I don’t remember his name, but I was dealing with a young black male who had a strong Caribbean accent. He was very patient and delightful to deal with. In fact I ended up over spending just because he suggested so many things and allowed me time to try on my items and got me the proper sizes. It was my first time at this location, and I have to say that after this experience, it will not be my last!

I recently had a very disappointing experience at the Alo Workout Store. I spent $1000 on several items, including two blazers in size Large. After waiting in a ridiculously long lineup for over an hour and a half, I left the store feeling pretty drained and excited about my purchase. However, when I tried to come back the same day to exchange the blazers for a Medium, I was told by the store manager, Kenny, that I would need to stand in the same long lineup to make the exchange.

Considering how exhausting and dehydrating the wait was earlier—there were so many people, and the store was incredibly hot, I had to pickup some water from there fridge and ask one of the workers if I can drink this while I’m in the line and pay once it’s my turn, and she said yes!

I was honestly hoping for some kind of customer-centric solution, especially given the high-end nature of the store. I politely asked if there was any way to bypass the line for the exchange, but Kenny was unhelpful and insisted I would need to stand in line again. I explained that I wouldn’t be able to come back before the sale ends in four days, as I won’t get another day off until the following Monday, but unfortunately, nothing was done to accommodate me.

It’s clear that this store is more focused on volume and numbers than on delivering a positive customer experience. For a high-end brand like Alo, I expected far better service and a more thoughtful approach to exchanges, especially under these circumstances. I left without being able to exchange the items I needed, and now I’m stuck with blazers that don’t fit. Very disappointing experience, and it makes me reconsider shopping at this store in the future.

the employee at the register did not mention that there was no tag on the items therefore cannot get a full refund and I spent a good amount of money. Also had an attitude at the cash register, did not make eye contact with me once while cashing me out. Super disappointed in the customer service and the overall employee attitudes.

I spent close to $2k and they grief me about providing a second bag. They claim you only get a bag per $300, oh but also its one bag per receipt, I have to split my purchase??? Why is the store so cheap?? I'm not asking for 10, i'm just asking for extra bags so that i dont have to CRAM everything in one, i can't believe this, a bag, a basic necessity for carrying the items I've just paid for. Instead, they hoard the bags as if they were precious treasures, doling them out like rationed goods during a famine. Watching the staff cling to their stockpile of bags was like watching a rat hoard nuts for the winter.

I have never experienced such dismal customer service. The staff at this store seem to take pride in being rude and dismissive. They refuse to provide bagS for the items that I have purchased!

Reading the other reviews, it’s painfully obvious this store survives purely on its brand name and the limited number of locations it has. If it weren’t for those factors, no one would bother shopping here. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere—you’ll be spared the frustration, rudeness, and time.

Worst customer service ever.  I have tied to reach someone at the Yorkdale store for 3 days. No one picks up the phone. Better yet,
I tried to reach customer service at Head office. Same results.

For a company that charges high prices, it doesn’t match up to its service level.

Seriously questioning why I shopped here in the first place.
