Really late review but I attended a wedding here previously. Venue was decent. Food was OK, unsure if it was from a caterer or not but management or people claiming to be management really need more training. Tried to find water for a senior attending the wedding who was thirsty and was met with some rudeness - apparently the area of the venue wasn't open to the wedding. OK sure, I didn't see any signs saying that but but I politely asked if there was anywhere I could purchase some water at the venue and was just told that the area of the venue wasn't open to the wedding. I've been to weddings at Hamilton and St George's and neither acted like first class jackasses. The staff were always polite and helpful. I wish I could say the same for this place.

We were there for a wedding and it was our second time so we kinda figured out how food would be like. Throughout the night we had servers walking around asking if our plates were done and etc. I thought it was normal after I told them few times that I wasnt done because there was still a lot of food on my plate. We were all chatting, so obviously we had to stop. The servers just kept on asking, which kinda bothered me. Before the speeches started, they gave us sparkling wine. About 15 mins into the speeches, servers started taking away the sparkling wine glasses and we all found it odd because speeches were still going on and they didnt ask us if we were done. None of us had a sip so it was a waste! We ended up using water and white wine for toasting. It was only around 9:30, so they made it seem like they wanted to kick us out badly. Dessert table went by fast and when we asked if there was more coming out, they said yes. 30 mins later, still nothing. The ravioli was probably the best thing ever.

We had our wedding here and we love the venue with indoor and outdoor parts for the wedding. The scenary is amazing around the golf course so photos were awesome! We wanted 1 stop shopping, where our guests and us could get to 1 venue for the ceremony, straight into cocktails into dinner and partying. This place met all of our needs. One of the important things for us was the food. We got a tasting and was able to customize our menu based on our preferences. We went with the prime rib or halibut as mains. Both were very yummy. The hors d'oeuvres were very high quality and better than most places that we looked at. They recently renovated the venue and pool area which makes this place even nicer! We have attend 2 other friends' weddings here as well. Alayna is awesome and really good to work with to accomodate our needs. She is always available and helped us keep organized during our big day.

Bayview Country Club is a high class golf course that you would normally take your clients or boss for a business agreement. During my visit, I attended a banquet dinner after a wedding. The golf course is beautiful and has a large fountain. The view from the main ballroom overlooking the golf course is breathtaking and immerses you when enjoying dinner. After arriving in the main hall, a bartender took our orders for drinks. We entered the banquet hall after taking some pictures with friends and family. The tables were decorared with flowers in the middle. The decor is also very beautiful. Snacks and delicious side dishes were served after everyone was seated. The Margherita Pizza (mozzarella, basil and tomato sauce) was my fav! Bread was also served at the table. The entertainment was great with songs and dancing with the bride and groom. The dj did an amazing job. The service was sub-par but the host was funny and entertaining. The appetizer was Cream of Truffled Mushroom Soup. The soup was average and did not impress. For the main course, I had the Vegetarian selection which was a Grilled Vegatable Tower set on a Bed of Mushroom Risotto Drizzled with Balsamic Glaze. The rice was mush and tasted overcooked. The vegatables were average. My friend had the 8 oz. Roasted Triple A Canadian Prime Rib of Beef with Garlic and Herb Roasted Potatoes with Seasonal Mixed Vegetables and Red Wine Beef Jus. My friend said that the beef was cooked amazing and the vegetables combined perfectly together. The dessert was a Warm Maple and Apple Crumble Tart with Fresh Sauce and Warm Caramel. The tart tasted a amazing and was heaven in my mouth. Other desserts included Fruits Fondue and Vanilla Cakes and Coffee or Tea. Bayview Country Club is an amazing place to party, play golf or talk with clients for a business agreement. I would return again. I recommend this to everyone!

4.5 This review is just for the curling portion of the club. Pros: 6 sheets of ice Staff is very friendly and welcoming 20-30's league available Cons: Ice is not too consistent at times I recently joined a curling league here. There are many leagues available throughout the week. I like the fact that there is a 20's and 30's league here. I don't think I have ever curled at another club that has this option. It's great to be curling with people around my age. Curling with 50+ year old curlers is fine, but trying to find conversation is really tough. The club is located basically at Leslie and Steeles which makes it TTC friendly as well. There are also other facilities like golf and tennis as well. Before I came here, I used to always think clubs like this were just full of snooty people. Boy was I ever wrong. The staff and members here are all very down to earth. I'm thoroughly enjoying my time here. There are 6 sheets of ice here which is a very good number for a place that's not just a curling club. There is a nice lounge opposite the curling ice where you can sit and chat. One thing to note for me is the ice here is not too consistent at times. Some days it curls heavily to one side and some it's the opposite. It does make the game much more challenging. It's not a big deal though if you really think about it. The prices here are very fair and in line with other places I have checked out in the past. The change rooms are large and very spacious. I definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to try curling. The 20's and 30's league is for veterans and beginners alike,

Beautiful setting for a wedding! The grounds are gorgeous from the minute you roll in through the gates off of Steeles. You are transported from one of the busiest streets in Toronto to a lush green sanctuary. The club house is simple, yet elegant with a large patio in the back to enjoy the spring warm. The hall is smartly designed with a large dance floor in the centre and a bar off to the side. I was able to have a great view of the videos and head table even though I was one of the back tables. The staff were friendly and super helpful. My friend and i were making the cupcakes for the wedding and had a surprise wedding cake. The staff re-organized their fridge to accommodate the wedding cake. Once the reception rolled around, my mouth was watering in anticipation of the prime rib, and it did not disappoint! The meat was tender and at a perfect medium. It was accompanied by house-made horseradish and delicious grilled veggies. The one disappointment was the creme brulee. At first glance this creme brulee looked promising, however its interior was gloppy and not cold enough to have that beautiful contrast of warm and cold that I love about creme brulee. Overall, I would come back again just for the prime rib and I hope that I get to come back again for another wedding!

It was an alright place to be. Friends of mine had a wedding here and it was a relatively nice place to host a wedding. Venue itself was promising, however, it should really accommodate a maximum of 200-250 people comfortably. Any more, and it starts to be a bit too packed for the amount of people to sit properly. The food (we went there for lunch, so maybe dinner might be better) was not the greatest sad to say. If you do decide to eat lunch there, I highly suggest maybe other items on their menu and not their fish or their chicken. Food was relatively dry and bland and the buns were cold. I will give it to them that when I went for second servings, the food was a bit better because maybe it was fresh as opposed to sitting there for a while since it was a buffet style lunch that was provided. Overall, not too impressed about the venue or the food, though I guess the environment outside was a decent view. Been here prior to golf as well and it was alright.

Golf Course: Very well maintained. Pace of play is quite reasonable. Staff is courteous and polite. The snack bar has great food that is made on the spot or in the clubhouse. Clubhouse: I believe the head chef changes by the season. They bring in chefs from the 4 Seasons Hotel Group. The food is generally good and the service is fair. It isn't lightning fast but I mean, most often than not, you aren't there to have a quick meal. I usually rate a restaurant on it's value but in this case, because the club is exclusive, I think it adds to it's value. It is nice to be able to make a reservation and walk into the restaurant and enjoy a meal without other noisy people, rude staff and long waits. The wait staff is amazing and they remember everyone by name. The only downside is that the Country Club is not open to the public.

My husband and I had our wedding here in May of 2016. We actually had TWO ceremonies ( a Hindu and a Christian one), and both went very well. The wedding site overlooks a stunning green golf course and presented an amazing vista for the site. During our photography session, the photographers found so many great places for us to pose around the venue. The food was top notch - during our initial tastings for the food, we had the option of lamb, chicken or veg. Since we are indian, our spice levels are usually a notch higher than the average folk, and so we met with the head chef to discuss if small variations could be added - he was more than accommodating at our requests. The coordinators at the club were amazing at keeping in touch with us, giving us upfront costs ahead of time for everything, providing support at the last minute for rehearsals, decorating etc. and helped alot during the wedding itself. There is a bridal room on the upper floor, with everything we needed for the day (a full-length mirror, tables, chairs, a large clothing rack and even a small breakfast spread with coffee/tea/water in the morning when we arrived). Overall, our wedding day went pretty smoothly, and I definitely recommend it as a great site for a wedding.
