The culinary experience at LSL is nothing short of extraordinary. The chefs, including Master Chef Didier Leroy and Masaki Saito, have curated a menu that harmonizes the delicate flavors of Japanese cuisine with the robust essence of French cooking. One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Canada! Having dined at Michelin-starred and world-renowned restaurants across the globe, I can confidently say LSL stands toe-to-toe with most 3-star Michelin establishments.

The execution, ingredient quality, and thoughtfulness in each dish were outstanding. The Japanese-inspired dishes were the undeniable highlight – absolutely phenomenal. While the French dishes weren’t exactly my style, they were still beautifully crafted. And the desserts? Wow. You know a restaurant is exceptional when the desserts are a solid 10/10 – creative, balanced, and truly memorable.

Special shoutout to Leroy and our server tonight, Matthiew, for elevating the experience even further. Bravo, LSL – can’t wait to return!

a night to indulge, experience, and remember.

Dinner at LSL; Leroy, Saito, Le Squer; was the most elevated dining and culinary experience l've had ever. From arrival to departure, each interaction was intentional and reflected the michelin star quality of culinary excellence and upscale ambience. Yet I felt like I was celebrating a milestone dinner at the closest of my friend's homes.

Le Maître d Matthieu was attentive to every detail and the staff were all aligned. Chef Leroy Didier had us on a culinary journey with the artistic and beautiful marriage of French and Japanese cuisine and culture. It was a perfectly curated 10 course meal that was complemented by the most thoughtful wine pairing by Sommelier

It wasn't just the quality of the courses, but the presentation and delivery of their creation stories including their prestige and ingredients exclusive to specific regions or suppliers from around the world. Chefs delivery was further personalized with handcrafted notes, Server Lucie's attention to detail and interactions with myself and the other guests. And not forgetting the unforgettable parting gifts and goodbyes from the team.
The Michelin achievements of the Chefs combined with the staffs eminent service standards I felt both transported to the most grandeur establishment imaginable but also at the most comfortable setting possible. I wouldn't be surprised to learn of the restaurant, LSL, being awarded the coveted Michelin honour in the near future for the beyond exceptional food and dining experience.

I had the pleasure and honor to dine here. The whole experience from start to finish was magical.

From the custom made oven behind the chef to the beautiful crystal glasses and crockery.
Each course had an amazing story from where each of the ingredients came from around the world. The wine pairing by the sommelier was perfect with each dish.

I didn't want the night to end. Everyone was so nice and loving and warm. We got to even talk to the chef Didier Leroy while he was telling the story about every dish and also signed our menus with a beautiful note. Thanks again to Lucie our server and Matthieu our Le Maître.

I recently had an extraordinary dining experience at LSL, where the combination of exceptional food, service, and atmosphere made it truly memorable. Each dish was not only delicious but also carried a unique story behind it, which I had the pleasure of learning firsthand from the chef and sous chef. Their passion for their craft was evident in every detail, from the selection of ingredients to the choice of kitchen appliances, making each bite a delightful journey.

Out of the 11 courses, my favorite was the Amela Tomato stuffed with tuna. The presentation was simply lovely, and the taste was incredibly refreshing, offering a perfect balance of flavors that lingered long after the dish was finished. It was a standout moment in an already impressive lineup.

The intimate setting of the restaurant created a warm and inviting atmosphere that made the entire evening feel special. The staffs were professional, attentive, and genuinely friendly, ensuring that every aspect of the dining experience was perfect. I felt like I was sharing a moment with everyone in the restaurant, from the chefs in the kitchen to the fellow diners around me.

A special mention goes to the chef, who was not only incredibly talented but also very approachable and eager to share the inspiration behind each dish. This personal touch made the experience even more enjoyable and left me with a deep appreciation for the artistry involved in the culinary process.

Overall, LSL is a must-visit for anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience. I can't wait to return and explore more of their creative and flavorful offerings!

Way up in North York there is a restaurant named LSL. It is a high end collaboration between three of the world's finest chefs: Master Chef Didier Leroy, the chef de cuisine, Masaki Saito, from the two-star Michelin Japanese restaurant Sushi Masaki Saito, responsible for procuring the luxury ingredients, and Christian Le Squer from Paris, from Cinq, the three Michelin star restaurant at the George Cinq hotel, who helped create the menu.

The space is high end chic with only nine seats. Everything in the space is finished with a sense of flair.

The food is astounding.  I have never experienced anything before like this. Fresh top level ingredients from Japan paired with French culinary genius.  It's visually stunning as it is for the pallette.  Chef Didier also entertains all night with his beautiful sense of humor combined with his Buddhist wisdom.

The service from a very lovely set of servers is top notch.

I can't say enough.
