i like this location; they have hired GOOD bartenders,, with knowledge of drinking. The newest Chucks near Eglinton in mississauga was awful. as long as they have drink specials I'd go to CHUCKS; not interested in the food side

I've always loved Chucks. Best food for road trips. This time we just wanted to go to one even while in the city. Loved the food and the atmosphere. Muskaan is an amazing server and was very helpful. I recommend this place.

The worst restaurant / bar food our party of 3 has ever "tried" to eat. The sad part is that it was a birthday dinner for my friend's son. Super disappointed, especially based on the higher quality of the food prepared at other locations. We were told it was only the cook's second day and he was overwhelmed. Not quite sure why you would leave a busy weekend kitchen staffed by a new hire. We were also advised that there were approximately 6 other tables experiencing major issues with their food as well. We were served cold and unseasoned steaks. Mine was charred and got overdone. Everyone's food was stone cold including the steak and lobster tail ordered by the birthday guy. Save your money and try another location!

Casual restaurant with lots of screens and cheap drinks. The staff were attentive and friendly. We got the sirloin steak and smokehouse burger. The burger had more flavor, but the steak was still good, although the corn was a bit burnt. Both meals came with fries by default, and you could upgrade to sweet potato fries, onion rings, baked potato or salad. The drinks were also very reasonably priced.

Great food (stake and lobster) cooked and served. Serves was quick and friendly. Nice people, educated and friendly too. I will take this place as my favourite from now on visiting Toronto (hotel is only 10 min far from).

So I've been coming here for years and all I can say it's a real pleasure to have met some people that work here or just come through but if I have to say anything that is deserving of the hospitality award and that puts up with people's demands it would be Zaga! She is amazing. Always remembers everyone's drink or food order the moment you come in. Has the warmest smile that lights up the room and did I mention she's a cutie with a booty. Aside from that, myself being a chef at Michelin restaurants I love this place because the beer is cheap and the food is not bad for the price. I believe there is more that meets the eye in a place like this. Come give it a try and I doubt you won't be upset. Just make sure you ask to sit in Zagas section. You will always leave happy.

Please beware that a completely sneaky "Honest to Goodness" fee of 3% is automatically added to your bill. Upon seeing this when I looked at my receipt when I got home I called the restaurant. It was explained as a fee to "compensate for their low advertised prices". I call Bullshit on this business practice. The food was fine, service was average for Mississauga. Also, the servers clothing did not fit and looked worn out to be honest and these were not uniforms. None of the staff will ever work at Cactus Club or Hooters but please take pride in your appearance people. Will not return if I am the one paying.

My manager and colleague on our team have birthdays in October. My friend and I co-ordinate our team's birth month lunches. In September, my boss said that he knew where he wanted to go. Yes, we both initially ditched what the other colleague may want to hear his suggestion. He pointed out that a new Chuck's Roadhouse had opened roughly twelve minutes from our workplace. Yay! I managed to convince the other colleague to check out the menu and see if she wanted to go with our manager's suggestion. The fact that Chuck's had great beer deals for my colleague who dreams of beer worked out nicely. I drove my intern, and said colleague and boss, over to the restaurant. I parked behind the main entrance, which faces Dundas Street East. It's an odd setup. There is plenty of parking. On Wednesday, I had made reservations over the phone. The woman whom I spoke to had taken my information. When I checked in, the person greeting us said that they don't take reservations. Huh. Odd. Anyway, we were a party of six and it wasn't busy at noon on a Friday afternoon. We got a booth and sat down. My friend and our other colleague were in a meeting till 12:30 pm. She called me to get directions to Chuck's. In the meantime, we placed our orders. My intern, manager, and I all got the top sirloin steak and lobster tail. If you have been following my food habits, it's the only dish I order at Chuck's. I love it so much and you can't go wrong with a base price of $22. My intern and I have similar tastes. We both got mashed potatoes with gravy and ditched the fries. Our manager didn't want to shell out an extra $2 and settled with fries. I love how enthusiastic my intern is about food. He always orders an appetizer. We split the mozzarella sticks that came with ranch dressing. We got six sticks -- one for each person at our table. The appetizer was $9.50. We didn't think it was worth it, but the one mozzarella stick that I had was flavourful, especially with the ranch dip. I wish it were bigger. I ordered a Diet Coke. It came with a lime wedge. It was refreshing. I got a refill later on. My friend was recovering from the flu. She ordered a berry pecan chicken salad. It looked good. She said that it was tasty. Our colleague who drove her over to the restaurant went with the Chuck's burger that came with fries. He enjoyed his meal and ate it all. My colleague who likes beer ordered a Molson Canadian for $4. She also got a mushroom melt, which would be my go-to burger if I wasn't so obsessed with steak and lobster. At one point, her entire meal came toppling onto her lap and part of the comfy bench area. Our server was wonderful getting a lot of napkins for us to clean up the mess. The food fell between beer woman and my intern. I was seated next to her. But, wait. It gets more bizarre. I was enjoying my meal. The lobster tail was plump and done perfectly. I dunked each morsel into the clarifying butter. So good! Eventually, I dunked practically everything in it. The corn on the cob tastes great with clarifying butter. Yum! I ordered my steak medium well. It was done to my liking. The mashed potatoes with gravy was so comforting and delicious. I was incredibly happy with my meal. Both my intern and manager asked for their steaks to be medium rare. Their meals were under the heating lamp for so long that their steaks looked like mine -- medium well. Despite the unexpected doneness, they loved their meals, too. My manager, who was sitting next to me, lost his steak knife. I just remember feeling a blunt object hit my left boob. He felt bad. I joked and hoped that I would die from it, so I wouldn't have to do any software release work soon. Beer-loving woman then dropped her knife. I swear that I was surrounded by klutzy people. The weird thing is that I tend to be the klutz and I looked like the perfect eater in comparison.. haha! Our server was friendly, competent, and attentive. She let us know that the carrot cake was a loonie cheaper. A slice was going for $3.99. My manager looked at me and gave a hand signal to indicate that he wanted to split it with me. I was game. My friend offered to pay for two slices of carrot cake, which was mighty generous of her. She has a huge heart. We first all dug into the first carrot cake. It was so good. I am so sad that this carrot cake is coming off the menu. I asked the server why it was going away. She didn't know, but she was equally as disappointed as I was. The second slice of carrot cake came. We decided to be more civilized and cut it up into six squares instead of savagely diving in like we previously did. I will miss this cake. The cream cheese is to-die-for delectable. It works well with the flavourful carrot cake, and healthy doses of cinnamon and nutmeg. We all got separate bills. We had two machines going. I paid with a credit card and all was great. I'd come back! (405)
