Last night, I had the pleasure of dining at La Cubana and I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The ambiance was warm and inviting, setting the perfect tone for a relaxed evening.

To start, I ordered the Conch Fritters, which were absolutely delightful. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, they were bursting with flavor. A perfect appetizer that left me eagerly anticipating the main course.

For the main, I chose the Guava BBQ Beef Short Ribs, and let me tell you – they were nothing short of spectacular. The ribs were melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the guava BBQ sauce added a unique sweetness and depth that elevated the dish to another level. Every bite was a delightful combination of smoky, sweet, and savory. It was clear that the chefs take great pride in their craft.

To complement the meal, I had a Margarita, which was perfectly balanced – refreshing, tangy, and just the right amount of kick. It was the ideal drink to round off such a delicious meal.

Once we walked in this place, the decors reminds me of Havana. I was expecting the traditional Cuban food, however, the food was over my expectations!!! By talking to the server, their chef infused Canadian cuisine with Cuban cuisine, which makes it even more delicious. We ordered the rice plates with pork belly and roasted short ribs, both are delicious! And the portion is big enough to feed a hungry soul! Would recommend to all my friends:)

For whatever reason (likely because of reviewer’s fatigue😌) I held off writing something for La Cubana. For a couple years now I’ve been wanting to try cuban food and this place was the perfect opportunity to do so. The thing that is most important for me to point out was the fantastic service, waiters were extremely attentive and nice. Other than that, the restaurant is designed well, and is at a great location. The food was tasty, simple and would resonate with anyone. I recommend coming!

Came here for the Cubanos but dish was super tasty. Got pulled pork, beef short ribs and a salad and we couldn’t finish between 3 people. The cubano was on point, the red slaw, tostone and bean and rice were superb complementary side dishes to the mains. This place is a must try if you’re in the area.
