Healthy eating with greens & chicken as protein (chickenor beef) options along pita to give carbohydrates altogether provide energy! Delicious Shawarm... Osmow's is a lovely place. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city in spite of being in the city . There's an ample parking space around the building. The place has the huge indoor seating arrangements and the seating arrangement is super comfortable and spacious. great customer service. The staff is really nice, friendly and kept following . The food menu is great and there are many choices to choose from and they also offer quite a lot of small bites options to choose from.Pricing is decent, good value for money and the place is more suitable for a group of people.

It's a shame, the few times I've bitten into a neglected chicken bone have all been from this location. Either there is an issue maintaining effort, or the standard of the product has dropped, regardless I would stay away from this location if you enjoy your teeth intact. Still 2 stars for the consistency in flavour.

This was the WORST FALAFEL wrap I have ever had. It was bitter and AWFUL. Even the veggies were bitter. I should have clued in when there were no other people there at lunchtime. STAY AWAY!!!

I usually order a medium Chicken on the Sticks and at my most recent visit, I paid an additional $0.85 for extra garlic sauce. I've visited this location multiple times and decided to go with extra sauce this time as they usually give less than what I have received from other Osmow's locations. Either they forgot to put in the extra sauce or are just incredibly stingy with it. The only thing consistent about this location is how little sauce they put in. The chicken was also very dry which made eating it harder without much sauce. Unfortunately disappointed with my most recent visit and will reconsider eating at this location in the future.

This review follows up on my unpleasant first experience at this Osmow's location. After reading my one-star review, Arlin, the owner of this Osmow's, contacted me. He was kind of offer a complimentary meal for me to make up for the butchered order and experience that I got. He wanted to give me a similar deal: either the Philly chicken or cheesesteak on the veggies, and dessert, which would be the baklava again instead of the coco twist that I had my heart set on originally. I said that I disliked the baklava and asked if I could get a bottled pop. He was good with that. He said that Rajdeep would be the manager on duty on the date and time that I would drop by, and that I should ask for him. What put a damper on this generous gesture was that Arlin asked that I "take down the review as during [COVID,] all businesses have been hurt and we are doing our best to satisfy the customers and [at the same time,] make sure our staff and patrons are safe." Here's my take. I found it inappropriate to ask me to take down the review when I hadn't had my second experience to fix the first one. It felt premature. Second, I have been ordering takeout twice a week, as a minimum, including my first experience at this Osmow's, during the pandemic. I realize how tough it is for businesses to stay afloat during a pandemic. I am fortunate to have been able to work from home and not take a hit. However, pandemic or not, I should not have hot sauce applied to my food when I clearly didn't ask for it. It's a serious issue. What if I had a hot sauce allergy and you did that to me? It's a health risk. Same with running out of the coco twist and assuming that I wanted baklava. It's not tough on Ritual to indicate that it's unavailable. Don't give me what I don't want, with or without a pandemic happening. It's called respecting the customer's needs and not imposing your own on her. They are simply customer service and training issues that need work. I arrived at Osmow's the following Wednesday night at 7 pm. I asked for Rajdeep. He assured me that he would make my order to my liking and was profoundly sorry for the messy experience that I had endured. He was wonderful and I wish that my first experience felt like this second one. He said that I could grab any beverage from the fridge. I got a bottle of Diet Coke. I had been out running errands in Stouffville and needed to use the restroom. It was nicely maintained and clean. Rajdeep made me feel comfortable by asking me to sit back as he prepared my dinner. I got the Philly cheesesteak on the veggies. When he was done, he personally put my food in a plastic bag and walked over to place it on the table. He was sincerely sorry and I could see how he felt in his eyes with his mask on. I let him know that I appreciated his wanting to make things right. I thanked him and walked out the door with my food to my car. When I got home, I chowed down. Rajdeep was wonderful making this Philly cheesesteak on the veggies. The veggies were crisp and fresh. They existed compared to my first order. The white sauce and flavourful Philly cheesesteak made me happy. No hot sauce. It was perfect. Thanks to Rajdeep for making me a happy customer and fixing all things wrong about my initial experience. My original review stands on Yelp for those who want to reference it. I don't believe in removing reviews, as I have spent a decent amount of time composing it. It shouldn't be erased from Yelp as if my experience hadn't happened. Here's hoping that when I return and Rajdeep is not on staff preparing food that I will have an equally delightful experience as my second time there. (453)

Osmow's Ratings: 3.4/5 Food: 2.5/5 - My first meal after arriving in Toronto. We arrived super late, and Osmow's was close to home, so my boyfriend and his family decided on getting something fast. The food was mediocre and average, but it hits hard when you are hungry AF and wants food that's fast and causal. Please see the descriptions of the dish I got for a late-night dinner below. - Chicken Salad [GET]: The salad comes with a decent amount of grilled chicken shawarma. The chicken was a bit dry, bland, and boring, but it's not hard to chew, and I like that it isn't too greasy. It is served on a bed of lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cucumbers and green peppers. The veggies are fresh and supposedly topped with their famous Osmow's sauces, but I asked for all sauces to be on the side. If you cannot handle spicy, then you need to avoid their hot sauce, because I couldn't handle it. Nothing good, but gets the job done, I guess. Ambiance: 3.75/5 - The restaurant is spacious and clean, looks pretty new, better than I expected. There's plenty of tables and chairs available for dining in. You can see the rotating spits in the kitchen and the salad bar as well. I would say it is a good spot for late night drunk food, or if you are looking for something super causal and easy. I heard that this is a Canadian fast casual chain, and there's many locations around. Price: 3.5/5 - I believe the grilled chicken salad was around $12 after tax. My boyfriend's brother treated us to dinner, so wasn't sure the exact amount, but the portion was huge and definitely loaded with chicken, so not bad. Service: 4/5 - The staffs here are easy-going and efficient. We ordered for five people, and the order was ready within 15 minutes. Everything was neatly packed for to-go. Also, I asked for no sauce, but didn't realize that the salad came with dressing until he made it. I kindly asked if they could make me a new one, and the staff actually did. I appreciate the service, and shoutout to the guy at Osmow's. BLUF: A solid spot for some cheap Shawarma and Greek food. Their portions are huge, and you will definitely be full for $10 to $15 dollars. I like their sauces a lot, especially the garlic sauce, so make sure to try that. The Markham location is clean and big, and I would recommend trying it out if this is your first time having Osmow's.

Came here from a recommendation and also from seeing a Raptor's endorsement, but I wasn't pleased: Stood at cash but no one was there... for a long time. The only staff present was working on the line, to which she made eye contact with us but didn't say anything and continued to do her own thing. Found that rude--no greeting or smile or anything. We waited for like 5 mins and we were about to walk out, until someone else finally came out to ring our order. Got a medium chicken on the rox, which it was alright. The chicken was kind of dry and mushy.... and with the rice covered in mayo sauce, to be honest, it tasted like tuna. I was surprised they don't have plates, even for eat-in dining, they are all takeout containers and plastic cutlery. To me, this is a deal breaker. I don't care if you have your logo embossed on the container, at least have a recycle bin to minimize your waste. Okay food and mia service. There's too much room to improve.

Terrible Osmow Location, the guy taking my order didn't even understand what a chicken on the rocks was and I had to explain it. Once I got my order the rice was completely undercooked and inedible!! Chicken On the Rocks - 0/5 Rice was completely undercooked and inedible. Chicken was dry, bland and had a tiny portion. This has been my go to meal at osmows however this location was terrible. I was in the area and was in the mood for osmow but this ruined my appetite. Suggestion: visit a different location

It had been a while since I had been to an Osmow's for some Mediterranean wraps or platters. I recall really enjoying their generous platters and shawarmas when I first visited the Richmond Hill Bayview location. This new Markham location is in a string of new restaurants on Woodbine Avenue north of Highway 7 across from LA Fitness. Walking in on a Saturday at noon, we were one of two customers there at first. Their menu displayed numerous types of platters and shawarmas. Looking at the selection of platters, I vaguely recall the prices being lower in years past. I knew I wanted the chicken platter, so we decided to get the Combo for 2, which included one regular Chicken Shawarma Wrap, one Chicken Shawarma Platter, and two drinks (cola or water), all for $21.99. (As one single Chicken Shawarma Platter already cost $14.99, the Combo for 2 seemed like a really great deal.) We took a seat at one of the many available tables and shortly, our orders were served to us by one of the staff members with a smile. The staff here were so friendly and attentive. The Chicken Shawarma Platter was enormous! It was a huge Styrofoam box of chicken on top of a bed of rice with a side of hummus and Tzatziki sauce on it (extra $0.50 respectively). The platter came with a salad; we had chosen the Greek Salad. The chicken was delicious. It was tender and moist and went well with spoonfuls of rice. It definitely hit the spot. The Greek Salad was fresh and great. I only wish that none of their containers were of Styrofoam material. If customers are dining in (like we were), can they start implementing some sort of reusable material? Or if not, at least invest in paper boxes instead. The Chicken Shawarma Wrap was a good decent size too. I actually liked the flavours in this a little more than the platter because the wrap contained pickles, olives, and lettuce, which made it a tastier combination. However, wraps are always a bit messier to eat since there's so much stuffing in it. We concluded that we could have ordered one platter to share between the two of us and been just as full. In fact, we couldn't even finish both the platter and the wrap since the portions were so generous. We noticed that other customers who came after us as a pair also ordered only one platter to share. We had forgotten how generous the platters are at Osmow's but for our future visits, we'll know that one platter is enough for two to feed on. Before I left, I also ordered the Saturday Special to go. It was only $10.99 and consisted of Shish Taouk: curry chicken breast, onions, green peppers, rice, and a garden salad. It was an amazing deal. When I later tried the curry chicken breast, I appreciated how tender the giant chunks of skewered chicken were. They weren't dry at all and very tasty. As I'm writing this post, I realize that a popular item on the Osmow's menu is actually something called "Chicken on the Rox", which is actually what I might have been thinking of when remembering the past lower prices of a platter. A chicken on the rox consists of chicken on rice, which is essentially what our Chicken Shawarma Platter order was except a chicken on the rox doesn't include salad. Also, a chicken on the rox is only $8.99, a far cry from the $14.99 for an extra salad. Next time, I'll know to order the chicken on the rox instead.
