Got a blizzard here the strawberry cheesecake one and thought it was pretty good! The location here is kept clean and overall service was pretty quick. I like the atmosphere and their wide selection of cakes. Definitely a go-to spot for the summer :)

I had a mint blizzard and pouting a while back. The location seemed pretty busy and food was served quickly. The mint flavor was not overbearing which was nice. The poutine was larger than expected (at least compared to another fast food place).

Ok so disclaimer, this is my very first time trying dairy queen. Watching American shows in the UK hyped me up for this moment, and ever since I lived in Canada I've been wanting to try that signature "D" curl. I was overwhelmed with the amount of flavours , but opted for the most chocolatey one that I could. I was really surprised by how good it is! Chocolatey and creamy and so so so good! The employees at this branch were also super friendly and happy to recommend flavours to me. I'll definitely be back for more!

This Dairy Queen {DQ} is the closest one to my workplace. It's in a plaza a block west of Dixie and Dundas. It steps away from I Love Pho. On Friday, my intern, our manager, and I had just had lunch. I have been talking about DQ so much that I had planted the ice cream thought in their heads. Yay, me! I drove them over here. The plaza has plenty of parking. I parked and we walked in. This DQ is huge inside. There are plenty of tables and booths to sit down. It is clean, but a bit rundown in some spots. There was a taped-up seat, for example. There was a woman ahead of us who was interested in getting an ice cream cake. She was there asking questions about cakes for our entire time at DQ, which may have been 25 minutes, at least. I ordered a small dreamsicle dipped cone. The woman helping me out did not look like she wanted to be there. No smile. No cheerfulness. Blah. I paid with cash and got my cone. The orange dip looked equally as uncheerful as she was. The orange was pale and sad. The dip was thin. It tasked okay. The vanilla soft serve was yummy, though. The dreamsicle dip needs help with its consistency My intern got a small chocolate dipped cone. It looked yummy. He enjoyed it. Our manager ended up getting a large vanilla soft serve cone. He like the soft serve. He felt that the cone tasted stale. Bummer. I'm glad that there is a DQ close by work. However, I have been spoiled by my local DQ that this one has tons of room for improvement. (395)

I dined in at 1248 Dundas east in Mississauga a few weeks ago. I hit the double stacked steakhouse burger combo. The food was so bad, I've NEVER had food so disgusting. The burgers were literally dripping grease everywhere. The diet pop was so completely flat, I surmise that the CO2 hasn't been changed in months. The only decent part of the meal was the onion rings, and ONLY because they had to make them fresh. Read the other reviews, every one is BAD. DQ Head office is DOING NOTHING ABOUT THIS FRANCHISE, except for BS "I'm sorry" comments on reviews. BECAUSE THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT ANY OF US, AS LONG AS THEY CONTINUE TO MAKE MONEY. This franchise owner should be stripped of his store. I spent $18. I would like a gift card for $25 to cover the meal, gas, aggravation, etc. And I definitely want this store thoroughly reviewed and improved. Unless your burgers are just terrible across the board? Compared to the DQ burger, McDonald's is way better, and that's saying something! I don't have my receipt as the cashier didn't GIVE ME one, which actually means that I should have gotten the meal free. I wrote head office and all I got was a b*llsh*t form letter. No gift card. Nothing. Don't eat food at Dairy Queen... Just stick to the ice cream, assuming that's any good. Just got a response from the Business manager with a link to contact them, but you can't click on links in a review. (how do they NOT KNOW THIS?) Plus, she obviously didn't read what I wrote, or she'd know I'd already gone to the DQ website. Let the franchise owner know? He knows. He's part of the problem, I mean, obviously! I want a gift card for the money I wasted. I'll never get that, nor will I get a genuine response and anything to make up for the horrible experience, including the business response and the dairy Queen website response. I give them a ZERO. DO NOT EAT ANYTHING AT DAIRY QUEEN.....I could have gotten a Beretta farms beef burger combo from Hero's that wouldn't have cost any more, but would have been awesome. Always have issues with this Dairy Queen...sometimes the price isn't as advertised, sometimes items are missing from your meal...today I went to Dairy Queen for a birthday meal... I ordered a 6 piece chicken strip meal and only had 5...one meal was also missing the drink that was paid for... please look at my picture and see how the chicken strips looked...if you're not only getting ice cream here I would suggest GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

I just had the worst experience here ever!! For my boyfriends birthday I always order him a birthday cake. Today's experience was horrific! I placed an order for this Reese Peanut butter blizzard cake. On the online order form there is a place for special requests or notes or comments. I had asked that instead of vanilla ice cream to please use chocolate. They had mentioned there could be additional costs for special requests which I was willing to do. Today I went to pick up my cake and to start off with they couldn't find it. The girl asked me for my name, for the message on the cake and nothing. Then finally they found it based on the type of cake I ordered. When they brought the cake over the first thing I noticed was that the cake was fully made of vanilla ice cream and not chocolate ice cream. I was unimpressed to say the least. When I told the woman she responded with "we don't get a lot of special requests so we don't read that"...... are you kidding me? The cake was also unfinished which explains why they were unable to locate it based on the message what was suppose to be written on top. When they went to write the message the girl was quick but did a sloppy job. She used a piping tip too large for the writing and did not write the correct message and instead wrote "happy birthday 28th__________" instead of happy 28th birthday ______. By this point in time I was pissed. You can make mistakes and own it and I am fine but this lady was just straight up rude. When I commented on how the writing was incorrect she said "well it's a small cake this is how we write it". There was not comment like I'm so sorry we will fix it, nothing. I was furious I complained and said I would never be coming back to this location again (I'm a calm but upset voice) and she responded "it okay we don't need your business or a problem here".... are you kidding me??? I walked out and left so angry with the cake I didn't even want because I was not making a scene. I am now on hold with Dairy Queen but so unimpressed!

I have been here previously and I did not have a problem. However, I had called in for a custom made cake to be done the day after and asked if it was possible to have it ready for pick-up at 1. First, she was confused on what kind of customization I wanted. I told her it was a picture and that I was going to order online so she could see it but she thought I meant the little characters that you put on the cake. And after all that confusion, she said they could do the print (which is what I wanted in the first place????). She also said it was okay to have it done for the next day. So, I sent in the order online and put a little reminder saying that I was going to have it picked up the next day despite the order saying it could only be picked up 2 days from now. So I go to the place and she has no idea what cake I'm talking about. I show her the form and she says she has ready for pick up in 2 days.... But I called to ask if it was okay to pick up the day after I placed the order and I also put a reminder when I sent it. Unbelievable.

This location does not honor national specials or promotions. When asked, they will claim the special is American. When shown the promotion on Dq.ca, they say it's not valid and still don't honor it. Avoid this location. They are really cheap with ingredients in their blizzards as well.
