I came all the way from Edmonton to see Poppy and it was worth it! The Danforth Hall is a beautiful small/mid sized venue. I didn't realize how important and iconic this venue is until after the show. Lots of iconic and legendary bands have performed here in the past and pretty cool. Sitting in the center mezzanine was great for the acoustics. Everything was clear and precise, sound quality is perfect. The dancefloor looked like fun, but being seated, I can only say it looks great from above!

Also, the woman who helped me find my seat on Friday was very friendly and helpful. The security were fine, and I can tell they were slightly overwhelmed at times with the amount of people that showed up, but they were great and helpful.

All in all, I hope to return here if Poppy stops by in the future, and I all I can say this is my experience is 10/10 and the venue/staff is 10/10. The atmosphere, the overall vibes, the immediate surroundings, the fans were on point.

Fun spot for a smaller concert. The standing area is on a slope, make sure you’ve got your comfortable shoes on. Bar is overpriced but that’s to be expected nowadays. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

By far one of the top venues in a great part of old Toronto with a whole lot of available parking lots behind businesses all up and down the Danforth. Nestled in a long strip of food spots, bars, boutiques and bakeries, take some extra time to stroll the street and take in the city life without being surrounded by towering skyscrapers.

The venue inside is wonderful and allows for mezzanine seating as well as their floor level admission. I personally see a lot of concerts here and always enjoy the atmosphere in the standing floor space. The venue is kept clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I will continue to enjoy seeing many concerts for years to come.

The Danforth Music Hall is an incredible venue with great acoustics, a fantastic atmosphere, and a layout that makes every spot feel close to the stage. I recently saw Shane Smith & The Saints here, and the energy in the room was electric! The sound quality was excellent—clear vocals and instruments without being overpowering. The staff were friendly and efficient, making entry and drinks a breeze. Plus, the historic charm of the venue adds to the overall experience. Definitely one of the best places in Toronto to catch a live show! Can’t wait to come back.

An Unforgettable Night at Danforth Music Hall with The Peter Cat Recording Co.

I recently had the pleasure of attending a concert by The Peter Cat Recording Co. at the Danforth Music Hall, and it was an incredible experience! The energy in the venue was electric, and the band delivered a captivating performance that truly showcased their unique sound and artistry.

From the moment they took the stage, the atmosphere was alive with excitement. The band’s eclectic mix of melodies and rhythms had everyone in the crowd dancing and singing along. Their musicianship is top-notch, and it was clear they were enjoying every moment on stage.

While the concert itself was a fantastic experience, I did wish it lasted a bit longer. After waiting in line for two hours, it was a bit disappointing that the performance was only 1.5 hours. However, the quality of the music made it worth every minute.

Overall, I highly recommend catching The Peter Cat Recording Co. live if you get the chance. The Danforth Music Hall is a great venue, and I can’t wait to see them again! Just be prepared for a bit of a wait, but trust me, it’s worth it!
