I ordered delivery and it took two hours for the food to be delivered. The food was in cardboard box so it was cold and soggy. Tasteless, limp and greasy. This is the very last time I will order or eat at this place.

I've often frequent Swiss chalets in Vaughan, but this place is by far the worst in terms of service. We walked in and there was nobody waiting to seat us. Which is fine, so we waited. Once seated, it literally took us 20 minutes before a server came to ask us for water. So we raise our hand and gesture a server to finally come, instead he looks at us and walks away. The service here is disgusting. The server who served us was Jay who was nice. The other server who was Glenn is the rudest person i've had the displeasure of meeting. When our food finally came, I ordered an appetizer platter, the Baka Chicken and the Quarter Chicken dinner. Of course, our order came back wrong and we had to wait even longer for our food. I have no words to describe the appalling service and lack of customer service at this location. If my girlfriend did not convince me to stay I would have walked right out. To add insult to injury, the couple behind my girlfriend was seated after us, yet they received their main course before we even received our appetizers. Best part was, when we received our food I found hair in the rice. Location: 7700 Bathurst

Note this is Covid-19 period review, not that this is an excuse, and at the same time it is August not March so the issues should have been dealt with beforehand. Why the low mark? 1) It has been a while since ordering Swiss Chalet - however they must be sourcing the same undersized chickens that KFC is know for. Definitely undersized. When competitors like Costco, Sobeys and Food Basics are offering a full chicken (real sized) for less than the price of a quarter chicken meal - pay attention! 2) Online ordering is intrusive, and not very user friendly. No I will not pre-pay, and no there is no tip for pick up. 3) Pickup: a) the device is taped to the counter! b) Tap does not work so you have to insert - thereby placing hands and touching device - yet there is no wipes to clean the device before/after usage, unlike other establishments. c) again with the tip option - yet here the no tip option would not register - had to enter a zero dollar tip - another way to make extra money? Sorry Swiss Chalet has dropped in value and failed the Covid awareness test.

Great place for BBQ rotisserie chicken. You can use your Scene points for discount on food here! Great sides - salad and soup all delicious! Side roll, baked potato, French fries or poutine if you want. Lemonade available now for summer and delicious berry tart with vanilla ice cream for dessert! Sonia is a fantastic server here! Ask for her! Bathroom was clean and dishes cleared quickly. Will return!

An hour after we ordered, and 20 mins after it was supposed to arrive, food got here cold. Restaurant gave some BS excuse that the time showing onkine of when the driver left isn't when he actually left, said they would send fresh food (great, we feel like waiting another hour at 10 pm), offered a 25% credit on future orders then hung up on my wife. "Manager" Kajan too busy talking and defending himself to actually listen to the issue and deal with it properly. Terrible service, staff shouldn't be on hospitality industry in any way, shape or form.
