I was here for a Christmas dinner. Quite an expensive venue. Some beautiful artwork and sculptures.

This is a free art gallery located in the distillery district. Even though I went during the distillery Winter Village when it was super busy, it was still clean and easy to navigate. I like that there are a lot of areas to sit inside and enjoy the art and the atmosphere. The art pieces I found were varied and interesting. I recommend for a short visit if you're in the area.

I've photographed a couple of weddings at Arta Gallery now, and each time has been a blast! It's a beautiful venue full of art and brick walls, plus the staff is amazing and the food is great. Being right in the Distillery District is amazing for creative photos, this might be my favourite place in the city for portraits! I can't wait to come back soon. ig @lovingcorephoto

Arta Gallery is an exceptional space, elegantly located in a historic industrial building that bring a lot to the experience. The artwork is thoughtfully curated and meticulously displayed, clearly the work of someone with impeccable taste and a desire to present something intelligent and unique. Every piece I encountered was amazing, which is rare to find in a tourist-heavy area. The level of quality and artistic integrity here is outstanding. I absolutely loved my visit and will definitely come back.

There are a lot of galleries in the Distillery but I think this was the one I enjoyed the most. For some reason it was very nicely scented - they had festive candles lit and it was a really welcoming, warm scent. The gallery is well lit with a lot of open space in the middle for walking around and admiring the artwork. The art is a mix of canvas, glasswork, statues, and even carvings. All of the art was accompanied by cards with the name of the piece, artist name, and the price of it. If you are interested in purchasing or learning more, there were staff on hand and a separate meeting area to hold sales discussions as well.

Absolutely stunning venue. We booked Arta for our wedding and our guests absolutely loved its classy rustic charm. We wanted to do something very hip and different for our wedding and also something very "inthesix". Aka. Toronto style. We loved the art backdrops in all our photos. It's so unique and absolutely gorgeous. It made our black-tie style wedding really pop and gave our guests something other than concrete walls to look at. For a fall or winter wedding it's perfect. The room was cozy. I would suggest no more than close family and friends for a smaller intimate wedding here. We had 97 people total and there was still more room than expected but it was nice to have a little extra room. We had both our ceremony and reception here. All I can say is I wish we had more time! :) Went by in a flash but overall we are very pleased. Other things to note: Lighting is excellent for photos (after all it is a gallery) and they have a great sound system since music plays throughout the gallery. Price point was not too bad either - we were very pleased and now can think about buying a photo for our home from the gallery! :)

One one my favourite galleries. I have many but I like the size, the presentation, the management team of this one...the little I know of them. They tend to focus on photography, which as a photographer, I quite enjoy. I have signed up to their mailing list and they always have a few events going on. Their receptions are always fun, good snacks, cheeses and wine. Although some of the works tend to be priced handsomely, more than a few times I have pondered upon the thought of purchasing something. It is well curated. If you are in the distillery district, give it a visit.

Really cool place in the distillery. We stopped in today regarding a venue rental (and we decided to move forward with it). It's a nice gallery with interesting exhibits. The vibe is friendly. Lots of people we wandering through today, because of the Christmas Market was happening. I would recommend a visit!

The Arta Gallery is a wonderful art gallery that can hold sizable events. The staff are always friendly and professional. It's in a great location in the Distillery district of Toronto.

BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT BUY ARTWORK FROM THIS GALLERY! We chose a painting at their gallery and had it shipped to us. During shipment it was noticeably damaged. Now they are disputing that it was damaged and are refusing to credit our account for over $2K!! UPS agreed the art was damaged and returned the piece to them. They tried to blame UPS but that didn't work because they didn't ship with insurance. So now they want me to pay for something I don't even have in my possession. We have pictures of the damage and the damaged box and UPS agreed it was damaged. The art was returned to them and they are probably reselling it on their floor right now!! DON'T BUY IT - BLUE CITY SCAPE. We are taking more action against this company and DO NOT FEEL THEY ARE REPUTABLE. WE ARE COMPLETELY DISSATISFIED.
