I recently visited Lotus Vegetarian Restaurant with some work buddies for dinner, and I was thoroughly impressed! As someone who typically enjoys meat-based dishes, I wasn’t sure what to expect from an entirely vegetarian menu. But I have to say, this place exceeded all my expectations. The variety of dishes is fantastic, and the quality of the food is good. What really stood out to me was how they’ve mastered the art of making vegetarian food look and taste remarkably similar to meat. The textures, flavors, and presentation are so spot-on, it’s hard to believe it's all vegetarian!

Every dish we tried was delicious, full of flavor, and satisfying. Whether you’re a vegetarian or just looking to try something different Lotus Vegetarian has something for everyone. Delicious and a huge variety of food here! It's all vegetarian so eventually some of it will taste the same or have the same texture, but unless you're ordering every dish you won't have this problem. I really liked the spicy turnip cakes (they taste just like the Congee Queen ones) and the crunchy Cantonese noodles. I also liked the eggplant with "shrimp". I didn't have a chance to try any of the dim sum because I was too full by then, but it looked good. The only thing I wasn't a big fan of was the lo bak go; it had a strange gluey texture (flavour was fine). We went for my cousin's birthday so we also got a plate of the birthday peach buns. Service here is quick and polite as well; they were always refilling our tea and water!

Vegetarian dim sum was not bad. $2 tea price is not worth it considering 鐵觀音 tea wasn't fragrant enough. 燒賣 was very tiny and was not authentic enough

Located inside a small plaza the decor inside is not fancy. Service was friendly and the food was delicious!!! The top 3 picks for me were the mock abalone, glutenous rice, and braised tofu. I definitely intend to return!
