We recently dined at Kellys Landing and had a mixed experience with our meal. To begin, the calamari appetizer was exceptional. The texture was perfectly tender, and the dish was incredibly addictive. We also thoroughly enjoyed the beef rigatoni; the sauce was well-balanced, complementing the tender beef, and we appreciated the subtle spice.

However, the steak was disappointing. We requested medium-rare, but it was cooked unevenly, with approximately half of the steak reaching medium-well doneness. My friend enjoyed the parm frites, praising the flavor, although we both noted some pieces were unfortunately soggy. Additionally, the side of market vegetables was overly oily and, in our opinion, did not justify the $5 charge.

We went here for late lunch so not much patrons. One of the good things about the place is that it is just a stones throw away from Union Station.

We went to Kelly’s Landing this weekend for the first time. The atmosphere was pleasant and inviting, but it was quite busy, so I would definitely recommend making a reservation.

The drinks were enjoyable, I really liked the Bulletproof Lemonade. We had three different servers, none of whom introduced themselves, which was a bit unusual as that's typically part of the experience. 2 of the 3 seemed somewhat on the unfriendly side. I understand it was busy, but it was still noticeable.

Service was slower than expected. It took over 40 minutes just to get our bill after we finished our meal and drinks. We ended up spending more than 2.5 hours at the restaurant, which felt a little excessive.

As for the food, I ordered the braised beef short rib off the feature menu. Unfortunately it was cold—not just lukewarm, but cold. It seemed like it may have been sitting out for too long before being brought to our table, which was disappointing. On the other hand, my boyfriend's meal came out hot, so it was odd that there was such a discrepancy.

Overall, while the restaurant has a nice ambiance, I’m unsure if I’d return given the service and food temperature issues.

An ok recommendation. Maybe I just have high standards but I’ve gone to Kelly’s landing twice, and both times they couldn’t cook a steak so maybe avoid. Their bread is absolutely delicious and it’s a great place to sit down for a drink. I’d recommend their salmon too. Atmosphere is nice, it can get busy to definitely don’t skip the reservation.

Visited kellys with colleagues during lunch, came in with high expectations, left on a more disappointed note. Sharing my honest review with pros/cons.

Pros:
+ We were asked what drinks we want as well as what kind of water we would like (ex: carbonated).
+ Pudding and Mousse were good. ~ 9/10
+ Pizza Margarita was very good ~ 8-9/10
+ Menu had gluten free and vegetarian options

Cons:
1. Communication/ Service:
- Waitress has not asked if any of us have any allergies/ dietary restrictions
- It was difficult to approach waitress as she was not checking on us
- We had to call waitress in order to finally make an order and kellys was not even as busy
- We were told that we cannot order mains at same time as appetizers since it is hard to punch it in the system considering that we already waited for around 30mins for our orders to be even taken, we then had to wait again to place mains order.
- When mains were finally served they were not served at same time to everyone , one table got it around 10 mins earlier and even when they brought mains to 2nd table one person still had to wait for next 5mins for his main.
And I understand this can happen, in that instance waitress has to communicate it to set expectations. Basically it comes back to communication issue again.
- To add once all mains were served three people did not get any cutlery to eat with , and again we had to catch waitress since she did not bother checking on us and our experience
- Water was only refilled at the end once
- There were not enough napkins
- When time came for desserts we were not approached by waitress and we had to again make attempts to call her over and then once we managed to do it , she said that apparently dessert menu was always there just in the drinks menu.

2. Food:
- Despite it looking good on pictures most of people rated it as 6/10 where my rating would be closer to 4/10 for my dish which was Moroccan chicken with salmon add in, which tasted like poor imitation of Indian chicken curry, salmon was very good though.
- For desserts we tried all three that are presented on the menu including mousse, pudding and cheesecake. Mousse and pudding were pretty good however cheesecake was clearly in the fridge for a very long time, i tasted that.
Mousse & pudding are 8-9/10 while cheesecake closer to 2/10.
- No Vegan dessert options

3. Additional feedback/ needed improvements:
- One of the plates was dirty and we had to ask waitress to get new one
- Was hard to get waitress to bring us a bill
- It is important that waitress set right expectations and continuously communicates of any issues/ delays to avoid ruining experience

Overall, in conclusion service is at 3/10 it was bad, i got strong feeling that waitress just did not care about us neither about our experience. Food was rated 6/10 by most people while some people rated it as bad (~2-3/10).
Definitely not a place you ever want to go to unless you want overpriced poor tasting food and even worse service.

great experience at this place. my server Natalie was awesome, I wish I could write a review just about her, she was really good. food is awesome as well, I just wish it didn’t take so long, i waited over 30mins for the food, plus other 30mins for dessert and they were not even that busy. overall, totally recommend

Vi har haft middag här i en bekväm, avslappnad atmosfär. Servicen var vänlig och Välkomnande. Menyn gav bra variation och maten var utsökt i goda portioner

Maten var fruktansvärd. De torra nachosen, till den smaklösa pizzan till Chicken Club. Fruktansvärt dyr mat. Kommer aldrig tillbaka hit igen.

Ok först av Gary vår servitör är förmodligen en av de vänligaste servitörer vi någonsin har träffat Han var mycket intentive och mycket sällskaplig. Det fick dig att känna dig som en VIP-kund som han behandlade med dig med respekt och fick dig att skratta sedan kombinera det med hur bra maten var här. Jag skulle definitivt komma tillbaka när som helst.

Vi åkte hit precis innan jag flög tillbaka till Storbritannien, jag önskar att jag hade åkt dit tidigare. Personalen är verkligen vänlig. Vi gick när det var en match på på Scotiabank Arena, så det var extra upptagen, men de hyste oss med ett bord mycket snabbt. Maten var härlig och kom varm och utsökt. Skulle starkt rekommendera och kommer att gå igen, nästa gång jag besöker Toronto. Det var också en riktigt bra atmosfär till restaurangen.

Vi stannade här för lunch med barnen efter ankomsten till Union Station. Maten var fantastisk ( 5 stjärnor! ) , och servicen och atmosfären var båda utmärkta ( 4 stjärnor ) . Restaurangen var mycket barn - vänlig, vilket var ett stort plus. Vi rekommenderar det starkt.

Utmärkt upplevelse med en empatisk personal som är bra med barn, utsökt mat och otrolig service. Kommer definitivt tillbaka.

Jag besökte Kellys landning på ett infall för det enkla syftet att ta en drink i väntan på tåget att anlända till Union Station i närheten. . . ja en drink blev fyra och några minuter blev 3 timmar och det är allt på grund av bartendern serverar mig, hennes namn var Alicia och hon var enastående. Jag hamnade vistas på grund av den service och rolig atmosfär jag var försedd med. Vi skämtade till och med om att hon var som Taylor Swift på en Chiefs-match, fick andra fans att titta bara på henne och det var så jag kände, jag stannade på grund av den positiva energin hon hade. Drycker var 10 / 10 och personalen uppenbarligen samma, skulle besöka igen.

Maten och servicen var bra, mina servrar hette Mel! Hon var vänlig, professionell och snabb som jag älskar. Skulle rekommendera till mina vänner och familj!

Vilket ställe att gå till . Hälsningen du får gör att du känner dig mest bekväm och det är en härlig atmosfär här Mellan landningsvingarna var New York striploin och Maple chicken food perfekt och vi var mycket nöjda med vår kväll . Personalen var stor under vårt besök men ett särskilt omnämnande till Mickey som var ett nöje att träffa och vad en enastående tillgång till restaurangen.

Kelly's Landing ligger tvärs över gatan från Union Station i centrala Toronto. Det är en stor och rymlig restaurang med gott om sittplatser inomhus och utomhus. Det finns TV-skärmar runt restaurangen som visade amerikansk fotboll när vi var där. Det finns gott om alternativ på menyn, inklusive fisk, vegetariska och glutenfria alternativ. Kvaliteten på maten var mycket bra. Servicen var bra och kostnaden var rimlig med kanadensiska standarder. Sammantaget var detta en mycket bra matupplevelse.

Vi åt denna restaurang under en resa till Toronto nyligen i slutet av augusti. Jag skulle se det som en exklusiv pub. Menyn hade ett bra utbud och var rimligt prissatt för atmosfären och kvaliteten på maten. De har också en barnmeny med variation. Personalen tog med sig små snackstallrikar med kex och grönsaker strax efter att vi kom för våra barn, vilket uppskattades. De gav dem också aktivitetsblad. Vi var alla nöjda med våra måltidsval. All personal var mycket vänlig, men servicen var långsam med tanke på att restaurangen var halvtom vid tidpunkten för vårt besök.

Vi gick efter middagsrusningen . Väntade 20 minuter vid vårt bord . Ingen bekräftelse från en server överhuvudtaget . Jag är okej med att vänta om de åtminstone erkänner vår närvaro och säger vara rätt med dig, etc. Det slutade med att vi åkte . Jag har ätit här några gånger tidigare och det var långt mycket bättre upplevelse. Hälften av borden var också tomma , så de var inte fullsatta .

Tillfällig middag men maten var bra och rimligt prissatt. Personalen var mycket hjälpsam och vänlig även om de var riktigt upptagen. Hade en eller två goda cocktails där inne och de var verkligen mycket trevligt!

Shar vår server var professionell, personlig och uppmärksam som inte var över bärande. Restaurangen var ren och bra vibe med enastående service och mat. Älskar den industriella träinredningen som ger en sådan inbjudande atmosfär.

Det här stället är mycket upptagen före - Blue Jays spel. Det har en hel del utrymme så vi behövde inte vänta länge för att komma till vårt bord. Väl vid bordet tog det dock lång tid för personalen att komma och ta emot vår dryckesbeställning. Värdinnan gjorde det. Vid denna tidpunkt var det förbi Blue Jays rusning och inte lika upptagen och allt tog fortfarande mycket lång tid. När maten äntligen kom var underväldigande med tanke på priset. Dessutom, på grund av en allergi, var vi tvungna att ha en ersättning och de försummade att nämna att det skulle kosta $ 12 extra dollar.
