We were pleasantly greeted by the nice atmosphere. Of course, heading there for lunch during this season promises to be really busy. There were tons of other people there but we were seated relatively quickly (thanks Open Table).

Once seated, it took a while to get the initial round of drinks. We had waters all around then they took our orders.

The server was okay. He wasn't super helpful with making decisions about what to get. He didn't come to check on us after we got our food. He didn't ask if we wanted anything else or a water refill. That said, it was super busy.

The food was okay AT BEST. We had the turkey burger, fried chicken, big burger and one of the vegan salads. The vegan salad was great but the rest were not very good. The burger was bread heavy - way too much bread. The burger had a smash burger vibe but I couldn't appreciate it much because there was not enough sauce.

Suggestion:
- more burger sauce,
- choose better bread (brioche),
- fried chicken was a bit over and not moist
- the turkey burger was also bready

We went here for a Monday night dinner. Fried chicken might be the best dish here. Changed it up and tried the pad thai with shrimp. It was good. Mac and cheese with decent sized chicken was good. My friend said the brisket was good. Breading the calamari tasted alright. As people said, great selection of beer. Our server was great too - checked up on us frequently and kept our drinks going.

Food was good and came out relatively quickly. Got mild buffalo and Korean bbq. Each pound is 8 wings. The mild buffalo is among the best tasting for buffalo wings among these restaurants. Korean bbq has a nice little kick. No complaints with the Truffle parm fries either. Fries are cooked nicely with a healthy amount of truffle and parm.

Main issue with our visit today was our server. Forgot his name but he had an Australian(we think) accent and wore green shoes. From getting seated to getting our food he was kind. After that he didn’t really pay attention to us - restaurant wasn’t too busy yet and he only checked up on us once. Asked for a water refill and it never came. Had to ask again 10 minutes later for it to finally come, while in that period he was chatting with hostess’ and not really helping any other customers at that time.

When we paid the bill we still tipped, albeit not the highest tip, and he sarcastically said “thank you” while rolling his eyes with a smug look on his face.

TLDR food was great but service can be better.

Staying nearby and popped in for a quick pint and bite before the Sceptres game. The room was maybe half full which was surprising for a Friday night. Blue bird sandwich was delicious. Service was great, priced fair. Would visit again

Always a great time here… the food.. the atmosphere, the people! Hostess was great, our waiter was ok too. The food was amazing and even our friends who were there for the first time— loved their food. It was our third time at this location. The menu here is smaller it seems, than the one in East Gwillimbury.. but great nonetheless!
