The place was nice and we had fun. But the problem was that the rudeness of the employees was indescribable rather than their seriousness. For example, when we were giving our jackets inside, I wanted to give them my coat and cardigan, but they were both together. But the black woman working there wanted extra money for both. I didn't care about the 4+4 dollars, but it was ridiculous to be ripped off like that. In such a luxurious place that was built with such expense, doing such things really lowers the quality.

We really enjoyed our experience here at What So Not’s Motions tour.  The venue is small and cozy.  It is nice if you are looking for a lowkey night out.  The lights and effects were great as well. The bartenders were super nice and gave great service. I would definitely come here for a show again.

Great club and massive. Nice that theh have a separate cosy club underneath. Great looking dancers adding awesome decor. Decent djs. Sound system is too loud though.

One of the best venue for EDM in Toronto. Dprtmnt brings so many amazing talents such as Tita Lau, Sidepiece, Nicky Romero, Third Party and most recently D.O.D. Everyone is truly awesome and by far takes your experience to another level.
Starting with Adnan the promoter, he’s on top of it and very accommodating. The best promoter in the city!! You need to book with him. Keeps us updated on events. He responds immediately and makes sure that our table is booked and ready to go!!
Arriving the security were fast and efficient making sure we go through quickly. Shout out to Jasper, Winston, Dylan and the team for always making us feel safe.
Our host Brandon and Irene are by far the nicest, most accommodating host! They made sure our group were all together, and if we weren’t they made sure that anyone comes in after will be taken care of. They are always smiling!
The bottles girls are always attentive, and very sweet, not pushy at all and definitely beautiful. The bar backs are always making sure our table has new glasses, the area is kept clean. Overall the best experience. If you want to party it’s Dprtmnt. 100 out 5 stars this is why we continue to come for the amazing DJ, experience and hospitality. Always FUN!!!

The transitions were flawless, and the way she read the room and kept the dancefloor moving all night long was incredible.

This is a great venue downtown Toronto. It's decently sized with an upstairs and downstairs dance floor. I've been twice for gay events, but normally it's just a regular club catered toward everyone. Acoustics are good, light show is wild. Bathrooms are also a good size for the size of the venue. The only downside is that on a packed night, it can be hard to get around since the building itself is quite narrow. But it's hard to find a venue in downtown Toronto so I don't mind!
