Our first time at Enigma.
We were the only table that night (as they had recently had some scheduling changes allowing them to open for the night), and they provided us with a SUPERB experience.
Each dish was wonderfully explained, all cocktails and wine pairings were also paired and explained well.
I really enjoyed the gastronomy (gels, etc.) used in the preparation of the dishes. Stand out dish were the lobster and the salmon.

Celebrated our wedding anniversary here today and nothing fell short of our expectations. Each course is a work of art with great flavours, exceptional service by the staff, and lovely wine pairings. It’s hard to find fine dining restaurants this high-end that serve lunch and for parents like us with a three year-old at daycare - We really appreciate that a lunch menu as luxury as this is available as we like to keep our regular schedule of picking her up and spending the evening with her! Delivered all my expectations that I had from a Michelin restaurant.

My husband and I had an impressive experience at Enigma recently.
We were served ten dishes, each of which was outstanding - particularly the wagyu and the spiced chicken. The attention to detail was sublime and we were so impressed by how the ingredients worked together.
I had white truffle on my wagyu which came at an extra cost but was one of the best things I’ve ever tasted and worth the money. The amount of truffle was generous and a thoughtful addition to an already incredible dish.
The butternut dish (which came after the appetiser dish) was also a standout. It was the most intense and enjoyable experience with butternut that I have ever had. It was rich, potent, and something I wish I could eat every day.
There was one dish that neither of us particularly liked (the lobster) but this was more due to personal preference than the quality of the dish, which was objectively excellent.
My husband had the cocktail pairing and I had a sip of each cocktail. We were both so impressed by how well the waiter understood the food such that he was able to create cocktails that complemented each dish perfectly. The cocktail that paired with the artichoke dessert was remarkable - having had a sip of the cocktail before the dessert arrived, I then had another sip after finishing the dessert and it was an entirely different experience.
The atmosphere befitted a Michelin star restaurant - small and exclusive, cosy, and modern. Diners are able to personally interact with the chefs and the servers are attentive and warm.
A very positive experience and an enjoyable evening. Thank you and well done Enigma.

Generally, the service is quite good, great atmosphere and very clear introduction on every cuisine and beverage.

First of all, great wine pair, even make us regret of not choosing the premium wine pair. The choice of wine is wise and decent, greatly fit the food, highlighting instead of interfering with the food. Wine itself do have different characteristics. Great experience with James 😊

For the taste of the cuisine, the feeling is quite complicated. For the food itself, techiques and materials are fine. The main fish with the 70% lean wagyu is so impressive. Great balance between fatty and chewy. The black garlic sauce and shitake gravy are indeed 1+1>2.

But the flavor of first four cuisine are kind of overlapping. The combination of fruity sweet and sour is almost everywhere in the first 4 cuisine. It indeed interrupted us enjoy the fish dish. The Halibut in fish dish is soft and flavorful, and seasoned tomatoes are surprisingly impactful

By the way,The appearance of the cheese snack is a bit too close to one of the dessert. :)
