I had an amazing stay at 1 Hotel Toronto with my mom! The hospitality was outstanding, and the hotel’s atmosphere was beautiful. Every team member was kind and attentive, making our visit truly special.

We had a small noise issue, but it was handled quickly and professionally—within 10 minutes. The team sincerely apologized several times and even offered small treats, making sure we felt valued and cared for.

We also dined at 1 Kitchen, and the food was absolutely amazing. Definitely will return in future visits!

During my recent stay at the 1 Hotel in Toronto, I had the absolute pleasure of receiving a massage from Elaine, and it was nothing short of amazing. From the moment she began, I could tell she was an expert in her craft—her technique was both soothing and deeply therapeutic, melting away all my tension and stress.

Elaine’s intuitive touch and attention to detail made the experience truly exceptional. She customized the session to my needs, focusing on the areas that required the most care while maintaining a perfect balance of relaxation and rejuvenation. Her professionalism, warmth, and skill made me feel completely at ease, and by the end of the massage, I felt like a new person.

If you’re ever at 1 Hotel Toronto and looking for an outstanding massage, I highly recommend booking a session with Elaine. It was one of the best massages I’ve ever had, and I will absolutely be returning for another!

From the moment I arrived at 1 Hotel Toronto, my experience was nothing short of amazing. The valet service set the tone for the day—an attendant warmly opened my door, made me feel right at home, and ensured that even my arrival was special.

Check-in was seamless, with the front desk staff engaging in a friendly conversation while thoroughly explaining everything we needed to know about our stay. A standout touch was the valet service bringing our luggage directly to our room, which was incredibly helpful.

Our room was spacious, beautifully designed, and comfortable. But what truly sets this hotel apart is the exceptional service; the best I’ve ever experienced. Every staff member went above and beyond to make our stay perfect.

I will definitely be returning. Highly recommend 1 Hotel Toronto to anyone looking for top-tier hospitality!

The good: overall service was exceptional, every staff we encountered was lovely. Our terrace room was spacious with a comfy bed, although a small-ish bathroom. Great breakfast selection at the 1 Kitchen. We were snowed in one day and thoroughly enjoyed the lounge bar and the hotel restaurant Casa Madera.

The not so good: lack of sound proofing. Our corner room was terribly noisy, we could hear every hallway conversation, barking dogs, as well as every door closure. Stayed here during a long weekend, with commotion until early hours of the morning, making our stay less relaxing than planned.

(PSA: Watch out for the in room $9 hotel branded water. We went through 2 before realizing it. Could have been worse. Lol.)

This used to be one of my favourite cafés, but my last visit was awful.

I was quietly attending an online class when I was told laptops aren't allowed after 5pm — a rule I hadn't seen posted anywhere. It was just after 5, and I said I'd finish up soon.

Instead of handling it respectfully, two male staff, Ali and Mac, suddenly took my drink and called security to kick me out. The reaction was extreme and made me feel small and unsafe. It was completely uncalled for.

I won't be coming back, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
