We celebrated our anniversary here and it was just an amazing experience. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We ordered the tasting menu and everything was delicious. The bison was so smooth and melted in my mouth! The calamari was also delicious. The wine pairings were also well thought out. We definitely look forward to dining here again!

Well, actually I write this review as a professional cook, completely unbiased.
It was my 1st time here and I expected to be amazed by each meal of the tasting menu, but if I want to be very honest, it didn't meet my expectation, because I used to suppose that Lucie is the best European restaurant of Toronto, among Michelin ones, but it wasn't.
So I ordered the tasting menu, at the fix price of 210$, it wasn't worth it at all, even compared to Toronto standards. Eventhough items were very varied and consists of almost 10 meals, it had only 1 red-meat option and no Foie-Gras. The Foie gras was on another menu, not the tasting one, which was disappointing.( in the past, it used to be there, but now they switched it).
**In terms of food, without any doubt, the "La mahi mahi" was the best item of the menu. So fresh, remarkably fine and could showcase high techniqueability of the kitchen team and chef. The egg item was also so professional, with that fine foam. Then everything started degrading until dessert, all items of the dessert were absolutely Michelin level, and I admire the idea and ornamental aspect of banana and caviar dessert. It showcases the chef experience and expertise. But most of other items were just fine, nothing special and the salsify item was quite bland for me.
**Sauces: almost all the foods had sauce and they were perfect and rich, not too salty and not greasy or buttery, which was so perfect. Thanks.
**Dry-aged bison: The marination and brine idea behind that was genius and it was so so tender, but in result, it wasn't magical. I don't know if it were cooked on grill or pan, but it was normal not wow!.
**Butter and bread service: The best butter of Town. I could eat that alone. Even the color proves it.
**Inspirational point: I had no idea that smoked paprika and chocolate get along with each other, but they do.So do Banana, chocolate and Caviar.
**Service: The service is top-notch, very friendly and my garson, Akshay, enlightened the night for me with his absolute professionalism and nice personality. I would rate him 6/5 and the whole service 5/5, but food 4/5.
I couldn't feel like that I am dining at the south of France. The menu needs more refinement and philosophy.

Went there for a business lunch. The service is excellent from coat checking to table service. The servers are friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Food is great. We ordered Le Canard and Le Boeuf - excellent. We also shared a dessert. The restaurant also offered pallet cleaner (delicious), fresh bread and macron (lemon flavour and also delicious). Granted it isn’t cheap but well worth the money.

In general, my friend, my partner and I enjoyed the food at Lucie. Some dishes were quite decent while some of them were a bit random. The squid appetizer and the beef wellington (that I shared with my friend) were made to perfection. Even though beef wellington tends to be heavy, their version tasted quite light.

However, the lemon dessert tasted too sweet (even having paired with a mint sorbet) and it overpowered the dish. That said, lemon desserts are generally hard to make. The "surprise" appetizer also tasted strange. The flavours didn't come together and I didn't quite understand the idea.

The servers were quite attentive and we generally appreciated the service. We would still think this is a good french restaurant in Toronto.

An outstanding experience from start to finish. A formal and warm welcome to one of the most beautiful spaces in the country. We opted for the tasting menu with the caviar add-on. My partner and I aren't the most sophisticated or experienced when it comes to this level of dining, and frankly were a bit intimidated at first. However the staff was eager to walk us through each step with fun and insightful explanations. You could tell they shared our excitement. Truely a magical night, and the most delicious meal we've ever shared. We're so greatful for wonderful service and spectacular presentation. We hope to return soon.
