We stopped into the Hotel for a drink when we first arrived in Toronto, the lobby bar/restaurant was full so the Library was suggested by the staff. It was exactly what we needed to unwind from the train ride in. We were greeted warmly and shown to a table right away. The bartender was attentive and thoughtful and offered some excellent suggestions. We didn't order food, but will next time! The menu was like a novel, full of interesting bits of information and beautifully written. The hostess was lovely and checked in with us often, as she did with other guests in the lounge.
Beautiful decor, comfortable and unpretentious. Looking forward to our next visit.

This is an extremely pleasant spot to get a drink and a snack.  Perfect for a date or just an after work drink.  Cocktails are absolutely on the expensive side but given the location and quality it's well worth it.  The truffle fries are a fantastic snack with a drink.  Service was superb - even though it was very busy when I went.

I had the Bay Street (what they used to call a beef dip, back in the day). My lunch companion had the Library Ceasar with grilled chicken. It was busy so I was glad I had reserved a table. Lovely place, haven't been here for years. Excellent place to spend time.

This bar is located in the Fairmont Royal York hotel and I personally love to try cocktails if the place is popular and has some unique options in the menu and I must say this place does have it!!! The overall experience was amazing and they have a great variety of cocktails in the menu with creative descriptions and also do have some good bites in the menu. I loved this place!
