I had eaten here for lunch during the weekdays. For its price the food was acceptable. This is the first time ordering takeout from here and I am very disappointed. We ordered the salted popcorn chicken Bento, Thai curry chicken Bento, pork belly Bento. The main dish portions were rather small for example the popcorn chicken had only a few pieces and the Thai curry only had 3 breaded pieces also. My wife had trouble finishing the pork belly because the texture was tough, cold, and the flavour wasn't there. It was a 15 mins drive home so maybe food gotten cold? The side dishes that came with the combos were a bit better. But it wasn't anything specific to rave about. Now, maybe the quality is not as good because I did come here less than an hour before closing so maybe the food was sitting out for a while. Overall, I don't know if I would come back here again. It wasn't the same as before. Even the portions felt smaller.

Saw so many people ordering the bento boxes and we regretted ordering their noodles. Brisket wasn't too bad but the noodles were quite chewy. Soup was kinda watered down. The fish balls tasted like normal fish balls. The brown sugar drink was very sweet although we asked for less sugar. Service was nice though. If I ever come back, I would order the bento box because it seemed more reasonable.

The food, bento, were fairly good. It's not that impressive but the flavour is acceptable. As a Taiwanese, being able to eat Taiwanese food in downtown Toronto already make me grateful. However, there were some disadvanges which I didn't like. I had take-out meals so I didn't eat in the restaurant. I felt it's oily in the air. Taiwanese bentos have a lot of fried dishes and I think the ventilation was not good, or it just needed to be improved or maintained. in addition, I think the employees weren't given Taiwanese-style training and I didn't feel being welcomed when I entered the restaurant.

Want a fast and reasonably priced lunch? ZenQ offers bento boxes for $13, and you can add a drink for +$3! So far, I've had their beef noodle soup and crispy chicken bento. Very tasty!

Tried their uber eats takeout recently. The food quality was meh. Their other chain used to have this sweet sour plum rib as their signature dish, but this chain offered super hard and chewy rib. The meat also tasted oily and old. So did the chicken leg, plain and not fresh. On the other hand, the chicken rack we ordered was too salty. They are missing the mist basic cooking skills here. It was also a full 1.5-hour wait for the food. I would never revisit.

Food is okay, service was good, the server was really nice. Atmosphere is quiet, which is nice if you need to talk to someone. Food wise, not exactly the Taiwanese flavour I was expecting, but it's OK. For the drinks, just as expected.

I use to frequent ZenQ a lot back downtown and always go for their lunch combo special which included 3 sides. However, I don't know if their menu changed or what but when I use to get their salt and spicy pork chop it usually comes fried/seasoned. But when I order it here, it's just coated in BBQ(?) sauce which isn't that good sadly. But I do like the portion size on their side dishes

This ZenQ location is convenient and has plenty parking space. It is spacious with big TV, so it is family friendly. Food and drink are on par as other ZenQ locations and have various lunch special. I said this place is only okay because the service is always hit and miss. They made mistakes on our order a few times and very lack of service.

Came to Zen Q for an early lunch. I love the Lunch Bento (11 am to 3 pm) options as I can pick my Main and my sides to make a custom lunch order for $7.90 and $2 extra one of their drinks! A little disorganized though and I got a little confused as I am not sure if it is a self serve or a sit down restaurants. I notice I was not the only one that stood in the front wanting to order from the counter directly. Probably will be back for a quick bite next time when I am in the area. The restaurant does get busy during lunch rush with workers from the nearby offices, so either come earlier if you want to get a seat or if not you can always have your lunch to go.

I wasn't expecting anything since my last zen q visit at the Unionville location was horrendous. I got the $9.90 special combo, which is a rice thing including a choice of bubble tea (choices listed on the special combo menu). My thing was the fried chicken rice which was actually really good! The chicken was a little too salty but the steamed rice had a dash of the minced pork. Overall I liked it. It was a 3*. Then i tried my dad's minced pork rice and it was amazing. It came with a whole marinated egg!! But yea I think that pork was done really well. Full of flavour, not super salty, and still had pork flavour. Def recommend this. My drink was the Peach QQ refresher, no ice. I loved this drink. Def recommend this place for drinks and snacks. Lunch and meals are ok. Not too much choice, which I like, but I think they do drinks much better.
