The last review was out of frustration of wondering who ripped me off. After calling several places when I got back home I realized it wasn't the car rental people. It was the Priceline website, and the Pathway suites people. Still trying to get my money back. Or least some of it. The priceless car rental was the only honest transaction I had in Canada. They even told me about the outlandish tollway fees. I believe it's like $50 per entry without a toll tag. Had I not shown them my maps, i may have gotten lost on my way to Niagara Falls. Car insurance is crazy in Canada. You have to have 1million dollar coverage policy. Same as a 18wheeler in America. Not their fault, but the government fault. I looked it up myself so it's true. Not a fan of Hyundai, but it was a clean car. The Bose speakers sound real nice. Even better than my car and I have great speakers. First time driving a Hyundai. It feels like a Malibu in some ways. As I forstated I was ripped off on Priceline website due to 3rd parties. Xcover, Pathway suites, priceless, Priceline all had charges on my cards. So I was confused. Usually I do Expedia which I will from now on. They only charge once and it's all through them. They sort out the money themselves. No hiddes fees either. And even Priceline themselves ripped me off. Wish I could leave a rating for them on here. They don't exist on here. I may have to add them and down vote them. The car rental is the only one who even bothers to answer the phone. The others play like they don't hear you. Thanks for taking time to explain things cuz it's sad people would rather lose a customer than just be honest. Once someone rip me off I'll never do business again with them. So Priceline travel, Xcover, Pathway suites is banned in my life.

One star since I can give negative..... These people are criminals. It's a scam and a fraud. In my case they charged me a month later for traffic violations that I did not receive! The sent me charges for a toll - which is fine - and then $100 extra. When pressed for evidence for these alleged violations, there was none, of course....just a series of emails saying that "I better have good credit" if I challenge the charge with my credit card company - whatever that means. The overall experience was horrendous and it's my fault in part for not researching them beforehand. So its buyer beware; if you chose the seemingly lower price on offer 1) it won't turn out to be real and 2) there is a high probability that they will try to scam you further. These people should not be in business and I will do my part from here to make sure of that. Criminals! Add on edit: I see I have received a form letter response since posting as have many other negative comments. Has anyone been contacted to address the issues (in my case theft!). I have not. This is a criminal enterprise.

To add on to Emily D's response, she is spot-on. I appreciate the customer service response, but it isn't an uncommon experience with this Priceless location. When you look at Google reviews, the word "scam" comes up several times. That's exactly what it is. There was no way for me to rent a car at the agreed upon total from Expedia. I either had to pay their liability insurance or pay a transfer fee (both $20 per day). I even called my insurance company on speaker with the representatives and said, "I'll just increase my insurance to cover the million dollar liability that Priceless says is necessary. But once I said that, I was informed by Priceless that I would have to pay a "transfer fee" of $20 per day. No matter what, the price that was paid on Expedia wasn't honored and I HAD to pay another $20 per day (for 14 days) once at the office. When this was challenged, we were yelled at and kicked out of the office at 8:00 PM in the rain. This isn't a legitimate business run by honest people. They're scammers.

DO NOT RENT a car from this Company( call Swift rent a car, near Toronto airport) .They are scammers, rude, aggressive. I didn't check their reviews beforehand. Online showed big discounted rates but by the time of pick up car they will force you to pay extra hidden charges.If you don't pay they will tel you to leave their office. When I refused to pay they said we cancelled your booking and they force me to leave from their office. I already paid partial amount through Expedia and its been month they are not refunding my money. Expedia trying to contact them but they are not responding. Worst experience ... every reviews said they are punch of Scammers, they should shut down their business.

Poor service. Wasted an hour and still walked out with no car. Upselling everything, total was less than a 100 but with upsells coming out to twice the price. Very inconvenient

Do not rent from this agency. The first problem was the drive from the airport. Although the person was courteous, it was raining hard. Despite the rain, he drove while texting on his cell phone and like he was in a Formula 1 race down side streets. My husband asked him to slow down, "Hey, slow down I have my kid in the car." As for the "insurance issues" mentioned by another poster. Yes. They will charge you $20/day for insurance OR if you have your own insurance, they will charge you $20/day transfer fees to...I'm not sure what exactly. Regardless, you will pay an additional $20 a day. Look on their website and on the third party website you may have used to book (I did). You will not find this information. The employees told my husband that this is standard industry procedure. If you've never rented a car before, don't believe that, it's utter nonsense. Anyhow, we may have still paid it because it was 8:00 and pouring rain and we still needed a car. But we did not have to make the choice because one of the gentlemen lost his cool when I asked if that policy was in writing somewhere in our agreement, refused to rent to us, and locked us out in the rain. Yes, the 8 year old as well. Thank goodness for modern technology because within 20 minutes we had a car from the excellent Sixt Car rental, for essentially the same price we would have paid with the "transfer fee". Oh, and Sixt had zero questions beyond, "Will you use your own insurance?" No fee for that, since Sixt is a legitimate company, unlike Priceless. Anyway, buyer beware. And if you do choose to rent anyway, at least do not bring your children. Not safe.
