One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Canada! Having dined at Michelin-starred and world-renowned restaurants across the globe, I can confidently say LSL stands toe-to-toe with most 3-star Michelin establishments.

The execution, ingredient quality, and thoughtfulness in each dish were outstanding. The Japanese-inspired dishes were the undeniable highlight – absolutely phenomenal. While the French dishes weren’t exactly my style, they were still beautifully crafted. And the desserts? Wow. You know a restaurant is exceptional when the desserts are a solid 10/10 – creative, balanced, and truly memorable.

Special shoutout to Leroy and our server tonight, Matthiew, for elevating the experience even further. Bravo, LSL – can’t wait to return!

Dinner at LSL; Leroy, Saito, Le Squer; was the most elevated dining and culinary experience l've had ever. From arrival to departure, each interaction was intentional and reflected the michelin star quality of culinary excellence and upscale ambience. Yet I felt like I was celebrating a milestone dinner at the closest of my friend's homes.

Le Maître d Matthieu was attentive to every detail and the staff were all aligned. Chef Leroy Didier had us on a culinary journey with the artistic and beautiful marriage of French and Japanese cuisine and culture. It was a perfectly curated 10 course meal that was complemented by the most thoughtful wine pairing by Sommelier

It wasn't just the quality of the courses, but the presentation and delivery of their creation stories including their prestige and ingredients exclusive to specific regions or suppliers from around the world. Chefs delivery was further personalized with handcrafted notes, Server Lucie's attention to detail and interactions with myself and the other guests. And not forgetting the unforgettable parting gifts and goodbyes from the team.
The Michelin achievements of the Chefs combined with the staffs eminent service standards I felt both transported to the most grandeur establishment imaginable but also at the most comfortable setting possible. I wouldn't be surprised to learn of the restaurant, LSL, being awarded the coveted Michelin honour in the near future for the beyond exceptional food and dining experience.

I had the pleasure and honor to dine here. The whole experience from start to finish was magical.

From the custom made oven behind the chef to the beautiful crystal glasses and crockery.
Each course had an amazing story from where each of the ingredients came from around the world. The wine pairing by the sommelier was perfect with each dish.

I didn't want the night to end. Everyone was so nice and loving and warm. We got to even talk to the chef Didier Leroy while he was telling the story about every dish and also signed our menus with a beautiful note. Thanks again to Lucie our server and Matthieu our Le Maître.

I recently had an extraordinary dining experience at LSL, where the combination of exceptional food, service, and atmosphere made it truly memorable. Each dish was not only delicious but also carried a unique story behind it, which I had the pleasure of learning firsthand from the chef and sous chef. Their passion for their craft was evident in every detail, from the selection of ingredients to the choice of kitchen appliances, making each bite a delightful journey.

Out of the 11 courses, my favorite was the Amela Tomato stuffed with tuna. The presentation was simply lovely, and the taste was incredibly refreshing, offering a perfect balance of flavors that lingered long after the dish was finished. It was a standout moment in an already impressive lineup.

The intimate setting of the restaurant created a warm and inviting atmosphere that made the entire evening feel special. The staffs were professional, attentive, and genuinely friendly, ensuring that every aspect of the dining experience was perfect. I felt like I was sharing a moment with everyone in the restaurant, from the chefs in the kitchen to the fellow diners around me.

A special mention goes to the chef, who was not only incredibly talented but also very approachable and eager to share the inspiration behind each dish. This personal touch made the experience even more enjoyable and left me with a deep appreciation for the artistry involved in the culinary process.

Way up in North York there is a restaurant named LSL. It is a high end collaboration between three of the world's finest chefs: Master Chef Didier Leroy, the chef de cuisine, Masaki Saito, from the two-star Michelin Japanese restaurant Sushi Masaki Saito, responsible for procuring the luxury ingredients, and Christian Le Squer from Paris, from Cinq, the three Michelin star restaurant at the George Cinq hotel, who helped create the menu.

The space is high end chic with only nine seats. Everything in the space is finished with a sense of flair.

The food is astounding.  I have never experienced anything before like this. Fresh top level ingredients from Japan paired with French culinary genius.  It's visually stunning as it is for the pallette.  Chef Didier also entertains all night with his beautiful sense of humor combined with his Buddhist wisdom.

The service from a very lovely set of servers is top notch.

I can't say enough.

This is one of my favourite restaurants in toronto and it's a travesty that it's not a Michelin 2 star. Let alone not being recognized at all. Was back after finding out that Chef Le Squer was in town. The experience was fantastic. As usual. The service was the best in toronto and among the best I've experienced. Service was done in unison from when the plates are presented and removed. Exquisite precision from every member from how the address you, to how they notice what you are doing without even looking at you. Dishes were fantastic with an incredible twist of Japanese freshness and French complexity. Standouts were the signature tomato dish, the sweet shrimp, mushroom soup and the bouillabaisse. But really it was all fantastic. Wine pairing was amazing and well chosen for the meal. The Germany Riesling was a standout for us. Special for us was that this was a week before Le Squer's birthday so there was a surprise birthday celebration for him that included gifts for him and cake and champagne all around. To put a final nice touch. Chef Leroy himself stood at the door to thank us as we left and he even escorted us to our car with an umbrella outside since it was raining. I've only had chefs escort us to the door a handful of times and only twice have they gone outside with us. None have ever held an umbrella for us as we went to our car. We didn't want him to do it as it's not his job but he insisted. Love that guy. This is part of my permanent rotation.

One of the best meals and experiences I have had. Normally I talk about each dish in my reviews but it would not do the meal justice. Each dish was an experience, starting with the amuse bouche and ending with lovely tea. Every bite was had multi level flavors and a combination of textures but it all tastes great, not simply cool. I also found the staff fantastic. From Didier to speaking with us regularly to probably the best, most accessible sommelier I have ever met. While incredibly professionally, they avoided being pushy (or condescending). If the cost is within your budget, it's a great experience.

Their 9-course tasting menu ($680 per person) started with a trio of small bites that we're told to eat from the front to back: Beginning with a ginger and citrus Campari foam that burst in the mouth. It's not overpowering but did wake up the palette and cleanse it for the second. The hairy crab tart's briny flavour screamed of ocean (in a good way) so the crustacean was highlighted in the bite. We go from sour to salty. Lastly, a sweet bite with a generous portion of foie gras sandwiched between crunchy coffee crisps and topped with passionfruit jelly. Imagine having a really decadent sweet-and-salty candy bar. LSL doesn't keep you waiting for their signature dish: a peeled Amela tomato stuffed with finely diced tuna and topped with Kristal caviar. It's something Chef Didier Leroy created for a dinner with Yo-Yo Ma that made him cry. It looks deceptively simple and features expensive ingredients (an $8 tomato for one) that gets diners excited. Having tried the caviar by itself, the ingredient solo would have been very pungent but once combined with the fruit and fish became amazingly fresh and light. That natural sweetness continues with the Hokkaido scallop crudo, a dish that sounds Japanese but has a unique European flair. The scallop was meaty and fresh, topped with top-shelf uni flown in from Japan. It makes for a lusciously creamy bite. Yet, what surprised me most were the crunchy bits of dehydrated scallop reduction that gave the dish crunch and an umami touch. My favourite plate was the crispy scale amadai where the fish was flash fried, so the meat becomes flaky, and the scales create a crunchy topping. It arrived with a warm ball of brioche that was perfect for wiping up every drop of the delicious beurre blanc. Good to the last drop. This is a long review for the rest go to Gastro World.

La grande cuisine Française étoilée à Toronto !!! You have never eaten this well in Toronto and if La Guide Michelin does not award this Avenue Road teleportation device that brings you directly to les grandes cuisines de la belle France at least 2 stars this season, then I have lost my faith. Master Chef Didier Leroy rises to new heights of gastronomic elegance guided by the legendary Christian LeSquer of the 3 Star Le Cinq of Paris using the best products flown in daily from Japan via Chef Masaki Saito. Spend the monthly dining budget on this one culinary trip to the stars on gossamer gastro angel wings and bask in the glory of this other-worldly dining Mecca. You can thank me after you float back down to earth. Merci Chefs Didier et Christian. Le petit Jesus aux culottes de velours! P

Quite possibly the best dining experience I have ever had in North America. No doubt, the reviews will follow, as its only been opened for two weeks. 9 lucky diners enjoy a 3.5 hours 11 course meal carefully designed as a culinary artistic experience. Chef LaRoy delights in sharing his passion for these two cultures, French and Japanese, and expertly narrates us through each course. I don't want to give away the menu, as there is true art going on here and giving it all away might ruin your experience. But let's say there is a Tomato and Caviar course that once made Yo Yo Ma cry, and for good reason. There is a pasta dish that is truly the "jewel" of the menu for me. And concluding with a three course dessert experience, including a Japanese Mango and Passion fruit panna cotta will leave you breathless. I have left out many surprises with each of these dishes. Every detail of the experience has been carefully crafted, from the cutlery, dishes, and so much more. The front of house staff is white gloved and expertly attentive. The kitchen team is like watching the best sports team win an Olympic medal. The best of the best in perfect sync. With Alo maybe considered one of the best Michelin star restaurants in Toronto, LSL now rivals that classic dining experience. I hope the world soon discovers LSL. The price is not for the faint of heart, but you are paying for one of the best culinary experiences you will ever have.

Best dining experience we have had in the city of Toronto who are ready for their stars! Incredible evening from the wonderful host Lucie who created us so warmly, to the som's sense of humour- to the incredible Chef Didier who prepared us a delight, the pastry chef who made the most amazing baby brioche and baby madeleines and the rest of the kitchen staff created a special evening. The food , the entire meal was perfection and the level of attention to each curated dish was perfectly put together on the most beautiful tableware and drinkware(Zalto and Baccarat) . Highest level to details in a serene environment. Hope to see this team get their much deserved Stars. Their team is ready . Definitely worth coming to Toronto for the experience.

Refresh the three views. Originally, I made a reservation at 5:45. My friend arrived at the store at 5:39, but the door was locked. I arrived at 6 o'clock and tried to open the door several times, but the door still couldn't open. I also made several calls, but no one answered. Later, I called back at 7 o'clock. I said that my friend and I waited outside the door for an hour and the door didn't open. Now I'm I can go back nearby. The shopkeeper said that the last round of dessert had been served and could not be served, and the shopkeeper kept insisting that they had opened the door, and asked us to give evidence of being present and closing the door, but when I gave evidence that they did not open the door and asked for a refund (usually really busy, I can't spare time for a while, and the key point is also I was so angry that I didn't want to patronize again at all) They were also playing the wall. I said: Then we have been standing outside the door and waiting for almost an hour. What are you doing? Didn't I see the screenshot that the door I sent you didn't open? Shopkeeper: But we have opened the door! It's not our problem. We can't refund the fee! We took a day to eat the meals of the three chefs. We didn't expect to be treated like this. So far, we have been waiting outside the door for almost an hour. So far, we have not received an apology, only received: Please give me screenshot evidence, and laugh contemptuously: It's not our problem, We have opened the door, and we have a clear rule that the money cannot be refunded. Ha ha, we just have no choice! I'm very disappointed to be treated like this.
