The staff were very nice. The ambient wasn’t great though, it was getting cold and hot, also there was condensation dripping from the gutter or pipe above. The food presentation was beautiful, the portions for 5 of us were sufficient, it was an expensive restaurant that could have done much better. The washrooms on the ground floor, one didn’t have water, the other one didn’t have soap. One of our cups was broken and one of the dish was not clean, however, the server immediately exchanged it. The server surprised us with a dessert as we were there for a celebration. I loved the green decoration of the restaurant. The music was so loud on the ground floor that we ended up going on the second floor.

Strongly recommend to make reservation directly with the restaurant

Absolutely delicious! Every dish was a delightful surprise—both in presentation and flavor.
The fried rice was outstanding, definitely a must-try.
It’s one of the most outstanding meals I’ve had recently, and I’ll definitely be coming back.
The only downside is that parking in the area can be tricky, but the food is so good that it’s totally worth it.

the food was amazing! we got the winterlicious menu and i loved the duck fried rice. the passion fruit meringue tart was so good as well. it was a bit loud at the restaurant so it was sometimes hard to hold conversations. the food does come out quite slowly so be prepared to spend around 2 hours if you’re having dinner.

Lovely happy hour. Reasonable prices and quick service. Food was yummy and as a dessert lover I highly recommend churros 👅 truffle frita and other food items were amazing as well. Our waiter was very welcoming and friendly, great service overall.

Happy ending to a last minute switch restaurant switch! Was unfortunately told that happy hour was limited to the hot seats, so we went with Winterlicious instead.

Fun but familiar Latin flavours - I enjoyed everything. Found portions to be pretty generous at the price point (and with respect to the King West area). Appreciated the free tequila bday shots haha

På en våt natt varmt på takdelen med gott om värmare. Maten var fantastisk liksom cocktails och vin. Amy vår server var en fröjd och även organiserade en speciell behandling och vi var i stan från Skottland. Tack Amy ❤️ Greg var också en fröjd och ursprungligen från. Dundee som var cool. En bra plats för ett par eller stor grupp. Skulle rekommendera maten, atmosfären och maten.

En besvikelse upplevelse på Baro Vi hade stora förhoppningar för vår natt på Baro, men tyvärr föll erfarenheten kort. Medan värden vid ingången var härlig och välkomnande, saker gick snabbt utför. Trots att vi hade en reservation för två, vi satt vid ett bord för fyra. När vi begärde ett mer passande, privat bord, flyttades vi — ironiskt nog — till en plats precis vid den livliga baren, vilket kändes ännu mindre intimt. Vi beställde fisken, som kom med en chockerande $ 90 prislapp. Om IT hade varit exceptionell hade vi inte haft något emot kostnaden, men IT var extremt salt och helt enkelt inte njutbart. Smaken motiverade inte priset det minsta. Servicen under hela kvällen var bristlyster. Vår servitris verkade upptagen med baren och var till stor del ouppmärksam. För en restaurang med ett sådant rykte och prissättning, upplevelsen var underväldigande och en besvikelse. Inte bråttom tillbaka någon gång snart.

Det är en trevlig plats för par eller vänner att ha en intressant tid på kvällen. Jag var där med min flickvän. Koncept - kök + hall är bekväm. Ingen lukt, rena toaletter. Maten är välsmakande och priserna är lite högre till mitten för Toronto. Saker är vänliga. Boka bara bord för helgkvällen.

Otrevlig personal. Pretentiöst av - sätta personal, inte säker på varför. Detta var vår minst favorit plats under vårt första besök i Toronto.

Det enda som var värre än maten var priserna! Inte ens ett bra ställe! Maten var medelmåttig som det är bäst, servicen var dålig! ! Vem serverar espresso i en mugg? Jag skulle inte rekommendera eller besöka här igen! Det finns mycket bättre i Toronto! Lammspett smaklös och seg och räkorna på $ 48 var överkokta och kalla

Jag gillade blandningen av latin musik samt en handfull andra genrer. Platsen ser riktigt trevlig ut. Mycket annorlunda än innan de gjorde renoveringar. Jag kommer definitivt tillbaka dit igen. Jag rekommenderar den här platsen om du vill dansa. Det finns ett stort utrymme på tredje våningen för att umgås och dansa, att kyla, du kan umgås på andra våningen där det finns bord och stolar och det är mer en engagerande miljö, och det finns en dold Escobar-fest i ryggen som om du får lösenordet du kan gå in i.

Lördag kväll (7 mars) beslutade min man och jag tillsammans med ett annat par att stanna vid Baro för att dricka. Det var tidigt och vi hade redan ätit middag, så vi beslutade att betala entréavgiften för att ha drinkar i klubb- / barområdet på tredje våningen (även om det var ganska tidigt runt klockan 22). När vi anlände var platsen ganska tom och alla tabeller fanns tillgängliga. Vi tog ett bord vid DJ-området och eftersom det var tidigt beslutade vi att ha några öl innan vi beslutade om vi ville stanna längre. Det gick bra, bra musik och en bra publik den kvällen. Fram tills en servitör kom till vårt bord och bad oss lämna eftersom bordet var reserverat för en flasktjänst som redan betalades för. Vi var chockade! På ingen tidpunkt under natten hade servitören eller någon av de andra anställda berättat att bordet var reserverat eller att vi behövde köpa en flaskeservice för att bo vid bordet. Inga reserverade tecken fanns heller vid bordet. Vi trodde att det kanske var fallet och frågade om vi bara kunde beställa en flaska så att vi kunde stanna vid bordet eftersom vi hade det bra. Svaret var dock nej och de fortsatte att kasta oss ut. Vilken typ av cirkus är den här platsen och vem som hanterar det är frågan här. Detta är inte sättet att behandla kunder och säkert inte sättet att marknadsföra ett företag. Alla gör misstag, och om det här var ett misstag, borde personalen ha ägt upp till det och hittat ett annat sätt att lösa problemet istället för att bara kasta ut de människor som hade konsumerat öl och haft en bra tid från början av kvällen. Respektlös behandling från personalen, (med undantag för den säkerhetskille som var ursäktande och uppriktig). Vi åkte eftersom det just nu var pinsamt att eskorteras och slängas ur klubben utan anledning. Men med att veta att vi blev felbehandlade bestämde jag mig för att prata med chefen för restaurangen på 1 gategolvet på väg ut. Efter att ha förklarat för henne vår missnöje med hur vi behandlades (hon tvättade händerna från evenemanget för att hon bara är chef för restaurangen och inte klubbområdet och sa att hon inte visste varför vi blev misshandlade). Jag kunde få en återbetalning för vår entré (vi betalade var och en $ 15 för att bli misshandlade och generade offentligt). Om du bestämde dig för att besöka den här platsen, se till att du frågar i förväg om bordet är reserverat och om du är garanterad att ha bordet under natten. Undvik att bli generad utan allmänhet utan anledning.

Besökte Baro för affärsmiddag i juli 2019. För närvarande en speciell kampanj som vin onsdag. Varje flaska vin under $ 100 är halva priset. Vi började med tre ceviche, sedan hela fiskar, yamfries, stekt ris osv. En stor central / sydamerikansk mat. Musik var lite högt för affärsmiddagen. Annars är det fantastiskt!

Kom till Baro på en fredag kväll för en väns födelsedag gjorde vi bokningar för ett bord (inte lämplig för par till små) platsen är helt vacker, bra vibbar och en välkomnande miljö. Restaurangen surrde massor av människor. Övergripande bra atmosfär. Vi hade deras CGS - guacamole, salsa och chips som var stor. Älskade deras hus-made chips vi hade också Bow Tie Primavera mycket välsmakande jag var nöjd med maten men inte blåst bort som förväntat och att dricka vi hade DRUNK IN LOVE och en MÖRK OCH STORMY (rekommendera) båda mycket bra. Tjänsten var stor från hostess, servitrisen snabb och enkel. . Jag skulle definitivt gå tillbaka. Inte så snart tho.

Utmaningen var att hitta en annan plats att äta klockan 10 på en söndag. Vi hamnade hitta en fantastisk plats. Cocktails är unika och välsmakande. Den stekt hel fisk som var branzino var helt utsökt. Stekt och kryddat till perfektion. Det var så bra att jag inte tror att de kommer att kunna duplicera det så jag måste återvända för att prova dem. Det kom med en sida av avokado ris som var fantastiska och stekt plantain chips som inte var särskilt anmärkningsvärda. En måste kolla in.

Maten var fantastisk, de viktigaste måltiderna är enorma och skulle rekommendera delning. Vi satt i baren och tjänsten var utmärkt och maten var exceptionell. För priset pekar denna plats stenar

Atmosfären på takterrassen är stor, tjänsten var också mycket bra. Vi äter inte men de har ett bra utbud av drycker och musiken var på punkt. Stor plats att sitta ner för utomhusdrycker.

Vi åkte dit för brunch, ta en chans som vi aldrig hade varit. Vi älskade rymden, sittplatser, menyn, tjänsten, allt! Vi båda hade avokado toast med ägg och det var utsökt. Kaffe är lite för stark för min smak men det kan bara vara jag. Decibelnivån var acceptabel - även om det inte var för upptagen. Tvättrum är enskilda bås, obekväma. Observerade inga steg men huvudutrymmet är brett, alla på bottenvåningen. Jag märkte också en hiss för de andra våningarna.

Service, kvalitet, fantastisk mat. Vad mer kan man begära. Min fru och jag beställde Cerviche (Campechano) och 2 aptitretare. Empanadas var fantastisk. Och den vänliga servicen var oöverträffad.

Inredningen är vacker och jag älskar Frida väggmålningarna så mycket. Personalen var super vänliga och hjälpsamma. Jag var nöjd med maten men inte blåst bort som jag förväntade mig. Guacamole var mycket salt men de gjorde oss lite nya. Det är överlag en rolig plats
