For my birthday, we got to experience the whole animal dinner. I chose high in the adventure scale and it did not disappoint. We chose cow to ease my hubby into this whole animal dinner experience lol. He loved everything and so did i!
My photos do not do the food justice. Nate the chef was great. He explained all the dishes to us and was so friendly. I love his food! I loved how he incorporated the different spices in his food.
I cant wait to go back and try another animal as well as their pizzas. Eating there, I could see the different pizzas being brought out for different people. 😍
Beast is totally worth the 45 minute drive! I cant wait to go back!

Started off the new year and ended our trip in Toronto with an unforgettable meal!! We had the seafood whole animal dinner on medium adventure. Every bite on the menu was a completely different experience with local and rare ingredients we had never tried or heard of before. Our courses included a salmon tartar dish with their aged pizza dough as the bread (read: soft chewy goodness), a perfectly spiced Vietnamese lobster egg roll, a take on a shrimp dumpling with umami-rich white kambu, red snapper with potato scales and a sauerkraut in a creamy delicious sauce, halibut in a coconut cream with their homemade chickpea natto, and a rich dark chocolate lava cake for dessert. The combination of fancy food and chill vibes in the restaurant were immaculate, and we loved watching Chef Nathan prepare each dish. Needless to say, we would absolutely go back!

I assume the non-vegetarian dishes are better but we didn't try them.

We had beets, they were as advertised and tasty.

We had cheese pizza, which was so-so. The dough was slightly underbaked, as noticeable in the (very thick) crust at the edge. The flavor of the dough was good though. There was not a whole lot of cheese/sauce on the pizza.

And then we also had the Fusilli Alfredo which was very disappointing. It looked like in the picture on the menu, but there was very little sauce. The sauce tasted more buttery than anything else, certainly not creamy as advertised. Lots of garlic too, which is not a bad thing. The Parmesan that was supposed to be present was undetectable. This is an overpriced dish that is basically just a load of pasta in a bit of buttery sauce. Avoid.

What an amazing find, all thanks to a happy accident! As I was driving through the streets of Toronto,  on my quest for Nuit Blanche installations, I stumbled upon Beast Pizza. I wasn’t even craving pizza, but the cozy, inviting entrance whispered, “Come on in!” so I had to give it a shot.

W e kicked off our culinary adventure with Uncle Nick's tiny meatballs,  Normally, I'm not one to get excited about meatballs at restaurants; they tend to be overly soggy or bland for my taste. But these little bites packed so much flavour and had perfect seasoning that I found myself loving them right from the first bite.

Then came the main star the pepperoni pizza with added mushrooms. it was nothing short of delightful. The dough was wonderfully crafted, with that perfect, slightly chewy texture that only comes from being made with care.  The sauce was rich and seasoned impeccably, resulting in a bold flavour explosion that beautifully complemented the toppings.

The ambiance of the place? Absolutely charming! The cozy setting combined with warm lighting made it feel like a home away from home—not to mention the lovely staff who made our experience even more enjoyable.

I definitely recommend a visit t Beast Pizzeria if you're in the area.

Beast Pizza is one of the best pizzas I’ve had in Toronto. Lots of unique options I haven’t seen before. Tried the Meatballer and it was delicious! Great service and inside it was a nice cozy setting.
