they should, at the minimum, make your bed and give you new towels. And this whole COVID reasoning is nonsense they are just trying to save on payroll: Other than that- this was a nice place, I can't speak to their breakfast bc we ended up going out for it rather than the hotel.

I have stayed more than a dozen times in this hotel with my family. We travel to Markham fairly frequently and this is our home away from home. This hotel is located near the intersection of Woodbine Ave. and Highway 7, which means there are about 1,000 restaurants and hotels within a 10 minute drive. It is also right next door to a Costco. So if you travel here and discover that you need to buy a warmer coat or a pair of boots, it's very convenient to just walk next door to Costco for it. The hotel itself is modern and in great upkeep. It has always looked to me like it was built last year, and I have been coming here for over a decade. The lobby is small but pleasant. The rooms are relatively large and well appointed. They have a free self-service breakfast every morning. There is the usual small exercise room and swimming pool available. Not exactly Olympic standards but plenty good enough to enjoy and relax. The staff is usually friendly and helpful. All in all, not a bad place to stay for your vacation. Minor but strange details that prevent me giving it a 5 star: 1) There are no drawers for your clothes. You either hang everything up in the closet, or you live out of your suitcase. 2) More than half of the electrical outlet plugs are unusable because they are too loose. More often than not, if you plug something in, you will be using tape or a towel to help make sure you are still plugged in. Very weird because everything else is in good repair. Lastly, you cannot drive to this hotel without passing through the somewhat narrow entry to the Homewood Suites hotel immediately next door. This is hardly ever a problem. But at the wrong time of the day, guests are moving in and out of the Homewood Suites, and you will find yourself having to squeeze by with you car for entry or exit.

Stayed here this pas week. Just one night for a work trip. Hotel was good value. Location is only convenient if you drive but other then that it was good Clean rooms, nice shower and super friendly staff (our housekeeper was rest she said hi and brought us extra shampoo with a smile thank you Guillermo a!!!) Would recommend but only if you drive

Very pleased with our stay here. The king sized bed room was spacious and I enjoy reading nightly on the in room chaise. The room had a desk which my husband used for working on his laptop. There was also a mini fridge and microwave in the room which was a nice touch. The room was cleaned promptly each day. I felt that everyone on the staff really enjoyed their jobs, someone was always asking me how our stay was going or if our room was ok. Breakfast is complimentary and offered a nice array of items. I'm very picky with breakfast and I left feeling full and satisfied. *free wifi**

Very nice (and new) hotel right off of Route 7 in Markham, Ontario. I usually stay at the Homewood Suites (right next door) but they were sold out and this was a good alternative. I would be torn between the two properties as both have good, friendly and professional staff members. This hotel has a small business center, pool and fitness area and a pleasant, if not remarkable breakfast included. The room itself is very nice. Clean, well organized. Lots of power, but if you are power bricks, you may struggle to put them into the lamps outlets. The bowed shape of a few of them make it impossible for some larger ones to fit. Odd choice. The shower also was dark (I wouldn't shave in there) but the rest of the bathroom was very clean with nice fixtures. Recommended.
