As with many restaurants and stores here at Pearson Airport, I have mixed feelings about this Tap & Pour restaurant. I'm probably being generous in giving this review 3 stars (average), but in all fairness, it wasn't all bad. But it sure wasn't all good, either. Conveniently located by the domestic "2" gates (mostly servicing domestic flights and Porter Airlines, I believe), there aren't any other sit-down restaurants in the area here so, if you're hungry and/or have a 3+ hour layover (as I did, yesterday night), this is the only place to go. The menu looked decent enough, with various options for salads or burgers, and lots of wines or beers and some cocktails. too. It goes without saying that the prices are high. This is an airport restaurant, so EVERY restaurant (or store) is overpriced. That's a given, so if you're looking for reasonably priced foods (or gourmet fare), I'd recommend you not visiting an airport for that! The interior looked nice, with a lot of windows overlooking the tarmac. I seated myself at a corner booth and, once seated, I noticed spills on the floor (slip hazard!) and a few errant French fries on the floor (and they weren't obscured under chairs or tables, either. They were blatantly out in the open on the floor, very obviously visible. This made me question the cleanliness of the kitchen and the process of food preparation here. Also, there were two menus on the table and one was tacky/sticky on one side. YUCK. Despite all this, I stayed. The server was pleasant enough and she was attentive, and I had time to kill. I ordered the burger. And it was surprisingly good. Like, really good. Basic, yes, but good. And the accompanying chips were fresh, crisp and not greasy. I admit I didn't expect the burger to be as good as it was. Would I return here? Probably not. I'd bring my own sandwich with me if I had a lengthy layover in this part of the airport. But the food was tasty and, despite it being pricey, in a pinch it fills the bill.

You could die of thirst waiting for service, the place was almost empty and the young bar hop was more interested in talking to the other employees, place was almost empty and I see why. Prices very high as per airports. Waited then left, don't think they knew. That was tap and pour at Toronto Pearson, not Mississauga.

We had time to spare after being rolled in wheelchairs to the T3 Porter gate by ground staff. May 1, 2025. The general service was poor, the tables sticky, floors kind of dirty, the food was GREAT (we had sunrise burgers) and our server who was also bartender and food runner "Sheikh" was really wonderful and considerate. Our wheelchairs were left outside because there wasn't enough room to manoeuver between tables, and when we were paid up and ready to proceed to our gate, they were gone from the front of the restaurant. Sheikh ran out into the terminal and brought the chairs to us so that we could proceed to the gate. I wish all servers were like him; too bad the restaurant seems to be understaffed, it could be sooo much better, and worth the airport prices.

Not only is the food expensive and the service slow as molasses, but travelers need to be aware that flight pages DON'T WORK in the restaurant so you will miss your flight if you're waiting for an announcement.

We walked in and seated ourselves 30 mins ago. No one acknowledges you and even after flagging 2 servers, no one tended to us. Thank god we came real early for our flight. I think eventually we will get served, being hopeful here. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU ARE HUNGRY!

The location outside Gate 2 at Pearson is a nice spot with a good ambience but very much understaffed and one server in particular was not good. Slow moving (I don't want to infer lazy) and rude, she had the poor guy who was also serving/bartending running around like crazy and leaving at least a third of the guests unattended - meaning they were waving their arms trying to get attention or waiting and leaving while being ignored. Full transparency I was one of them. He didn't have time to serve all the guests let alone clean the bar or tables, and she was doing neither - recall this is an airport where customers are generally waiting for a boarding call.... Anyway, not a good experience.
