I have gone here at least 50 times over the last year. Their premium seats are worth every cent and are amazing!
I had 1 issue and their customer service solved it so fast. I said something on the Friday and when back Monday it was solved!!! They were so helpful, polite, and detailed I was in awe.
Thank-you for being a great venue with fantastic acts.

I've been to History a number of times, and each experience has been outstanding - regardless of who’s playing. The venue always provides a great view, no matter where you're standing or sitting, so you never feel too far from the action. The lines are typically quick, which is always a plus when you're eager to get in and enjoy the show.
One thing I really appreciate about History is the air flow—it never feels too crowded or stuffy, which makes for a much more enjoyable concert experience. Don’t get me wrong, it gets hot, but it’s not as bad as older venues. The smoking pit is also a nice touch for those who need a break from the crowd. It's well-organized and gives you a spot to relax without feeling disconnected from the event.
Overall, History is one of my favorite venues to attend in the city. Whether you're there for the atmosphere, great acoustics, or just a smooth experience all around, you really can’t go wrong. Highly recommend it for anyone heading to a live show!

Ok I've been trying to avoid shows at History for years because it's hard to get to and most of the shows there are usually more expensive than other venues in the city. I was recently at the Refused/Quicksand show and History for the first time. The venue is pretty amazing. About 2200 people were there and it didn't feel crowded.  You could clearly see the stage from everywhere, with a balcony as well. Amazing sound system, and so many door staff that it took 2 minutes to get in. The show was amazing.

My review is based on the 3 concerts I attended there:  Tokyo Police Club, Foster The People, BBNO$.  All three times were good experiences.

I think this is the best operated events venue in the GTA.  Location-wise, there's nearby parking available.  There's a Harvey's nearby if you get hungry after the show.

There are 4 entrances, each with double doors, allowing for 8 security lines to move people through faster than most non-arena, non-stadium venues.  This is helpful when the line up wraps around to the back of the building.

The inside is nicely setup and looks classy.  Plenty of bars and bartenders so there's never a long line.  There's plenty of space to stand and get a view of the performance or you can pay a premium for table seating upstairs.

Each time I've been there, the staff acted friendly and polite.  From the security staff at the doors to the coat check staff to the bartenders.  Security will hand out water bottles to people remotely close to the railing in-between sets.  I've seen paramedics jump into action to take care of someone falling ill.  My kid suffered a bit of exhaustion and dehydration and a staff member went to get water.

I highly recommend going to shows at History and would be happy if all concerts took place there.

its a pretty decent venue, sound quality is good and its indoor which is always nice. prices are a bit high and if you're shorter you might have a harder time getting a good view as the stage is a bit lower than at some other venues, but it also means you will have a better view if you're lucky enough to be right at the front. not bad overall, enjoyed all of my visits here

SUCH a cute venue!! The concert stage is raised and the gen admission floor is a bit sunken so there's great views even for little people like me. Bartenders were excellent with a full service bar and food - I didn't eat but I bet it's good. Security was very thorough with an extensive exam of bags and IDs but a wonderful night - can't wait for more shows there!

Fantastic venue for a concert! Getting there isn't the easiest because, well, it's Toronto and traffic is atrocious, but everything else was great. I appreciated that they have pizza because we had a 5 1/2 hour drive from the States and didn't have time for dinner beforehand. We had general admission main floor for LCD Soundsystem, and we were able to see perfectly from where we were standing, about 20 feet from stage off to the right a bit. It was packed and the crowd was dancing and having a great time, but at the same time very respectful of others. The sound in the building is fabulous, and the staff working admission, security, and the bar were professional and friendly. I don't have any complaints, especially since the 6'5" guy in front of me moseyed out of my view so I could see. :)

I had a wonderful experience at this venue for a classic rock show. They have a large open floor and a 2nd floor for people to buy tables to sit down to enjoy the show. There are bars surrounding the perimeter to keep lines short and quick. They offered a small variety of food options from what I saw including pizza. I didn't try any of the food or order a drink but I watched people come and go quickly.

I'm of two minds with this venue. It is clean, it features a wide variety of acts (I've seen Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Oliver Tree and Peter Hook here and had a genuinely good time). Still, I absolutely hate having to stand for over three hours each and every single time I come here.

Really liked this concert venue. It's the perfect size and had a lot of bathrooms and bartenders.

This is honestly my favourite venue. Bars are fully serviced so no long lines, washrooms are nice and CLEAN, staff are friendly but firm. Food is ... OK, don't buy the water like I did! Tap is free. Usually I hate paying for GA - I like having reserved seating/areas to guarantee my view for a show, but here, you really can't go wrong (unless you're like me suffering from short height faced with tall people right in front. Sad.) There's I think 3 levels of GA: a pit, an area by the bar and washrooms, and 2nd floor. There's also some reserved seating in scattered sections, but unless you really NEED a seat, GA is your bestie. Also, the reserved seating tends to be in the very back because of how the venue is designed. The worst part for me is location. It's right by woodbine beach park. It feels so hard to get to since I'm from the opposite end of the city. Technically, there's a bus route you can take to/from Coxwell station, but I came here once during rush hour and the streets only have 2 lanes and 1 of those lanes is shared with the streetcar...so...hope there can be new ones built literally anywhere else!

This is a great addition to Toronto venue-wise. I've been here for both a big band concert and and EDM event. Acoustics were decent for both. The entire space is massive, their capacity limit is underwhelming for the size of the venue - which is a good thing is you like to have some personal room. They do have metal detectors and pretty aggressive security. FYI one of my girl friends was a little taken aback, but I think it's probably a good thing. Bathrooms are clean, and water is free. Huge bonuses! Wouldn't hesitate to go to a show here.

A very cool venue with lots of space and good service. The lines aren't extremely long and it's very clean. I would suggest if you don't like crowds to get a table on the top floor. Great views and you have a waitress.

This was my first visit to this venue, and it is beautiful! Very convenient layout, and not a bad view in the the house! Bars surround the area raised from the GA area, and plentiful staff made the alcohol acquisition quick and simple. I was NOT expecting $70+ dollars for 4 top shelf gin and tonics ($90+ with tip.), but I digress... This place has A LOT of security/ushers, and we felt very safe in the 3,800 person crowd. Sound was fantastic. It is obvious that a lot of thought went into planning Drake's venue.

A good size concert venue with decent acoustics. There's a raised area near the back that gives good sightlines to the stage. Line ups to get in can be long as they make you go through metal detectors and show ID, but once in the place is clean. Even the bathrooms had attendants keeping it tidy. There's a good range of beers, wines and spirts, although like so many venues nowadays they are way over-priced. Two drinks, a can of beer and a glass of wine cost over $33!
