We went here to try their winterlicious menu before the offer ended. I got the mushroom soup, steak frites, and apple clafoutis. We also ordered their beef tartare which isn't part of their winterlicious menu (really good btw!). The food was great, but I enjoyed their steak frites the most! I like the soup, however, I was expecting it to be a little more hot when served, but still tasted good. The apple clafoutis was great, but I find it a bit dry. Our overall dining experience was okay, although the service was quite slow as we found ourselves waiting for about 15-20 minutes to place our order. Still willing to come back next time to try their other course.

Came here for winterlicious.
We had a really good time. The service was very friendly and welcoming. The staff were attentive and didn't make us feel out of place at all, or as if we were bothering them at all.

The food was really good and rich. We appreciate the waiter helping us choose which foods would agree with my wife's lactose intolerance.

The space was decorated very quaintly and nicely. Bathroom clean. They give you that postcard at the end with is cool...

The French cuisine at Maison Selby was truly impressive; every dish was flavorful, perfectly balanced, without being overly spicy. And for sure, fresh.

I had such a wonderful experience here! The service was exceptional, with a friendly and attentive staff that made us feel welcome. The food was absolutely delicious—every bite was perfection. Good was absolutely delicious and service was excellent. We polished our plates! The sauces are the secret ingredients. They were all so good. We are repeat customers and cannot recommend this place enough.

The only thing to recommend is to have better music for evening diners. From Madonna ("Like a prayer) to Katy Perry, even my teenage son was cringing on the music choices for a classy restaurant setting. It's not a 90s pub so maybe have some French music or jazz music would be more appropriate?

Vi hade en underbar tid att fira en familj födelsedag i slutet av augusti. Platsen hade en fantastisk atmosfär, Service oklanderligt, och maten av hög standard. Jag var lite nervös bokning online från Storbritannien men mina förväntningar överträffades långt! Tack för en fantastisk måltid : )

Har kommit hit i flera år och tråkigt att IT har gått utför under den tiden. Cocktails har blivit mindre, maten har blivit medelmåttig och tyvärr har OnB tappat greppet. IT tog mig några år att börja äta på deras restauranger igen och efter att ha besökt deras asiatiska restaurang på Spadina och den i centrala Montreal i herrgården har jag återigen tappat tron på denna grupp. Maison Selby var alltid en go - till för oss som jag njöt av cocktails mestadels men allt annat saknas.

Inredningen och atmosfären i Maison Selby överträffas bara av den utmärkta maten. Jag åt våromelett och en latte. Omeletten var perfekt tillagad och utsökt och smuttade på latte fick mig att tro att jag var i Frankrike. Det enda problemet var, eftersom IT var packad för brunch, ljudnivån var riktigt hög. Kommer definitivt besöka igen nästa gång jag är i Toronto!

Det här stället är en pärla. Restaurangerna är vackert inredda och personalen var verkligen vänlig och upplyftande. Maten var riktigt god, vi åt lax, oxfilé och lite sparris. Allt tillagades till perfektion och läckra. Tack för en härlig middagsupplevelse.

Noll låtsas, fantastisk uppmärksamhet på personlig service, och jag svär personalen, åtminstone natten jag var här, var alla på E ; ) Charmig, snabb - kvick, snabb att svara, positiv och energisk, de var alla, servrar, mat - bärare, empties - removers, dryck - påfyllning - de var alla trevliga, snabba med bra quips, och helt förtjusande. Var hittade "dirigenten" en sådan lämplig - och stjärnbeströdd - besättning? Bra gjort. Det är vad jag säger. Bra jobbat. Mat? Snygg och väl presenterad. Min fänkålssallad var härlig, men smakade inte fänkål. Synd, för jag älskar fänkål! Den grillade laxen var perfekt tillagad, och såsen var himmelsk. Som efterrätt åt jag chokladmoussen, som var fyllig (men inte för) och söt (men inte för). Allround, härlig tid, bra service, riktigt trevlig mat och vin. Och här är något jag var glad att se: Vi såg HELA Toronto här. Ungdom, äldre (jag är definitivt en av dem; ) alla färger och etniciteter, och jag älskade, älskade, att se detta. Toronto är en ungdomlig, urban, mångsidig och energifylld stad som fungerar. Tack, Selby-gänget. Du tänkte på alla bitar, och satte ihop dem vackert.

Var inte lika bra som betygen. Jag beställde en Cesarsallad, den var oätlig, torr och salladen smakade gammal och rutten. Min huvudsakliga var torsk, kunde inte hitta torsken bara dressingen överallt. Ganska nedslående minst sagt.

Jag gick på lunch till Maison Selby den 12 februari 2025 för att uppleva deras Winterlicious meny. det var minst sagt underväldigande. Deras prispunkt på $ 48 för deras fasta meny för lunch var dyrt och var inte värt priset och levde inte upp till mina förväntningar på hur en fin middag upplevelse ska kännas och smaka. Jag åt svampsoppa som förrätt vilket var ganska gott. Resten av det var dock en stor besvikelse. Jag fick Sangria för en extra $ 15 och det var smaklöst och jag kunde inte smaka någon alkohol. Helt inte värt priset. Jag valde steak frites som huvudrätt och det såg ut och smakade hundmat. Biffen var också mycket tuggig. Min efterrätt var den kladdiga kolan och den saknade dessutom smak och kunde inte avsluta den vilket säger en hel del eftersom jag älskar mina desserter! Jag slutade betala ca $ 78 med dricks som jag känner var ett totalt slöseri.

Bästa delen är atmosfären, fantastisk inredning. Servicen var mycket dålig. Satt länge innan vår beställning togs. Och ingen uppföljning, om vi inte ringde servern. Maten var ok.

Vi valde denna restaurang baserat på närheten till vårt hotell, recensioner och menyn. Beef bourguignon är en rätt som min partner älskar, så vi bestämde oss för att prova den på ett ställe där menyn lutar franskt. Vår servitör var mycket vänlig, och huset inställning gör för en mycket mysig matupplevelse. Vi beställer ankleverparfait (paté) , pommes frites, moules (musslor) och boeuf bourguignon. Allt var helt utsökt. En av oss är fransman, så förväntningarna brukar vara höga så Maison Selby uppfyllde och överträffade dem. Det skulle vara en av våra vanliga platser om vi bodde i närheten. När vi utvecklade en bra konversation med vår servitör, överraskade han oss även till en oväntad efter - middag shot av Amaro som snabbt förvandlades till en provsmakning av de olika de har. Mycket lärorikt och, ja, härligt surrande! Vi hade en så bra tid på Maison Selby, och vi rekommenderar människor att åka dit!

Plats: På Sherborne söder om Bloor är det tillgängligt med tunnelbana eller så kan du parkera på närliggande offentliga platser. Fuska inte på parkering eftersom parkeringsövervakningen är över hela grannskapet. Dekor: Bistro stil i ett gammalt historiskt hus med flera rum. Mat: En rad mer bekanta, men exklusiva brunchrätter, och gott bröd, croissanter och kaffe samt en anspråkslös men utsökt dessertmeny. Service: Mycket professionell och uppmärksam. Pris: Mer än de vanliga brunchkedjorna men du betalar för en annan atmosfär. Totalt: Bra för ett besök.

Atmosfären och inredningen i denna byggnad är oöverträffad i hela Toronto. Jag kom för happy hour och tog några drinkar och en fantastisk hamburgare. Valuta för pengarna är oslagbart på denna plats under happy hour. Vlad som är chef tog hand om att se till att alla mina förväntningar uppfylldes och han gjorde min erfarenhet mycket minnesvärd med en elegant men personlig touch. Jag har ätit över hela världen och kan säga att servicen här är totalt världsklass. Kom för maten, atmosfären, minnena och viktigast av allt en känsla du är hemma.

Bokstavligen den värsta upplevelsen i mitt liv att gå till denna plats. Jag blev inte bara förolämpad av personalen och chefen den ödesdigra kvällen. Jag kommer alltid att minnas detta katastrof misstag av en institution att som en plats att hålla sig borta. Slösa inte bort din tid energi eller pengar på en plats som denna.

Vi gick baserat på några tillägg på instagram. Min man vet att jag älskar franska restauranger/bra. Vi hade cocktails och älskade dem. Till aptitretare åt vi escargot och fransk löksoppa, och till huvudbifftartartar med pommes frites och grillad bläckfisk. Vi älskade varje minut. Vi hade inte bråttom alls (dock hade vi vår förrätt och huvudrätt beställd på samma gång vilket kunde göra att någon kände sig stressad). Jag skulle absolut gå tillbaka. Älskade det, och upplevde inte vad andra gjorde som betygsatte restaurangen lägre.

Ägarna av denna restaurang får full kredit för att skapa en stor meny tillsammans med bra mat i en trevlig matsal. Undergången är servicen. Två av oss, som anlände före resten av vårt sällskap, väntade i 10 minuter på att bli erkända av eventuella servitörer. Slutligen erbjöds vi vatten men inga drycker. Vi var tvungna att be om att beställa drycker från menyn. När de andra i vårt sällskap anlände bytte serveringspersonalen så att vi betjänades av en annan server. Nära slutet av måltiden lämnade vår server restaurangen! Att inte ses igen! Ingen kommunikation till oss. Efterrättsmenyerna, som vi hade bett om, låg på vårt bord i 15 minuter innan vi flaggade ner en annan personal som serverade oss. Efter desserten kom ingen alls till vårt bord de kommande 20 minuterna. Jag var tvungen att faktiskt gå till baren för att få räkningen och betala, eftersom ingen personal deltog i vårt bord. Det övergripande intrycket denna erfarenhet lämnade oss med är personalen bryr sig inte riktigt mycket om ryktet om restaurangen. Detta är olyckligt eftersom maten är utsökt.
