Very mixed emotions about this place. It is beautiful inside and the food is incredible. Their truffle fries, kahuna burger, and inferno (salami and jalapenos) pizza were delectable! However, the customer service makes us not want to come back. First of all, we came as a group of 8 people on a reservation for a birthday. The staff did not create a very exciting and positive experience, they were extremely nonchalant which is quite jarring considering we were celebrating an exciting occasion. This wasn’t very crucial though, what really shocked me was the fact that since it was a birthday, I brought a cake to surprise the birthday girl. I handed it to a waiter who said he can bring it out with candles, only to be told when it’s time to bring it out that we have to pay a cake cutting fee of $7 PER SLICE?? Additionally, if we want to eat or cut it ourselves we’re not allowed?? Are you joking? It’s not listed on the website, nobody said anything when we called to book the reservation, and nothing was said when I handed the cake to the waiter. The most ridiculous thing ever!! I paid for a cake, and brought it all the way downtown. You’re telling me we can’t eat it?? It’s literally my cake how are you going to tell me what to do with it and how did you fail to mention it when you had three different opportunities to do so?? Very awful customer service. Ultimately they did not allow us to eat our cake but brought out a complimentary single cheesecake slice. All I have to say is if you go here do not go here for your birthday.

It was a cool place, there were too many people, I hurt my ears, maybe you are not so sensitive, of course, I was standing near the speakers and this was not the right thing, the ceiling was high, the fire was interesting and unexpected. This was my first time going next time I’m going for dinner this time I tried an espresso martini that was great and a bit overpriced but as this bar doesn’t have an entrance so maybe it's fair!

We made a pretty last minute decision to go out for New Year’s Eve. I googled restaurants and bars near union station and came across CC Lounge. Checked out their website to find out that they were hosting a nye party with food and open bar for $100/pp. I couldn’t believe what great of a deal that was! We went with a group of 7 people and they gave us a booth. We arrived around 9:30 where they had food stations set up for everyone to eat until 10:30pm. It wasn’t gourmet food but the spread was great and included lots of carbs which we needed for a night of drinking. The one thing that stood out the most was the impeccable service. Not just our booth service, but all staff were incredibly friendly and were constantly asking if we needed anything and checking in on us. The vibe of the space changed throughout the evening. During dinner (until 11) it was pretty chill with great music and easy to chat with friends. After 11, they dimmed the lights, removed the food stations and started banging the tunes. It was such a great party. For someone that had never been there before and was hesitant to go downtown to dance on nye, I was not disappointed. Definitely recommend to anyone who wants to have a good time, and I will be back for nye again next year!

The lounge itself is beautiful inside with a church modern decor. The staff were excellent and had good knowledge of the drinks on offer. The whisky offering is impressive and we tried a few flights. Prices were reasonable. The location was clean and tidy. We enjoyed our experience and would visit again.

Never ate here. We just usually come a few times a year with friends for a late night drink or dance. Drinks are very pricey. Not very roomy but the atmosphere is great with awesome music.
