I am deeply disappointed with my recent stay at the Hilton Toronto. From the moment we arrived, our experience was marred by harassment from security, which completely overshadowed what should have been an enjoyable getaway.

We were repeatedly approached by security due to alleged noise complaints, despite not being unreasonable or loud in our rooms. After the first complaint, we chose to move on and not escalate the situation, but to our dismay, security came back a second time. This time, they simply stood outside our door, without knocking, presumably waiting for us to slip up. We only realized they were there when we went to leave our room. This intrusive surveillance felt incredibly uncomfortable and invasive. We were informed that there were noise complaints at 11:00 PM and 11:30 PM, yet we weren’t even in the room at those times—our Uber returned at 11:40 PM, which shows that the accusations were completely false. It honestly felt like we were being unfairly targeted, and I can’t help but wonder if it was due to us being people of color or because I am trans. It’s hard to imagine any other reason for this excessive monitoring, especially when they could have simply knocked or called us to resolve any issues.

What makes this even more frustrating is that when we moved to our second room, we received no complaints at all. This clearly demonstrates that we were being unfairly targeted in the first room, further proving the unjust nature of the treatment we experienced.

This over-surveillance completely ruined our evening and our ability to enjoy the hotel. Not only was the experience uncomfortable, but it was downright distressing to feel like we were being watched without cause.

To make matters worse, when I asked for a complimentary upgrade as a Gold member, I was told in writing that I would need to pay an additional $50 to be considered for one, despite the fact that I had already emailed in advance with a detailed request and should be free based on availability. They claimed they had no record of my upgrade request and offered me just one continental breakfast for two rooms booked under my name stated as just policy.

This experience was appalling, especially given the competitive nature of the hospitality market. I expected better from a brand like Hilton, but instead, I was left feeling unwelcome, harassed, and completely disrespected. This stay was a complete disappointment, and I will be thinking twice before considering Hilton properties in the future.

Nice room. Nice view and friendly staff. Unfortunately the TV sucks and you can only access cable channels and movie rentals. Like what the hell is this 2005? No it’s 2025. There should be streaming options. I was shocked that this hotel in the middle of downtown didn’t have that option. Crazy. Had a decent time though.

My wife and I went to the Four Seasons theater to see Swan Lake. Being right across the road was perfect. The valet parking is super convenient. Rooms were very nice, and the front desk staff was helpful and polite. Great turkey sandwich at the restaurant in the main lobby. Overall, it was a great experience.

Had an amazing stay at the Hilton in Toronto! The staff were outstanding 💁‍♀️💁‍♂️They were always helpful, friendly, and available whether by text, phone, or in person. Huge thank you to the receptionists, housekeepers, and bellhop for making everything seamless ❣️

The room was clean, well-maintained, and had everything I needed—coffee, tea, a mini fridge, a safe for valuables, and plenty of charging outlets (especially near the bed, which was super convenient). The toiletries were great quality, and there were lots of towels provided.

One of the highlights was the heated indoor/outdoor pool. I went a few mornings and evenings, and it was a great way to unwind. The sauna and gym were also well-kept, though I wish the pool and sauna stayed open later than 10 PM. The gym had longer hours, which was nice.

A standout feature was the mobile key access through the Hilton app. No need for a physical key—just tap your phone to unlock the door. You can even share access with up to four people, which was super convenient.

Another big plus is that the hotel is connected to the underground mall, making it super convenient to access shops, restaurants, and other places without having to go outside—especially great in bad weather!

A few things that could be improved:
- A timer or clock in the sauna would be helpful.
- Some broken tiles in the pool and women’s locker room need fixing.
- Later hours for the pool and sauna would be a great addition.
- The TV could be upgraded to allow for streaming or screen mirroring, as there was no way to connect a phone or use AirPlay.

Overall, a fantastic experience and I would definitely stay here again!  ❤️👌

We really enjoyed our 3-night stay in the Toronto Hilton. The location is just about perfect for access to anything downtown via public transportation, the PATH (an extraordinary system of connecting hallways throughout downtown), or by foot. The hotel offers just about as many amenities as we could imagine (and most we didn’t even use), a real feeling of elegance and spaciousness on the ground level, and truly friendly and helpful staff. We had a minor issue with our room right after check-in and it was taken care of immediately in a manner that exceeded our expectations. Our stay was in a room that was up to date, clean & comfortable, and easily met our needs. Next time we’re planning a visit to Toronto, we’ll consider this hotel first.

Tundra Restaurant ligger på Hilton Toronto Hotel och är en perfekt plats för en romantisk middag eller för ett affärsmöte. Det är tyst, bakgrundsmusik inte överväldigande så att man inte behöver lyfta sin röst för att driva en konversation. Menyn har olika poster och personalen är utmärkt (även om det ibland är en utmaning att få deras uppmärksamhet). Totalt sett mycket bra för en hotellrestaurang.

Jag gillar lokala råvaror när jag är på en restaurang när det är möjligt. Tundra levererar det. Fantastisk mat utformad med lokala namngivna ingredienser. Den fantastiska maten i kombination med enastående och effektiv service gör maten här till ett måste-försök

Min fru och jag tillbringade en natt på Hilton och ätit frukost på restaurangen Tundra. Vi väljer buffé, men du kan beställa al a carte. Maten var vanlig biljettpris, frukt, spannmål, yoghurt, bakverk, äggröra bacon etc. Ingenting stod så bra ut. Maten var medioker men jag har hittat detta typiskt för de flesta hotell, men det är väldigt bekvämt att undra nedervåningen till frukost utan att lämna egenskapen - - inte bra men jag skulle göra samma sak nästa gång. . .

Hade en risotto-maträtt som var mycket bra, kanske lite mycket mat men inga klagomål och ett trevligt glas vin. Boka om du vill ha en bra plats till lunch. De reserverar de roligare borden.

Jag var där flera gånger - med olika service. Ibland ett vänligt välkomnande - ibland ganska inte exakt vänligt. Att rensa borden var inte så bra. Mat var bra - för mycket stekt saker för min smak.

Vi gick bara där en gång eftersom upplevelsen var så dålig vi gick inte tillbaka. När vi kom fram till frukost fanns tabeller nära fronten som var staplade med smutsiga rätter. När vi äntligen sitter (min fru var tvungen att hitta någon att sätta oss på eftersom värdinnan inte var där) tabellerna på vardera sidan av vårt bord lämnades un bussed hela tiden vi åt vår frukost. När vi slutade och betalade för vår måltid och lämnade; de ovannämnda borden nära framsidan hade fortfarande smutsiga rätter staplade på dem. Visst inte till standarderna för en Hilton-egenskap.

Tundra Restaurant är ett trevligt ställe för lunch. Det är ganska, inte bullriga och mycket bekväma bås och stolar. Olika saker på menyn. Vi hade Garden Flatbread Pizza och House Salad och Club Sandwich med House Salad. Båda lunchen var läckra. Tjänsten var utmärkt.

Besviken med mat bara en enkel soppa som laddades med peppar Mycket dålig service alls inte alls vänlig. Kaffe inte så illa.

Mycket trevlig plats att koppla av och ha en god lunch. Nästan allt på menyn verkade mycket aptitretande. Beslutade för en lätt lunch. mycket nöjd.

Denna restaurang är inuti Hilton hotel. Vi åkte till frukost på affärsresa och blev besvikna över tjänsten. Våra servitör tränade ny personal men var väldigt ouppmärksam vilket fick oss att undra om det var en bra passform. Kunde ha haft frukostbuffé som såg mycket typiskt men beställdes från frukostmenyn. Ägg benny bara ok men veggie frittata var utmärkt. Var tvungen att vänta ++ för en dålig kopp kaffe och hon hade 3 x innan ketchup anlände till vårt bord. Kan ha varit en av morgon men förmodligen finns bättre val.

Bara här för en drink men väldigt besviken över att de skulle betjäna Goose Island ipa i ett Stella glas! Om du inte känner öl så är det inte så mycket, men om du gör det här är det stora faux pas. Speciellt vid 6 pm när du ska ha massor av glasögon inte 12 när det är förståeligt kan du ha slut på! Även bruschetta soggy: (

Den enda positiva om denna restaurang är att den ligger nära baletten. När man måste fråga tre gånger för vatten, och två gånger för bröd, vet man att de är underbemannade. Min middag var varm. Servitören valde att argumentera med min vän och fick henne att ändra sitt sinne till en dyrare biff. Det var så svårt att hon inte kunde skära det, bad att det gick tillbaka, igen servitören argumenterade, då insisterade han på att klippa det för henne! Hon kunde inte tugga det! Därefter gick det tillbaka och hon fick den måltid hon ville ha i första hand. Denna stek var inte så tuff. Trots att vi frågade om tre räkningar fick vi en. Då kunde de inte hitta maskinen för oss att använda våra kreditkort.

Pizza var ugnsbakad, det var fräscha och en av de bra pizza som jag någonsin smak. Den biff och räkor också bra

Tundra Restaurang och Bar hade fin service och jag njöt av te efter en lång kväll och uppskattade den service vi fått.
