I had a small lunch this past week with some of my work colleagues and we went to Bar Goa!
i heard about the place before but was my first time (not the last)

The service is very friendly and our waiter staff was very knowledgeable and easy going. She did offer few items that matches the food selection and it was great.

The food itself is just awesomely good.   we took the 3 course set menu.
I really thought this would not be enough but i was wrong.. small portion and such a great presentation.  but ultimately the TASTE!

The prices are ok but what we are getting.

Salty and Spicy. We went there for lunch for my birthday. We ordered the set lunch and lamb biryani from the menu. The food was way too spicy, and we didn’t enjoy it at all. The presentation was good, and the service was good, we even got a complimentary cake. I appreciate the gesture, but Please improve your food quality. The food is not worthy of a Michelin guide restaurant, not even close.

I did the lunch set
The prawn dish was very salty and so I couldn't taste the prawn. And the last dish of butter chicken was also salty but better, Only the first dish with white truffle broth was nice. In conclusion, 2 out of 3 courses were disappointing. This is not definitely the best Indian restaurant in Toronto.

Food was amazing, fresh quality ingredients

Hardik our server was fantastic, he was so friendly and attentive. Took his time to make wonderful recommendations. Every dish he recommended was a 10/10

Ambiance was perfect, we sat in the back room and were able to enjoy conversation without too much noise

The restaurant is tastefully decorated and not pretentious at all

We went to Bar Goa for a team holiday celebration and it did not disappoint. It's a great place for groups as their menu is very shareable. The food was inventive, attractive, and absolutely delicious. The server's recommendation were excellent. They do not shy away from spice which was welcomed.

For me, the standout dishes were CHICKEN PEPPER FRY ‘KULCHA TACO‘, CHARCOAL DAL MAKHNI, CHARCOAL BUTTER CHICKEN, PRAWN BALCHAO TOAST, LEGENDARY LAMB CHOP, but everything we had was great.

The music (which included Bollywood trap, and yes, I asked for the playlist name from the server - it's Bar Goa Toronto) had me bopping in my seat all night.

The only downside to our experience was that the washrooms are awkward as they are shared with the office building and require a passkey to access. But this is a minor detail.

Highly recommend and would go back.
