What a beautiful experience both my boyfriend and I got to enjoy. The ambiance was absolutely beautiful and romantic. Hidden underneath Mothers Tongue is a stunning speakeasy that serves perfectly curated drinks and small sharables for everyone to enjoy. I forgot our servers name but he made sure my partner and I were well taken care of. We were feeling spontaneous and got the dealers choice and he absolutely kicked it out of the park! My boyfriend loved it so much he ordered it a total of 3 times 😭
Also you MUST try their General Tao Bao… an airy soft bao bun, crunchy chicken with the perfect amount of sauce… heavenly 🥹
Perfect for an intimate date night. Definitely adding this one to the books !

**For those of you who can't find way in: you have to go inside mother tongue and find the stairs that leads to one big door and that will be the entrance.

Atmosphere was great, and I also loved the drink. But I think they need more bartenders or at least people that can take care of serving/payment etc. Would still recommend tho.

Went to this speakeasy to try their new happy hour called Gin Room Sessions. Select Gin based cocktails are only $12. Their snack menu was a lot more robust than I expected. The chili oil noodles and spring rolls were fantastic. Make sure you add baos to your order with any of the meat options, you will not regret it.

Atmosphere and service is top
notch here. Great little date spot, amazing vibe….a little hidden gem tucked away under mother tongue.

Cocktails are constantly rotating and the servers know what they are doing. Highly recommend.

Finding this bar is a bit of a escape room challenge; you have to enter through the Mother Tongue Restaurant and take the stairs downstairs. However, the effort is undoubtedly worth it. This intimate spot is perfect for small groups and particularly suitable for romantic dates.

The atmosphere is what sets this place apart — it's intriguing and adds a touch of mystery to your evening. While the menu is concise, featuring just a couple of appetizers, I found the choices to be interesting. My only suggestion would be for the establishment to consider expanding their menu, both in terms of food and drinks. Doing so could elevate the overall experience and cater to a wider range of preferences.

Looking forward to revisiting and hopefully discovering more offerings on the menu.
